For those who do not know B.D., you need to stop right there. How can you possibly criticize someone you do not know? I know this woman of God and have had prayer from her for nearly seven years, and she is on target with the Gospel she teaches, period. I have receive more answered prayers in the past 7 years than in any period of my life. The Gospel is pure belief in God, holiness, and knowing my rights as a believer. You speak of judgment, but all you are doing is judging a woman you do not know. You are doing the very thing you are speaking about. In all the time I have known Pastor Hyman, I have never heard her criticize a person, a false theology, yes, a person, NO. She has prayed for healing for me and I have received it, over and over. She has prayed for deliverance for me and I have received it. So whatever you might say means nothing, I look at the fruit of the prayers and the wisdom of the counsel I have received. And for those who think you do not need the bapti... Read more

I wouldn't trust any minister who hasn't mad alot of people angry personally. If they all love you you're pulling punches and ignoring the true word. Jesus said he came to divide, you think everyone loved him? My favorite part is people complaining because she dare take a vacation. Meanwhile most television ministers are collecting mansions and luxury jets... And I love the humor of the internet. It amazes me that people took the time to write nice posts, most topics online are pure hatred. If you look hard enough you will find people talking about their hatred of Doritos for crying out loud. Does anyone honestly think that nice Christian folk spend their time online putting their hatred into words?

Yikes!!!!! Doesn't Matthew 6:37, 38, 41 and 42 say "Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned; forgive and you will be forgiven. Awful lot of judging and condemning on these posts... You don't know her heart. Only Jesus can be the judge of that. I once heard that the things we despise about other people is the same thing we despise about ourselves...

It sounds like some bitter people have nothing good to say about BD Hyman or her ministry. Personally, I have gained more practical knowledge of the Truth through her teachings than in 40 years of organized religion. For those of you who feel compelled to use a book that was written over 20 years ago as a weapon to attack her, you might want to refrain from blasting something that you really don't know anything about. (You probably would've blasted Paul for killing Christians had you been alive at his time).

Just watched documentary on Bette Davis (whose acting I have always loved) and learned a little about her as a person. That's where I learned of BD Hyman ministries. Since I'm a Christian, I was interested. However, these comments about the ministry make me wonder. I've heard that one will become what one hates. It sounds to me like BD may have become the woman she hated. "forgive us our trespasses AS WE FORGIVE those who trespass against us." I truly hope that BD is not adding to nor detracting from the precious Word of God.

Don't let the anger induced negativity from B.D. Hyman's book be a majority factor in your opinion of Bette Davis. B.D. claims that her mother lived in a fantasy world of her own design, well thats exactly what she herself has done with her own take on Christianity and fear tactics of the end time. Mrs. Hyman claims to talk to God on a regular basis and says she knows so much that if she were to tell a person whom isnt as educated in the Word like her they would think she is crazy...she certainly isn't off to a good start there. She also pronounces God has called her to teach God's starving lambs, I seem to remember Jesus saying in Matthew 23:8-10 "But you, do not be called 'Rabbi'; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren...And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ." Sure thats God your talking to there B.D.? Did He tell you when the money was gonna fall out of the sky?

If you are looking for false doctrine, youve definitely found the right place with BD Hymans ministry. I dont know what is worse, the fact that what is actually Gods Truth could have been very well preached as a result of THEFT, or that what she claims to be new revelation is completely unscriptural. While you are reading her book, The Rapture, Tribulation and Beyond be sure to have a copy of The End Times Events by Charles Capps beside you. Im sure you will find some very uncanny similarities, especially for two books written almost a decade apart. The sad thing is, the so-called stop the presses revelation which is the only difference between the books, is completely unscriptural. Forty days of glorification, caused BD, and her money-obsessed husband to stop the production of the book. Forty Days, which is completely unscriptural. She parallels our lives to that of Jesus, however, she fails to do so correctly. She claims that before God comes back to retrieve the Body of Christ, whi... Read more

I heard that the membership is declining over there at Kings Corner...really sounds like a blessed ministry B.D., are people leaving because the money hasnt magically appeared yet? Did you scare them off with your horror story of how satan has been trying to destroy your family since before time? Or are they seeing through your phony deliverance seance where only you and your church are good enough to do anything for people? Or perhaps they're getting tired of your pompous attitude towards those just beginning their walk with Christ? I weep for those under your spell.

In response to nosecret's comment: If it's true that B.D. Hyman prays codemnation upon anyone for any reason, that is most certainly WITCHCRAFT! To be a Christian praying for anything negative towards a brother or sister is extremely contradictive to the word and is straight out cursing someone. Jesus tells us "bless those who curse you, and pray for those who spitefully use you" Luke 6:28, and in Luke 6:35 "But love your enemies, do good...". Jesus as well shows us by example after being crucified saying "Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do." Luke 23:34. James speaks directly of this in 4:11-12 "Do not speak evil of one another, brethren. He who speaks evil of a brother and judges his brother, speaks evil of the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is one Lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy. WHO ARE YOU TO JUDGE ANOTHER?" in 5:9 "Do not grumble against one another, brethren, lest YOU be condemne... Read more

Some words of advice to B.D. and her "holier than thou" church. Mark 9:33-35 "Then He came to Capernaum. And when He was in the house he asked them, 'What was it you disputed among yourselves on the road?' But they kept silent, for on the road they had disputed among themselves who would be the greatest. And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, 'If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.'" As well Matthew 23:25 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence."

I have some respect for Mrs. Hyman for turning to the Lord and her earnest attempts at helping people understand the Truth, but like everyone else...she's human.  I'm disturbed about her ulterior motives behind MMK, the fact B.D. wrote the book to obviously rip to shreds her mothers name with anger and malicious intent, exposing her private life to the public and as well put some fame to her own name before her mother's death then taking the $100,000, fleeing to the Bahamas leaving their farm to foreclose after already committing her life to the Lord and then claiming she did it b/c she was trying to save her mother.  As someone who has listened to her teaching, this behavior is very contradictive as well as plain out wrong.  B.D. will be quick to quote you Matthew 7:6 "Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine" and follow with, "those who have ears to hear will hear" then tells you not to be concerned with those who dont listen and not worry or concern yo... I think its quite humourous that B.D. will viciously pray condemnation upon anyone who speaks against her or her ministry, yet that is the very method she used to get where she is...defacing her mother. As well I think its funny that her husband will sit there in church and complain about not selling enough tape/CD sets. Is it b/c he's worried about replacing the money they spend annually on a 3-4 week vacation out of the country to places like the Caymans where he was illegaly killing an endangered species of mollusks (conch) and bragging about it at church using the excuse, "I'm a hunter". Some hunter, illegaly killing a relative to a snail...Did u dress in camo and hide behind the bushes as to outsmart the critter? Or is it that he's still trying to replenish the ministry's checking account which he bled dry and didn't even tell his wife about? Oh, and word of advice to anyone who may talk to Mr. Hyman, don't speak negative words about Britain or Whales, he'll go off like a 13 ... Read more

Questions to Mrs. Hyman...Where is your oldest son? Why have you and your family decided to let the state care for him? If you and your ministry are so blessed why can't you guys take care of him and why does he even need to be cared for if he was delivered from his "hopeless manic depression"? Why do you always speak so highly and praise the existence of your second son but never speak a word of your first born? Is he really that much of an embarrassment? Do you think Jesus would have stashed him away in a mental institute? What a great Christian example to set for those you wish to reach.

An answer to ur question sdwr, no. Mrs. Hyman has absolutely no education nor has she ever worked a job. She will more than gladly admit to it and tell u she has learned everything she needs to know from Jesus...Wonder if Jesus told her to only fill her church with the "righteous" then teach them to stay away from everyone else in the world b/c their demons might jump on you.

It's great that her family was saved. and I am sure that her mother was hard to deal with. MOst big name stars are. But her view is from is a point of view as a child. I don't let my 4 yr old have ice cream 3x a day and she says I starve her. So her mother was probably controlling but in her book it was sensationalized to the extreme. As for who supported who financially I don't know. I also wonder has Mrs. Hyman had any real world expierence or any formal schooling before Becoming a televangelist or did she just decide the world was hers to save. I think the book was better as a fictional novel. Some of the stuff in there would have been reported had it been true.

I can honestly say that I have never heard any preacher or evangelist speak bad about another, yet B.D. will be more than happy to tell you, whether you have asked or not, everything wrong or shady about every other person of God out there and what's false about their doctrine. That conversation once took up the first 40 minutes of Bible study. Though it is important to know about false doctrine, if the one whom abides to it doesnt take the time to read the Bible for themselves its their own fault. I'm pretty sure Jesus addressed this issue in Luke 9:49-50 "Now John answered and said, 'Master, we saw someone casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow with us.' But Jesus said to him, "Do not forbid him, for he who is not against us is on our side." The last thing any Christian should do is speak ill or negatively critical towards any fellow Christian, Matthew 7:1 "Judge not, that you be not judged." Quite hypocritical for someone who runs such a... Read more

This woman makes her living off of the name of Bette Davis. She capitalizes & exploits her mother, while at the same time condemning her. While her mom was recovering from a double mastectomy & strokes, she chose to punish her mother further by publishing a lurid tome on her childhood w/her. BD is as vile as they come. My mom, too, was controlling, but she's also a human being. I'd NEVER treat my mom nor my worst enemy, as BD treated hers. I hope she lives with the shame & guilt til her dying days. As a resident of Charlottesville, I'm embarrassed she resides here.

I believe that B.D. Hyman has gotten most of her teaching from false teachers of the Word, rather than from the Spirit of God and His Word. However, I believe God will continue to guide her, as she continues to seek Him. I've been down the path she is on. He does not fail us. His complete Word is true.

Since she is the daughter of Bette Davis, I've been trying to learn more about her. From the Internet site she has, it sounds as if she believes you must be born again, but you also have to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit to get to heaven. The Baptism is wonderful, yet I don't think you need that to be saved. B.D. is a good speaker and means well.

This is nothing more than the self-serving rant of a con artist and charlatan who sees no signs and wonders and does not speak for Jesus Christ or anyone who truly believes in Him. She has no shame and apparently no conscience in profiting from her then cancer stricken mother. She was handed a 100,000 dollar advance for a tell all book on her mother Betty Davis. B.D. Hyman's claim of a miraculous healing from terminal cancer" is the grotesque fabrication of a sociopath who will let nothing stand in the way of greed. How easy is it to cure a disease that probably never existed in the first place.
