Sat Oct 17 2009Bell is the Worst. After every call to them for assistance... you are on hold for such a long time and then if you are lucky enough to be able to understand what they are saying, they try to sell you another feature. Anyone we know who has Bell hates the service and each person pays a different amount for the same features! We live in the Windsor, Ontario area and the channels we get are from British Columbia, Seattle, Washington or down east Nova Scotia. We do not get any programming from the London or Windsor or even Detroit area. We do not have access to any cable .....but this is the worst ever.....we are so dumb we even signed up for the internet and our phone service with them.... You cannot even send them an email to complain... Another unhappy Bell customer.... we should have researched before we signed up!!!

Sat Sep 26 2009I am Bell customer since March 09, installed TV with one free southasian combo pack. Service was terrible at first place as screwup appointment and not showed up twice. And now after 6 months I received bill with increase in charges up to $10.00 and when I called to customer service, a agent answering my question was too much rude, and they even don't know how to deal querry. I wish I not sign any contract with them. Terrible service

Sat Aug 15 2009I can't find words to express how horrible it is to deal with Bell Express Vu customer service. After using them for 10 years and experiencing nothing but stress and anxiety every time a call to their support line was placed, we finally told them to cancel our service and we went with Star Choice. Right away we had a pleasant experience, spoke with actual people in Canada, who we didn't have to decipher what they were trying to say. If you are deciding which provider to use, do yourself a favour and STAY AWAY from Bell Express VU. Your sanity will thank you, and so will your pocketbook, as Star Choice offers a far better value!!

Fri Jul 10 2009I am a senior and have to say that Bell Expressvu is, by far, the worse Company I have ever dealt with. Customer service sucks. You talk to one associate and you get one set of facts and then call another and it's all together different. Bell is much more concerned about their bottom line than they are about their customer service. Their service stinks and so does their policies. For some ten years I have been taking my receiver to the cottage which is something I had informed Bell about at the outset to make sure it was in order to do so. All seemed well and good until recently they when they began to harrass me saying that I could not do that and threatened to cancel my service if I did not comply with one of two things. 1) start up a new account which incidentally is what they want so they can increase their bottom line (or) 2) advise them when I leave my home for my cottage and they will disable my receivers at my home and enable the ones at my cottage. This option really makes n... Read more

Thu Dec 04 2008tired of talking to each and every rep from different countries??? do what i did and get rid of bell..go to local cable and rent movies..fixes the problem..and for those of you planning to return your receivers..make sure you record the shipment number as they will try and tell you that they did not receive their equiptment back and will therefor attempt to charge you for their loss...hmmmm not on my good books..thinking of protesting in front of every bell express vu shop i see, to inform potential buyers to go elsewhere...no service what so ever from bell nor good business practises!!!!!!!!!!!! contacted the better business bureau ( www.mbc.bbb.org )and guess what..they arent registered with them, looked online and only one complaint?? holey..me thinks we should fill up their comlaint department with bell express vu as there are over 40 thousand(40,700) complaints on the Internet against BellExpressVu. How is it possible they remain in business, what do their shareholders think!?? ... Read more

Wed Jul 23 2008I've been an Expressvu customer for many years and my heart rate goes up every time I have to call support. Unfortunately there's no way around it. Bell regularly drops subscribed channels and the only way to get them back is to call in. On average I spend more than an hour on the phone. Although the problem is common, they insist on going through a lengthy procedure attempting to show that I've done something wrong before finally agreeing to get the channels back for me at their end. Most recently I called once again after losing all of my timeshift channels but this time I was told that from now on I'd have to pay an extra $1/mo if I wanted those channels back. When I didnt agree I was offered a $25 credit if I would agree to pay the extra $$. I asked for a supervisor and was put on hold for 3/4 hour. When this didn't get rid of me someone calling herself a supervisor came on the line and told me I'd have to pay $1.99/mo if I wanted my time shift back and triumphantly told me that t... Read more

Tue Apr 01 2008Bell Expressvu is the worst company to deal with. Constantly sending me defective equipment. Please beware if you are thinking of buying their equipment. Customer Service, what service? I have been onhold longer this month that I have been able to watch TV with their service. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A 2 YEAR CONTRACT, it's their only way to keep you unless you pay their early termination fee. Also note that Early Termination clause is 1 year longer than competitors

Sat Jan 19 2008For anyone subscribbing to Bell ExpressVu, be aware that there is a very likely chance that you will not receive the product that you ordered. I paid $600.00 for the current version HDPVR 9242 and received an older inferior model 9200, which they tried to convince me it was the same product. If you do have a problem, customer service will not help you even though the error is there fault. And the best thing is when you complain the customer service people say that it's possible that they wanted to pawn off some old stock from the warehouse. I would not recommend BEll, it's not worth it.

Tue Sep 18 2007The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Unreliable connections. They bleed you - even if their service is bad.

Mon Apr 02 2007If you plan on using any bell service, it's best to purchase a bottle of vaseline first. It makes the reaming your gonna get much easier. Forget about bell, buy a viewsat and enjoy screwing them for a change.

Mon Jan 09 2006The actual basic service is OK but I have many complaints. • On some High Definition programming I experience random pixilization and voice out of sync when viewing through Super Definition output opposed to Digital Video Output. • Guide Updates are a pain in the a_ _. Every day when I hit the guide it wants to download the guide and it takes about 3-5 minutes (6100 receiver). • Programming is a rip off. Expressvu is doing there best to make you pick every package even though you may only be interested in 1 or 2 channels in some of them. If you have an old package and you want to make a small change, they make you change your whole subscription to the new packages available at the time (higher priced). IF you want to order some channels separately, you will likely find that they can only be selected as a “Theme”. They have placed specific high rated channels in the full Theme selections. Conclusion: I would be more than happy to try a competitor if they were around. I don’t know i... Read more
