Best Bay Locksmith

Guy spent three hours working on the locks. Didn't know what he was doing. Damaged front door lock with a screwdriver. Went around back and had to drill the lock out because he couldn't do his job (I know for a fact that the locks are pick-able because other locksmiths have done it in the past). Also told me one price then at the end included hidden fees and doubled original price quoted. When I told him he doubled the price on me, he just shrugged. Also I had to hold his tools and the flashlight for the three hours and he didn't even thank me. Avoid at all costs.

After being locked out of my house and borrowing the fed ex guy's iphone, I was put in contact with Best Bay Locksmith. They promised speedy and efficient service, however, forgot to tell me of the rap-eing (mispelled for inappropriate word purposes) of my credit card that would ensue after the locksmith spent twenty minutes attempting to break into my door. I called the company after he left to get an official price quote and was told that $145 dollars was "a good price" for it being the weekend. Call me frugal but I'll wait for my room mates to come home next time. Even if it takes all night.

I recently had my locks changed by these guys, and they did a great job. The locks look and work great, and the locksmith was highly professional. He didn't try to overcharge me, and didn't wind up messing up my doors like the guy who fixed my neighbor's locks. I was expecting to have to make an appointment, but he was able to come out and get the job done right away. Saved me a lot of hassle.

These guys were really incredible. After our building storage unit was broken into, we needed to get the lock changed right away. We called Dan, and he was extremely helpful. We scheduled a time for him to come over, and he even picked me up from work. Within 15 minutes, he replaced the lock, while advising me on the best way to secure the unit. He dropped me back off at work, and the rest is history!

were not on time. the technician was inexperienced and confused. price was not good He installed one deadbolt lock that was not working properly. i had to run after him and bring him back to fix it. he aslo rekeyed a lock but did a lousy job. I had to call them again to bring him back. The appointmwnt that was supposed to be between 2-4 pm turned into 6:30 pm! Worst locksmith I have ever seen. Stay away.

I was blown away by the friendly, reliable service and very affordable prices, I must say. I called Best Bay Locksmith to come to my house at 8:30 PM to replace a lock and was told they would arrive in half an hour. It took only 20 minutes and the locksmith was there. He gave me a quote and stuck to it. The work was phenomenal; fast, professional plus he kept me informed the whole time. He did not leave until he made sure everything was working and clean! I would definitely use them again.

Best Bay Locksmith were recommended by the Realtor that had helped me find my new house - she had great experience with them over the years, as had her clients. I needed the locks changed on my new home and they were there the next day. the locksmith was friendly, efficient and knew his craft. within a couple of hours, he had changed the 7 locks I had scheduled and fixed two others that had seized with age and weather exposure. He even found a work- around that allowed them to be keyed to the rest of the house, even though the brands were very different. now that's good service! Their prices were more than reasonable for the house call and the amount of work involved and I'd be happy to recommend them to anyone.

I called them at 4, for a 5 appt. Much to my surprise, they showed up early! Shay (the locksmith) is wonderful. He was patient, thorough, and clearly explained the options. He was done quickly, and their prices are very reasonable. They are a great company, with fantastic service. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND their services.

For some reason, I tend to lock myself out pretty often, whether it's my car or my home. I guess some people are just like that...?! I called them back in March because my purse was stolen with my house keys in it and didn't feel safe having two small babies and knowing someone has my keys. I said I needed to change 4 locks and asked for a quote. The dispatcher was kind and honest enough to let me know that I don't necessarily have to replace the locks because they can re-key them for me for much less than the cost of new locks. From that moment I felt they're not trying to rip me off and I liked it a lot. Needless to say that the locksmith who came to my house was quick, kind and did a great job! The best locksmith service I have ever hired (and believe me, I know a good locksmith, being a property manager)! Starting with their customer service which is courteous and pleasant, followed by a fast arrival and an excellent service, provided by Dan. He's a real professional. After showing me a big variety of deadbolts and door handles and giving me all the time I needed to choose, he told me the exact price for each one and the total price for the job before performing any work. The price quoted was very reasonable, comparing to some other companies that will tell you a price and then double it by the time you're ready to pay. For me integrity is above all and this is what these guys are all about! I would like to share my great experience with this company. I had lost my car key (the one with the chip in it) and had called 4 other companies. 3 of them said they couldn't make this key and told me I should go to the dealership, the other company said they can do it but never showed up or called back to cancel. At this point I was so frustrated and then, my boyfriend suggested I call a locksmith he knows. So, I called Best Bay and to my great surprise they said they have the right machinery and are able to make me a new key for my car. We arranged an appointment and Dan, the awesome locksmith, arrived right on time (calling me before to confirm).
