Considering that I, like a lot of us I'm sure, was beginning to spend my time at his age in a cloud of booze and pot, this kid is doing quite well... and writing exceptionally well for his age.

I think Biscuithead13 is kind and considerate to others. I wish a lot more were like that. I have read some excellent and intelligent reviews coming from this young person.

Biscuit is a sweet kid, and sometimes I think he acts older than some of the adults I know, who can take a valuable lesson from this young man. He seems to have been raised with some values, which is very evident through his reviews.

In all honesty, I never really read any of his stuff until coming across some of the recent controversy regarding him. So, my curiosity aroused, I did go back and read some of his reviews. And I would have to agree with Irishgit; he seems like a reasonably bright 13-year old, but he's a 13-year old. I don't want to compete with anyone for curmudgeon status, but I've always been pretty upfront about it, I think-- one of the reasons I don't like Spielberg movies, or certain Stephen King novels, or certain TV sitcoms, is because they always feature precocious kids, and I'm one of those rare people, I suppose, not particularly charmed by kids, precocious or otherwise. It's not that I don't like kids, necessarily; I do (by the way, in the recent film "The Taking Of Pelham, 1, 2, 3" I have 2 young twin cousins appearing as extras in it, so you might want to see it, help support their burgeoning movie careers, and they'll take pity on me in my old age and I can die in opulent splendor in Holl... Around a week ago, Biscuithead was added to the Reviewer's List. This well-liked 13-year old garnered 8 reviews and, for some reason, 91 combined comments from several threads in what attempted to rise to drama status of some kind, albeit nothing compared to a real RIA drama. I hope not, but I think that all of this attention was too much for the kid. Hope he wasn't scared off. PS: He hasn't been back since...

Nice kid in some ways. On the other hand, and sorry to be an ill tempered curmudgeonly old son of a bitch, my interest in the political opinions of 13 year olds, however intelligent, is very limited. And on a personal note, to Biscuithead. Please read the above carefully. It is not an attack on you, despite what some idjits on here would like to spin it as.

Look at all the fun I missed by not logging on after 4:00 pm yesterday. I'll give Biscuithead four stars, with definite 5 star potential. It seems like people have a thing for blowing everything out of proportion around here. Irishgit's post may not have been a glowing review, but it certainly wasn't an attack. Just as Biscuithead has every right to express his political views, Irishgit has the same right to not read them. Personally, I like seeing Biscuithead around here, as he adds another NBA fan who isn't a Lakers fanatic. His basketball reviews are solid. He knows the game. He has also written a number of actual product reviews, which I'm sure makes Magellan happy. It's obvious from some of his reviews that he's still a kid, but he seems to be quite intelligent. Some have argued that he's too young with too little experience to write valid political reviews, and I suppose that argument has some merit. But on the other hand, it seems that too much experience can cloud som... Read more

Well, he writes about as good as I do. His content and opinion is that of a 13yr old, and because of that...don't pay much attention to his stuff.

I'd call him pretty advanced for his age, but it does become evident in some posts that he is a tad wet behind the ears. He's pretty straight up and polite, at least, and does seek wisdom from other people. All in all, he has potential here.

Most 13yo kids are airheads... and they seldom get smarter as they age. Biscuit is definitely an exception.

Seems like a sweet kid, good reviewer. Update: After reading a lot of comments about this reviewer I can only say this: Biscuit, you certainly are popular. There are a lot of people on this site that got your back.
