A top teacher of New Age Thought and New Age Metaphysical anti-biblical teaching under the guise of the label Word of Faith teaching. The serpent deceived Eve with the same lie that Word of Fakes tell you that you are (the same as) a little god.

So, Winston's sermons leave a bad taste in your mouth. Winston doesn't taste good like an evangelist should. Tell me ONE TV evangelist who isn't a money-grubbing douchebag. Name one. I dare ya, I double dare ya.

This man told his members that God was going to make some of them billionaires so they could further God's Kingdom and work. I could not find any Billionaire disciples of Jesus in the Christian bible. However, I did take note of how the men Jesus selected were the equivalent to blue collar workers. Paul was not a billionaire but his trade after he began to be a follower of Jesus was a Tentmaker. If the fame of Jesus spread for these many years without having to be a billionaire what the hell makes Bill Winston thinks God needs the cash now?? If anyone has a chance of being a billionaire it is him because of hoodwinked, gullible nitwits who buy into this and give this man all their money. Wake the hell up for goodness sake! Stupidity, stupidity!

I have learned so much from listening to Bill Winston. My husband was at the point of death, my job was proposing termination for me a 55 year old woman, who has been with my job for over 23 years but thank GOD for Bill Winston. It was though the Lord had him speaking to me directly. He said the Lord God is your source, the job is just your resource. They offered me another job, which would be a 45,000 dollar cut in pay. Bill winston came on that morning and said, do not compromise with the devil, you are the head and not the tail, no weapon formed against you will prosper. The weapon will form but it won't prosper and if GOD be for you, who can be against you. And that vengenance and recompense belongs to the Lord. He taught that words are spirits, and to watch what we say over our lives, our children lives and so on and soforth. He has really been/is a tremendous help to me during my valley and dry season. He feeds you good and wholesome spiritual food for the soul. Than... Read more

BILL WINSTON IS THE BEST!!!! . I LOVE AND RESPECT THIS GOD SENT, GOD FEARING, ANOINTED MAN FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. I AM IN AWE OF HIS UNSHAKABLE CHILDLIKE FAITH AND LOCKSTEP WALK WITH JESUS CHRIST. HE IS THE MOST HUMBLE MAN I KNOW BESIDES KENNETH HAGIN, kENNETH COPELAND, AND THEIR BEST FRIEND WITH THE VERY SWEET WIFE, NAMED BETTY. WHENEVER I GET THE CHANCE, I TELL EVERYBODY TO WATCH HIS PROGRAM BECAUSE HE WILL BRIGHTEN YOUR DAY AND THEY WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. A good preacher/teacher/leader tells, A great preacher/teacher/leader explains, An excellent preacher/teacher/leader demonstrates, But the BEST preacher/teacher/leader INSPIRES. HE IS ALSO VERY HANDSOME AND SIMPLY ADORES HIS BEAUTIFUL WIFE. I THANK GOD FOR HIM.

It is not simply words that carry the creative force. It is faith filled words. Saying something alone is simply a programming agent. The more you say it the more you believe it. The more you believe it the more of an opportunity for you to exercise speaking faith filled words. Faith is the creative force. And what better way to exercise your faith than to speak faith filled words and create the world that God designed for all of us to live in. Some people confuse the use of creating this faith filled environment with the acquisition of things. The reality is that whatever God needed God called for with his words! ...i.e. "Let there be Light." He filled the atmosphere with his words, which were full of faith, which produced exactly what he said. Now if God had a need what would he do? Why didn't he call for a light bulb, a lamp, a candle, a fire, a flame, a bug, or even lightinging.....because his need was a much greater light. So he called light...in all of it's aura and splendor. ... Read more

I visited Bill Winston's church when I was visiting a friend in Chicago last fall. As it happened there was a guest speaker that Sunday so I have yet to hear Bill Winston for myself. However, I was impressed by the warm welcome we were given by members of that congregation before and after the service. I think that reflects back on leadership. Btw,I don't have cable TV here, I get the main networks, so I don't see the broadcasts.

Hi, I don't really desire to get into any debate over anyone and the way that God uses them. The postings that I have read on this blog can be a little disturbing, and kind of sad how people choose certain Scriptures from the Holy Bible to back up what they are saying. All I can say about Dr. Winston is that first and foremost, I have never met him personally and I will be okay if I never met him. The thing is, I have been listening to teachings that he has presented for at least 6 years on the BWM broadcast as well as the internet. I can not speak for others, only for myself. I am so glad that someone is finally teaching Kingdom principles in such a way that even a child can understand them. I know that Dr. Winston is what people would call "prosperity preacher", but at least he is telling others "how" to receive their own prosperity. I have sat under many teachings and they have been okay, but the Pastors could not really teach about the "Promises" of God because there was no... Read more

I am a 71 year old white grandma. The surgeons were going to remove my legs. I needed someone who believed in healing for every one. I went and was healed and still have my legs. I lost my healing after two weeks and realized I needed the kind of Faith Dr. Bill taught. I have been there four years. The next time I learned The Word enough to declare my own healing. Dr Winston and his wife are some of the strongest Word teachers you can find. The worship music is second to none. I can experience God's presence there. Their classes are mighty! It is a multi-cultural congregation with dynamic special events. Few churches teach the fullness of God's gifts available to all. It has blessed our family.

Mat 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Mat 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Too much focusing on self-gratification & exaltation of ourselves. I would like to see more exalting & glorying in Christ. Just a few Scriptures to Support Mandatory Tithing is no longer required because Christ has fulfilled all Laws and requirements of the law by His death on the Cross: Giving to support the Church is Voluntary & in light of what Christ has given us for free Voluntary giving should be more than 10 percent but if not our favor & blessings is our Legal right & inclusion in our package of Salvation when Jesus is our Lord & Savior Colossians 2:14 "Blotting out the handwriting of Ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. The word Ordinance (requirements was used in Malachi 3:7) Ephesians 2:15 "Having abolished in his flesh the enmity even the law of commandments contained in ordinances for to make in himself of twain one new man so making peace". I used to scan the channels and catch a glance at this man then scan right on. One day I deceded to watch him and have been hooked ever since. I prayed to God that I wanted the meat of the word and not a preacher that's always teaching the milk. There are more babies in the church that have been saved many, many years and still complains and cries because no one will cater to them. Getting the milk of the word for that many years won't help you in a crises, you have to know what God's word says. I have sit in churches and heard the message of faith coming from many angles. Seems like most of the time the preacher is trying to convince you and as well as himself of what he's preaching. I think I've heard it all. I've never been to Bill Winston's church and have spoken to the order dept. (These are outsiders hired to take orders only, I think), and spoke with a lady in the business dept. to ask about a certain CD just released. They were very nice. I have orderd several CD sets ... As for sprittual growth: I will admit that my faith in the Lord God and his word was already strong before I started attending LWCC, but I have grown stronger than I was before. This is supported by scripture: We change into the same image of the glory of the Lord from glory to glory into His marvelous image. Pastor Winston is doing his part, to the glory of God, to usher us saints "unto measure of the fulness of Christ. As for financial Growth: When I first began attending LWCC my pay checks were smaller than they are now. Much smaller. It hasn't been but a year and a half since I started attending sevices there. Was it just coincidence or did God do it through me as it is written in His infallible word: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

My husband and I attended Bill Winston's church at a time in which our marriage was in crisis. I tried contacting this "ministry" on several levels to seek help and even approached the "ministry staff" for prayer and help after a service and was essentially told that it was my job to pray for my husband. We never recieved any intervention and I am now a divorced mom struggling to support 2 children on my own. Shortly after my husband left I started going to Harvest Bible Chapel. I thank God for them! They have been a true example of sharing the love of Christ through example. They care more for the spiritual welfare of their congregation, where as BWM focuses on "recieving what is due to me as God's annointed." (Money)

Bill Winstons teachings have helped me take my faith and relationship with God to the next level. His broadcast has helped open my eyes to lots of misteachings by misled ministers for years. Most importantly he teaches you to read the bible for your self and ask God to help you understand. This along with a good solid church home of your own can help work wonders in your life.I can testify to this because I was in a spiritual slump until I saw him one night. My life has been so blessed in every way since I started applying his teachings(spiritual, financial, mental,& health wise).I was able to stop most of the same sins that keep me in bondage for years and claim my life back and get whats mine on this earth things most preachers don't talk about. And no I haven't sent his ministry a dime of my money I tithe and give to my own church home.I don't look at his personal life or whether or not he has security or you can shake his hand who cares non of that will get you closer to God.But he teach... Bill Winston is a fraud. 1. Made several "prophecies" in front of everyone (and on tv - I was there many of those times)  that NEVER CAME TO PASS. (Guess God didn't get the memo those days). Automatically grounds for applying the false prophet label. 2. Personally standoffish. (Does not show the gentle nature that christians are supposed to have - claims it is because "he's shy" - yet has no problem performing for mass audiences.)  3. Has been divorced. Keeps this VERY quiet. His current wife is NOT his first wife. Biblically this disqualifies him from Church leadership - according to the bible that he claims to follow. 4. Egotistical. Photos of him and his wife plastered all over the grounds. WTF? Is this the sign of a humble servant of God, or is is all about "Dollar Bill" Winston (and yes, he has referred to himself by that moniker - it's on tape.)? 5.Not a pastor. How in the HECK can you personally be involved in the guidance of 15,000 church members? Answer, you c... Read more

I've mever seem Bill Winston in person but I watch his program faithfully. My belief is that it is not the person but the message that matters. Late one night I saw a short little man talking about the presence of the Holy Spirit. I was captivated because no one had ever taught me (raised a Southern Baptist) about the indwelling presence of God. This was balm to my soul. Since that time I have embarked on a deep study of the scriptures. I meditate that God will interpret his Word for me and show me how to apply it in my life. Personally I found that obedience to His Word opens greater and greater degrees of understanding. Scripture says God does not give His glory to another. I don't know if Pastor Winston is a warm fuzzy pastor or a menace! I do know that through his teachings I have been drawn more closely to the Word of God. Who am I to question who God chooses to use? I simply thank Him that he has chosen to use Pastor Winston's teachings in my life. When I find that I... Read more

I like Bill Winston's teachings and have learned a lot from him.  I will admit that sometimes the customer service people are slow to respond, but I have never been "ripped off" by that ministry.  In fact, once when I was going through a bad period with no job and no money coming in, they sent me a tape set free of charge that helped me a lot.

We were ripped off by Bill Winston Ministries. We'll never order anything from him again. Their customer service never answers the phone. It took us weeks calling several times a day to get them to answer. We have to drive into town to get  our mail. We go once a week because it's so far. But we went everyday for over a month because we wanted his CD'S. We expected great things from them but all we did was lose our money. We spent lots of money that we don't have on gas to going to pick up something that was never going to come. We finally got customer service to answer. A girl named Karen thought it was funny. Someone else kept picking up another line and laughing about it. It sounded like a bunch of telephone solicitors. Not christians. Bill Winston turns more people away from Christ than he leads to Christ with this type of behavior. He got our money this time but will never get another chance to rip us off again. I have followed his ministry from a distance for over 8 years. I think his business background has blended well with ministry. He is an excellent teacher an has the charisma of a person that should carry the message of the Bible across the globe. If you listen closely you can hear simple instructions that will alter any situation. Faith is a muscle. I am believing God for 1 million. You can't critisize someone for what they believe God for especially if you don't have a vision of your own. I have $1 million because I have a $1 million vision. Can you see the formation of my muscle. Be it unto you according to your faith!

Don't believe them because anyone can get this degree online on the Internet. I even got my dog ordained online from a place better than this just too prove a point. Most of the Bishops, Prophets, and people with initials instead of first names on this Evangelist list paid for a diploma here, it's even on there own website, just look under Alumni . http://www.ficu.edu/alumni.htm FICU IS NOT ACCREDITED BY AN ACCREDITING AGENCY RECOGNIZED BY THE UNITED STATES SECRETARY OF EDUCATION.  http://www.ficu.edu/accreditation.htm

As I read these reviews my heart is grieved. How is the world ever going to believe that God is love when his followers debate like this? A house divided against itself cannot stand. Why would people listen to us when we are debating just like the world? Jesus said that the we would be known by our love and last time I checked... love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs, it does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres and NEVER FAILS. If you don't agree with Pastor Winston, how about taking your concerns to the Lord in prayer? Sowing seeds of discord, judgement and gossip will bring a harvest of the same multiplied back to you.

Pastor Winston is anointed! I have been a member there for 7 months now and I have grown so much. After 21 years of being around, how else do people want this Ministry to be? Would they rather see the Pastor being poor with a small storefront Church? Would people rather see the Pastor begging for money because he can't pay his bills? When someone is leading the Church they better have something to show for it. Pastor Winston is bold and tells it like it is, but he always references the word of God. The Lord has blessed this Church and who cares where the money goes after we tithe and offer, God knows how much we give. And if Living Word had no integrity, which thank God it does, then that would be between the Pastor and God. We need to absorb the message the devil is trying to keep everyone from. If there are things that are missing from his message, we have the privelege of reading and meditating the word at home. We can focus on Jesus at home, even though Pastor Wins... Read more

I enjoy Bill Winston's teachings because everything that he teaches is directly from the bible. Listening to how he ties things together from the bible has given me a greater understanding and increased my revelation of the word of God. Bill Winston is a human being just like you and me. No one is perfect and it is a shame that people worship preachers like they are God and expect them to be perfect. Also, why are you judging this man? Isnt God the judge, not us? Anything that you hear a preacher say you should pray about it and let the Holy Spirit lead you. Also listening to a preacher is NEVER a substitute for reading the bible yourself. Winston teaches on lots of things not just prosperity but for some people that is all that they want to hear or be focused on. He teaches about the principles or reaping and sowing. What you sow in word or deed is up to you. How is it bad to teach that you can and should prosper in life by planting the right seeds and expecting a great har... Read more

Bill Winston is indeed a man of God. I can say this because I am currently a member of this church. While Pastor Winston or no man is perfect, the only thing he is guilty of is preaching and teaching what is already in the bible. If you have a problem with what Pastor Winston preaches then you have a problem with what God states all througout the bible. If the scripture - "I am come that you might have life and have it more abundantly" is not a prosperity message then I don't know what is. Your comment about two women fighting over a seat is something that could happen any where - at a basketball game, at a play, or even at a church. It has nothing to do with the person in charge of the event. My husband passed away two years ago and nothing but love was shown to me and my family at the church. That love was displayed and shown from the ministry staff on down. Who made you judge of this man. Pastor Winston's preachings and teachings are about gaining wealth so that as he puts it "so yo... Bill Winston is a false teacher. He teaches the same message over and over again (prosperity). There is no variation. He is presenting what the Bible describes as "another gospel" because Winston's focus is not on Jesus, but on how you can get all the material possessions you want. This amounts to false teaching, hence he's a false preacher. I was a member of that church years ago, and it didn't take me long to realize that Winston is a fake. Don't be fooled by what you see on T.V. That's a bunch of props. In real life, there is no love at that church; the people do not demonstrate concern for one another; they fight and bicker over who should sit on the front row seat. In fact, recently, two women actually got into a fist fight over a seat. This took place because it is indicative of the type of ministry Winston promotes and the atmosphere he's created. I have never heard this man preach a message on love, on character, on drawing closer to God. All he ever talks about is sow... Read more
