Beretta AL391 Urika

just bought a 391, a bit pricey but worth every penny! no recoil to speak of,reloads perfectly i feel sorry for pheasants this year, they dont stand a chance. best gun i have had highly recomend it to anyone.

I own Urika 2 12G. Did aound 500 rounds with light and heavy ammo, never had a problem. Love this gun especialy for the price I paid.($650)

Having trouble with my new Urika 2 in 20 ga. I will not eject 7/8 oz loads. Tried Winchester super x and Remington high velocity. Factory says it need to be broken in to work well. This pisses me off. I've run over 100 rounds through it one at a time because the damn thing won't spit them out. I've taken it all the way down and cleaned it twice. The tech dept at Beretta says it has to have 24 grams of powder to fully actuate. I'm not a rocket scientist, but doesn't different powders burn at different rates? I asked the tech dept what ammo they use to test with, and he didn't know. He guessed Federal. Dealer said run a couple of boxes of buckshot through it, that'll clean it out. WTF! Now they want me to buy $6 a box buckshot and run them through too. By the way, nobody is offering to provide me with these shells free of charge. Best gun I have ever owned

I own a 391 Urika Trap with 28" barrel. I just started shooting Trap several months ago. My first time out I was breaking about 5-10 of 25 and was a bit discouraged. The adjustability that I was unaware of at first made all the difference in the world. One of the old timers got me dialed in by removing the stock and changing the plate and now I'm breaking 21-23 of 25 every time. I still haven't hit 25 of 25 but once again, I just started shooting two months ago. The gun itself has very little recoil compared to some of the others I've shot. It has NEVER jammed, it's easy to clean, and it's BEAUTIFUL. I got a smoking deal on a used gun originally purchased in 2000. I LOVE IT. I think I'm a Baretta man for life! Some of the negative reviews here are obviously BS, this gun is awesome.

I bought a Beretta 391 Urika 2 XTRA GRAIN 20 gauge because of problems I has with the Remington 1100 I bought.  It is the best semi I have ever had.  It works flawlessly and doesn't miss a beat.  It is easy to clean unlike my remington. It only weighs 5.9 pounds with a 28 inch barrel.  I like it so much I am going to get the same gun in a 12 gauge.

where can I find a 28 or 30 inch barrel for my Bereta AL 391 Urika?

lightest and smoothest auto i have ever shot. the recoil is almost non-existent. quality is 2nd to none. what do you expect from a beretta? the best and that is the 391!

I have 2 391's they both have trouble. It is itallian junk as far as i an concerned like a alfa remeo. Itally should stick to making spaggeti. The receiver is alluminium for god sake. when it gets hot the barrel does not seperate properly and has feeding trouble. Get a rem1100. This is a 40 year old design and still in production today.

My son and I have three, an AL390 Competition, an AL391 Urika Gold, and a 20 gauge, "one of 1000" AL391. They are simply the finest shotguns I've ever fired, with the exception of my Browning A5, and that's saying something. I'm a dyed in the Wool A5 lover, who really, REALLY likes the Beretta 391. We also have a Browning Gold Sporting and it jams like a cheap toy. If an A5 isn't your gun, then get a Beretta 391, you won't be sorry.

I have 2 391's one is 4 years old shot over 30,000 game loads never had a problem traded a citori o/u for the new one, i made a bit of a mistake because the new one does not have the same stock the old one has a higher comb, did not know it but it does make a difference whan trap and skeeting? are the stocks interchangable?

This is my third Beretta. I have two 303 and a 391 Sporting Optima. They are very reliable.

I own a Beretta AL391 Urika Sporting Optima with a 30 barrel, and it's the most versatile, fantastic performing gun I've ever fired. This gun can be used for trap, skeet, 5 stand, hunting, and just about any other use you can find for a semi-auto shotgun. The design is nearly flawless, the gun shoots right every time you pull the trigger, and the Optima Bore barrel improves patterns dramatically. Yeah, it's rather difficult to take apart the first few times, but name a better gun in its class, I dare you.

A Beretta shot gun???? never knew they made a shotgun....Maybe they should stick to just making handguns.

I own a 391 and a Benelli Super 90. Having tried Brownings, Winchesters etc, the Italians are way up there. As an overall, light shotgun, the Benelli is good for light load shells - a bit sore on the shoulder otherwise. However, as an all round shotgun which is extremely dependable - I own the Sporting model - and versatile(clay, wildfowl etc) the Beretta is untouchable. By the way, I have owned the excellent 303 Beretta and this is an improvement - slightly more expensive but well worth the investment.

Wonderful, balanced and a real pleasure to shoot. By far the smoothest 12 guage I've ever used in 30 years of Shotgunning. Highly recomended!!

I have been hunting and shooting for more than 15 years. I have several shotguns as Winchester 101 pigeon grade, Beretta onix, 696, Browning A5 and Citori, Remington 1100, and counting... but i just got the AL381 Urika and this a sweet shotgun. It is the most nice semi-automatic shotgun i've ever had. Nothing like this-one. It's so nice to shot it as fast as well. I fully recomend this sweet shotgun for everybody who wants to get the best of the best. I love this shotgun !!!!!
