Wed Aug 11 2010i tried it i rank it up there with grey goose. But not as good as the goose. It did have very little burn it was okay on the taste had a vanilla note to it. It was incredibly smooth... And by smooth i mean think water like smoothness. I highly recommend this to anyone

Thu Jul 09 2009I'd rank Belvedere a bit better than Grey Goose. It has a little more flavor and while it is not as good as some of the superpremium vodkas on this list, it's a fine choice for a gibson or a vodka martini.

Sat Jun 20 2009Belvedere is one of the finest vodkas on the market. It is smooth and pure, making it perfect for martinis. It is pricey, but worth the money if you are buying a bottle at the state store. However, if you are buying drinks out at a bar, you'll be overcharged and it's probably better to downgrade to something like Absolut or Stoli.

Thu May 17 2007Great vodka and makes a very nice martini, but like kettle one, not in my budget to buy for the house.

Wed Dec 27 2006I have tried many of the boutique vodkas. Grey Goose, Chopin, Kettle One, Pearl, Van Gogh... This is a strange beast. With a variety of foods, this vodka has a significant change in flavor. This might be the reason of many negative reviews. In a blind comparison with these others, sans food, it is one of the best. Chopin would be my second, followed by Kettle One, then V1.

Thu Nov 30 2006One, if not the, most over-rated vodkas out there. It tastes smooth, and has an edge over Schmirnoff and Stoli, but it's still not that good. We had a blind taste test with Mr. Belvedere versus Mighty Kirkland Signiature and the difference was astounding. Not only did KS taste far smoother than Mr. B, a 5th (750mL) of Mr. B cost MORE than a handle(1.75L) of KS! Taste 3.75 stars, value 0 stars.

Fri Jul 07 2006better choices are around everywhere. Not cheap even by Costco prices. Ketel, for example, is much cheaper AND better by far. Take Chopin, if U like potato vodkas, also from Poland

Sun May 28 2006Certainly holds it own at the top with only a couple other vodkas such as the amazing Hangar one and Grey goose. Sooo smooth and soooo good. Buy it and Love it

Sun Mar 12 2006Long my vodka of choice, it just doesn't stack up when you can't see the label. In several blind tastings I found it to be somewhat sharp with an earthy bitterness. 3/4 taste and 2/4 smoothness. Drinkable, but for this price there are much better options. Sorry Mr. Belvedere...

Fri Apr 16 2004This is a great vodka, particularly for martinis and other cocktails. It has a mild, somewhat sweet flavor which makes it easy to drink all by itself as well.

Fri Feb 13 2004Dont believe the other ratings on this sight. This is great vodka. As good or better than K1.

Thu May 17 2001this is an average product, with an high dollar advertising design firm's idea of what will capture market share as a bottle....if the vodka had any positive characters it might have a chance, but i guess the design firm went with the "don't offend" school of thought rather than taking a chance, and giving this liquid some character......move on....

Fri Feb 09 2001The only reason to buy this horrid excuse for a vodka is a pretty bottle. I'd rather spend the $30 on a bottle from Crate & Barrel then in my local liqour store.
