I love this product, not only does it keep my foundation, powder, and blush from getting chalky or smearing, but it really brightens dry skin without making it feel oily (a big problem for me). It adds a really subtle glow that just makes you look more awake and fresh. That being said this is certainly a product for the fair skinned. I let my hispanic friend use it and it didn't do much except keep her makeup in place. Also, I did notice that it caused another one of my friends to break out. She has a lot of allergies so you might want to test it first on your arm to see if you'll break out. A lot of people like to skip the primer step but I've noticed that it keeps you're make-up out of your pores and from drying you out.

I don't like the look of a lot of foundation and like the feel even less. I tried That Gal at the Benefit counter at the mall and fell for it. It's very sheer and lightly pink. I use it all over my face but a little really goes a long way. It does smooth over pores and fine lines without being cakey. Oddly, whenever I first put it on it seems like nothing happened at all. But after a few moments I notice that my skin looks very even and does have a nice glow and light sheen without looking glossy. I use it over Oil of Olay spf 15 moisturizer, then apply Benetint to my cheeks followed by a light covering of Benefit's Dr. Feelgood. I'm getting married soon so I've tried a lot of cosmetics lately trying to find the right one for my wedding day to make me look perky yet natural. This is it. I hope they never discontinue the product.

I did not think this product worked the first 4 to 5 times I used it. I did not think it made a difference in the application of foundation or by itself. With that said, I didn't like the thought of spending all that money and then not using a product so I continued to use it. It took about a week or two, but then when I put my foundation on without it on accident one day, I realized what a difference this product makes for me. I have EXTREMELY dry skin and while this product is not 100%, it does smooth my skin out and brighten it. I should also mention that I am very fair skinned. Overall, I have found the product to be useful and I have continued to buy it.
