Pretty tasty stuff, very few stems as well. I prefer chew to dip, tastes better, doesnt tear up your gums, doesnt get all over your mouth, and slow nicotene release. Ony downside was that I had to pay 8 bucks for 1 pouch!

The best chew made. It is much sweeter than red man and has a less bitter taste.

I used to chew this tobacco back in 1986 at the age of 14. The Stores near where I live sold it to me even though they weren't supposed to. I liked this brand of chewing tobacco but I liked Redman better. I give Beech-Nut a 4 star rating.

Good chew buy is way too sticky. If you dont chew the whole pouch within 1- 1/2 days it starts to get a wierd taste

I've tried Redman, Levi Garret, Southern Pride, and Beechnut wintergree...also tried some skoal long cut once too (mistake, I woulda been better off throwing coffee grinds in my mouth). Beechnut wintergreen is currently my chew, love the stuff, moist, clean, easy on the gumline compared to others (Levi Garret, which tastes awesome, but can sometimes be dry, and have lots of stems and hard stuff), it also tastes better in my opinion then Redman. I chewed Redman for quite a while, and don't really care for it anymore. I would definately reccomend Beechnut chew, tastey stuff.

To me personally...Beech-Nut is my main preference it's 'simply sweet' as I could best describe the flavor of the original blend. It has a perfect balance of tobacco goodness and sweet casing that doesn't taste raisin-y(which a bunch of brands use). It's texture is pure comfort on the mouth. The wintergreen is an occassional delight for those of us who appreciate the taste of mint:)

i chew alot of tobacco. i think redman golden blend is my fav, but this is one of my alltime favorites as well. it has a very soft texture and good, longlasting flavor. i put in a big ass plug while i was catfishin and it lasted for like 3 hours without runnin out of flavor. just as a sidenote, i gave my yankee ass cuzzin his first plug on that same fishin trip- and he puked 4 times. damn yankees

I use Beechnut once in a while when they run out of grizz.  I works for a little while.  I hate having to spit out that old leaf.

I noticed that Beech Nut modified their packaging and slogan so I bought a pouch out of curiosity. The back of the pouch explains some production changes designed to enhance the quality. Beech Nut is now cleaned well, and deliciously soft and moist. When I chewed, it was usually Beech Nut. It was not my favorite, but it was only $2.29. The flavor is delicious but the stuff doesn't get cleaned very well, meaning there are too many stems.

I've been chewing for a while now. Far better than dip. Dip tears up the gums after a while. I must say that this is pretty good stuff. I've always heard that Red Man was the best. In my opinion, it is far from it. Beech Nut has a little sweeter taste, and also far less stems. The Red Man I bought had more stems than any other chew I've bought. In fact, I would highly recommend Southern Pride (made by Red Man) over Red Man itself. Cheaper and better. Anyway, Beech Nut is great stuff!! Chewing it as I write this.

I had stopped chewing for a year then decided to start back again. I picked up a thing of Beechnut Fire Cured, mostly because it was buy one get one free. I like the strong taste but feel it could be cleaned better, just to many stems. I filled out the enclosed survey and sent it back to Beechnut. Not sure if there going to listen - I hope they do as the stems are many and hard. Here I am 55 years old, chewed Work Horse and Stokers Butternut most all the time. This is the first time I've tried Beechnut (actually bought). I tried some windergreen once when I forgot my chew and my buddy gave me a chaw of his. Can't say I liked it but beggers can't be choosers when your out in the field. Never bought it again until I picked up this Fire Cured. I spend a lot of time in the woods and enjoy camping. The taste reminds me of how I love the smell of woodsmoke on my cloths. Just needs to be cleaned better. jw

Tried the Beech-Nut Fire Cured and its got a real strong barbecue, smokey type flavor. really not a bad product at all but  IMO its best to leave it for occasional use. i got worn out on it real quick. I really like Beech-Nut Wintergreen. Its good all around and is time tested great stuff.

for a change of pace from redman  i tried beechnut wintergreen not bad at all . lots of flavor but not to intense i figured it would cover up the rich tobacco taste but it didnt . it accentuated it . but the taste does get old after awhile

I love this stuff, you chew it, get a huge burst of flavor, then just let it sit for a while, then chew on it some more. Great flavor, truly does have a smoot classic tatse.

This is good stuff. When I worked construction on one certain project, we couldn't smoke because of fire hazard. We all chewed and Beechnut was a favorite.

A fine, classic chew. Good flavor, lasts long. A few too many stems, but a good bit of nicotine. Beech-nut and Lancaster are my favorite chews.

Hi, I know this might be a stupid question but my dad has been collecting his "beehnut bucks" but when we searched the net we found nothing about them except this site. Could someone please tell me what they are used for? (is there a catalog, or is it a coupon for money off?) Please email me with any info you may have [email protected] Thank you, Robert

Beechnut wintergreen is decent, nothing compared to Levi or Redman, and the flavour goes away within 15 minutes. And it has more stems than Levi and Redman, being stabbed in the gums isn't pleasent.

Has always been a good chew. Real Happy when they came out with Wintergreen. I do agree with the "To Many Stems!"statement. Some times get a bag that looks like floor sweepings from the factory? Are there any restrictions on the BEECHNUT BUCKS? I buy it aby the Carton and would like to know if you get full credit when you purchase a carton. I sure wish I could get my wife off of that EXSPENSIVE MERIT HABIT! Gentleman Red Neck

Pretty good chew, little bit more nicotine than other leaf brands, but not bad. Not as flavorful as Levi Garrett or Lancaster, but good chew. And you'll get beech-nut bucks, on the bottom. Good Deal

Oh yeah, the good old chew - not dip. This was great. Very sweet and you could put a big wad of this in your cheek. I still remember when Beechnut came out with the re-sealavle puch to keep the contents fresh. What an innovation in the packaging industry since there was nothing worse than dried out chewing tobacco. This is really simlar tasting to Red Man.
