Fri Dec 28 2012My mother (now 98) and her family lived in Chicago in the early 1900s. Mom is a Cubs fan. My Grampa played on a Chicago city league with Garfield Park for years. When we moved to San Diego, CA as a Navy family, my mother took us to Padres games. I grew up with baseball although never really loving it...UNTIL these last few years where I am care giving for Mom and watching baseball together has become a seasonal past time for us both. It has bonded us even closer in a new and fun way!!

Tue Nov 06 2012Very boring, slow, and too damn long! It makes me fall to sleep everytime. How can people find this entertaining? I also hate the fact it delays my favorite programming. Come on, it's not that important. It's not like breaking news or something! Baseball is just boring entertainment. I don't think it's even considered entertainment!

Wed Oct 24 2012Evolving from older bat-and-ball games, an early form of baseball was being played in England by the mid-eighteenth century. This game was brought by immigrants to North America, where the modern version developed. By the late nineteenth century, baseball was widely recognized as the national sport of the United States. Baseball is now popular in North America, parts of Central and South America and the Caribbean, and parts of East Asia.

Mon Oct 22 2012I personally find baseball boring to watch. I have nothing against it. Just find myself looking at my phone more than the game when I try to watch it.

Fri Oct 05 2012Baseball is my favorite sport. A lot of people find it boring, but I don't think a sport requires violence or serious aggression to be considered a sport. I suggest attending a game before judging it. It's much more exciting than watching it on a little box in your living room.

Wed Mar 14 2012a great sport!! it is a combination between precision, accuracy, speed, focus and super fast reaction, and i think it can be the most popular sport in the world if its community take it to new places and spots around the world, great history and great competition.

Sat Dec 24 2011Baseball sports are quite popular in the world. This sport requires not only power but also strategy and team cohesiveness. I was very pleased when I saw there are players who can creating homerun in one blow, I am delighted to see they managed to create a hit in one game.

Thu Feb 10 2011It's a sport. I'm detracting one star because I find it to be quite dull in comparison to American football or rugby. In terms of the ultimate sport, however, I would definitely say that gladiatorial games were the best sport ever. Two men enter, one man leaves, Mad Max style. If we could bring those back and mix them with the atmosphere of a baseball game, it would be the best thing since sliced bread. It would also help with the giant economic deficits each state is facing and get rid of those pesky child rapists and murderers. In case you were wondering, that last part was a joke (sort of).

Tue Feb 01 2011I really would rather watch a ball game in person than on TV. I think television takes away from the sport.

Tue Feb 01 2011It's about as exciting as watching paint dry, but sure, it's a sport. There are two different teams, the outcome is decided by a score and not by judges (well, you could make the argument that any sport with officials, whether it be football, basketball, hockey, etc. is occasionally decided by officiating calls), and there is physical exertion, at least for most players.

Tue Feb 01 2011Ball ? Check. Teams? Check. Running? Check. Throwing? Check. Catching? Check. Score? Check. Yep.It's a sport.

Tue Jan 05 2010Speed, strength, agility, conditioning, and mental focus. Athletic qualities are not always rapped in the same package. Definetely a sport.....
