When I was younger most of the girls in school were watching this show. My mother would not allow me to watch it until I was a teenager. She did not like all the sex. For a season and a half she watched it with me. The espoides I missed I got to watch in reruin.

The lives and loves of snobby rich teens in Southern California? What a NOT great concept...

Like all of the perfect-teens-with-perfect-lives shows it begat, it should be shoved back up the assholes of the producers and writers who shat it out to begin with, then sealed closed forever with the most powerful bonding agent in existence.

Pure crap. No wonder America's teenagers are educationally so far behind the rest of the civilized world...

I gave this show 4 stars only because I didn't like the way the show veered off course into just another soap opera, other than that, I LOVED this show. The original premise of the show was about two midwestern teenage siblings trying to adjust to life in the glittery but dysfunctional world of Beverly Hills California ( I did the opposite and moved FROM California to the midwest and found the midwesterners not so welcoming) Anyway, I did find it hard to believe that these two were accepted almost from the first day they sat foot on that High School Campus. It ran it's course though after the departure of Shannen Doherty. The first year of college was o.k. but especially after college graduation, it quickly became convoluted and hard to keep up with. The story lines in the last season were like they were from an entirely different show. Another thing that I found hard to believe was during the first season, the kids acted as if the family was flat broke, trust me, if these paren... Read more

THE GREATEST TEEN DRAMA EVER! Even though I was only like 4 or 5 when it came out, I caught the reruns in the late 90's and loved the show. It had grea chracters, great story lines and the guys were hot (Especially Dylan). I love all the episodes with BRENDA! When she left, I think it went downhill! ANYWAY, I LOVE THIS SHOW! I WISH IT WOULD COME OUT ON DVD!

90210 (I always called it Peach Pit) was one of my favorite shows of this not-so-great TV decade. It was entertaining, and the characters were likeable. All the girls were quite pleasing to the eye. There were some weitd plot twists (like the nerdy Walsh parents up and leaving their kids).

One of the best high school/college dramas especially when you're growing up with it. It got to tangled at the end, but it was still great!!

This show had plots and other actors other than Jason Priestly and Luke Perry? I never noticed. I only watched for Jason and Luke. Didn't Aaron Spelling know that nepotism is bad, very bad?

I think this show was very educational for its time. They showed that even 'rich kids' go through some difficult situations, and don't always make the right choices. Cheesy acting, but overall a great show.

OK, this is another one of those TV shows that starred Shannen Dougherty in the beginning, and then the tv execs fired her. AND AGAIN, this show, once Shannen left, went totally downhill. Shannen's character, BRENDA, brought this show together, and made it popular from the very beginning. When are these people gonna realize that their shows suck without Shannen? She is an excellent actress who is totally underrated and obviously treated like crap too much. But like I said, the show went downhill after Shannen left and turned into some teenage nightmare. Hated it.

What can I say, this show was unbelievable. It had fantastic actors and great characters. I especially loved Shannen Doherty and Tiffani Amber Thiessen. I will admit though, once Shannen and Tiffani left I lost interest, but come season 9, all that changed. The storylines and the characters were better, especially the last episode, but I was disappointed that Shannen didn't return, she should have been there, she was part of the original cast, it wasn't the same without her.

90210 is probably my all-time favorite show. I've seen every episode and I never get tired of watching reruns. It had great storylines and teens can learn a lot from this show. It has so many serious topics, such as rape, drugs, weddings, pregnancy, alcohol, and they handled it really well. If I'm in any of these situations, I compare it to what they went through. I really, really love that show.

The show was so bad it was funny...the only reason I watched it was I knew I would have some good laughs at the most serious scenes (either done by Shannon Doherty or Tori Spelling) ... oh, and they all really looked believable as high school students...receding hairlines and all. it lasted WAY too long...was anyone watching this show by year 10?

Probably stayed on the air too long, but this was a quality teen show for many seasons. I think it is better than the current cream of teen oriented shows.

Boring, trashy soap opera. It doesn't portray teen life at all. I'll watch Saved by the Bell before I watch this junk.

Beverly Hills 90210 is a good example of a bad sitcom. It was extremly mature and dark, and never, ever made me laugh. It was extremly flimsy and boring, and the acting was over-the-top and just plain old used.

In Japan, this drama is also popular, and I used to watch this drama in Japan. I really like the story when they were high school students because I could learn something from the story. But when they became university students or adults, the story became just soap opera and boring.

I have watched it so often since I was in Japan, that I often imagined my future college life. I learn new phrases from them quite often. I like that kind of story, like who likes him, who hates someone, stuff like that.

A humorous show. I enjoyed watching the poor, over-exagerated actors. Having 40 year-olds playing 20 year-olds added to the humor. I was drawn to the show and got numerous ideas for my house from the beach house.

I think that no one can ever replicate that show the way it was done. The stars and everyone fit so perfectly. I think this show will end up being a real classic. Everyone will know I'm right.

90210 was a really good show. But then they all graduated and it pretty much sucked after that. THEN Brenda had to leave and I stopped watching it.

It was over similar topics every week. The characters I didn't like. They should've had more minorities. The show I didn't really like. I watched because of my girlfriend. I thought that it was pointless and revolved too much around the white culture.

This show was so long running that it was impossible to maintain the quality of the show. By the last year it was all about who was having sex with who. They also became so image conscious, the females were impossible to identify with.

Okay, I used to watch this show when I was very young. It sucked then and it does now. I can't believe it's still on the air. It does hook you though. You watch one show and you want to watch the next to see what happens. The acting is very poor too. It all and all doesn't ever represent real life.

This was a cool show because it really touched teens. It was like a dramatic reality show for a lot of teens. It brought day-time television to teens who could really relate.

I have grown up watching this show and have always been interested in the plot and scenes, especially wanting to know what's going to happen next. The people in it never looked like they were in high school. They need some realistic characters.
