Sun Jan 24 2010I seldom have it anymore, as it's a pain in the ass to make, and I already have enough crap clogging up my arteries without adding more, but I was up in Cape Cod recently, and the people I was staying with made it, and it actually tasted really good, served with scrambled eggs, English muffins and butter, orange juice and black coffee. Took me back to my childhood. In all probability, it'll be years before I have it again, but I'm sure it'll be just as enjoyable and nostalgic an occasion as it was this last time.

Sat Dec 12 2009Up here in Canada we have it every day for beakfast, and not just with eggs, we'll have it with pancakes and waffles, French Toast, oatmeal, fruit salad and children even sprinkle bacon bits on their Alphabits.

Wed Dec 09 2009Tastes great (crisp),but I don't indulge in it much for health and humane reasons.

Sun Dec 23 2007I take it in extreme moderation (if I have it with breakfast, it's usually just one or one and a half slices). But this (http://www.speakeasy.org/~sjmaks/cereal/) is enough to put me off for a while. (CAUTION: Even reading about "Bacon Cereal" is not for those without an iron stomach.)

Fri Apr 20 2007Maybe a few years ago, I might have given this a better review. Unfortunately, bacon is the one and only thing that gives me heartburn, so I refuse to eat it.

Thu Apr 19 2007The smell of bacon cooking in the morning gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling. I limit the high fat greasy foods these days though, due to acid reflux problems.

Mon Mar 14 2005I'm not particularly fond of bacon; not so much because it's unhealthy (hell, that probably makes it better...lol) but because it usually doesn't fill me up or taste all that great.

Mon Mar 14 2005I love bacon... not over cooked but with nice texture. It's easily my favorite breakfast meat.

Thu May 20 2004Every so often I will treat myself to bacon from a butcher shop. When prepared to your liking it's as addictive as heroin and twice as satisfying.

Fri Jan 30 2004I'm going through the stage of having an English fry-up in the morning when I'm doing late shift at work so I can make it through the day. Bacon is a must and has to be done after the sausages and hash browns. It also has to be two rashers as well.

Sat Nov 29 2003Just the smell of bacon alone leaves my mouth drooling for some. Of the breakfast meats, bacon is the best. Bacon is tastiest when fried crispy with all the fat removed.

Sun Oct 05 2003IT'S BACON! :) Couldn't resist! Anyway, bacon is great, if its not overdone and is not too dry. Not as good as sausage links, but great when done right!
