I don't often eat bagels, but on occasion I will eat them. And when I do, I usually spread on a thin layer of cream cheese. I think they're dull if they don't have something on them.

They make a great snack for breakfast or any time, but ONLY with that original Philladelphia Creamcheese brand and not that Light shit (you can deffinately taste the difference).

Bagels are pretty good. There's a Brueger's just across the street from the back door of my lab, so I have a tendency to go over there a little too often. Lately I've been addicted to pumpernickel bagels with olive pimento cream cheese.

When it's not done right, it's going to really suck, but a good bagel is definitely breakfast-worthy. Either gotta do a blueberry one plain or with butter, or do an "everything" bagel with either cream cheese or as a bacon, egg & bagel sandwich. Pretty satisfying on-the-go kind of meal.

Blue berry or the cheese one, toasted with cream cheese. Oh yeah.

Nothing like a Sunday morning with breakfast in bed consisting of bagels, cream cheese, lox, red onion, tomato, a good coffee, and the NY Times. Unfortunately, it's a ritual of the past until our kids are a little bigger.

Bagels are awesome - I didn't used to be too fond of cream cheese but now I have a reason to love it!

Bagels are okay, but I don't really like them for breakfast. Don't really have a reason why, I just find they make a better lunch.

I love toasted bagels with cream cheese or butter. Probably the best breakfast for the buck.

I didn't understand what a good bagel tasted like until I visited distant family in Long Island. Fresh, New York bagels are awesome. I'd only know the grocery store brands (like Lender's) previously and had no idea what I was missing. With a good cream cheese, a pleasing breakfast for someone on the go.

I like bagels, but only if they're whole wheat and they DON'T have cream cheese. I can't stand cream cheese at all.

Too me bagels just taste like bread. Stale bread. I'd rather have a doughnut. Most people spread cream cheese, something I will never understand. I hate creem cheese when I am 10 feet away.

Very good my favorite is plain bagels. The bagels soon become gross when to much cream chesse is added.

I don't eat these very often, but when I do, it is absolutely delicious with cream cheese. They're great for fast mornings, and a change of pace from cereal.

Mini wholegrain ones with mozzerella cheese and tomatoe slices are my favorite... with some warmed up tomatoe soup leftovers...

Like muffins, bagels have consistently gotten huger over the years. The modern day bagel will cost you a hefty 300+ calories, a lot of fat, and a lot of simple carbs will little to no fiber. To make things worse, most people don't use light or nonfat cream cheese and therefore add to the fat content of their monster bagels. So just turn your head and hold your breath so you don't smell the wonderfulness wafting towards you from the coffee shop, bagel stand, or whatever. Oh yeah - most have a sizable amount of cholesterol, too. The bagels that can still be sold at organic health food stores are still high calorie, and the ones that are lower calorie are usually too small to fill an empty stomach.

we all love bagels in our family. Especially with cream cheese. it is a change from cereal and fast to make in the toaster. there a lot of flavors to choose from.

My youngest son loves them. Personally I think they're pretty horrible, no matter what you do to them.

Heavy, chewy, and tasteless. Though more than a quarter of my ancestors are Jewish, a taste for these certainly didn't pass down.

Barely edible unless you put at least an entire container of Philadelphia cream cheese on one...then it can be ok...
