the thought of losing our home is scary. I have known people it has happened to. I have even had nightmares of something like this happening. I guess because it is so expensive to just survive anymore. It is frightening to me.  UPDATE: this has been especially upsetting in the last six months. Most people don't realize that in an economic downturn, it can happen to anybody.

I know there are worse things than being homeless, but my home represents security and that's important to me.

Sure, it would be awful to not have our home, but our country and our lifestyles have made us humans way to wimpy when it comes to our environment.

It's always one step away and always in the back of my mind whenever rent day comes. I've been homeless more than once. I don't want to repeat it.
