I have not yet used Austin tree Experts but did have Mica come out and give me estimates. I have a couple acres of sick Post Oaks and had done enough research that I already had an idea of what could be done – not much. But still I was concerned enough about my trees to get out an expert and I left myself wide open saying I was interested in everything from tree removal, to fertilization, aeration, fungal treatment, or whatever could be done to save my 30 or so Post Oaks being heavily attacked by Hypoxylon fungus. Mica was intelligent , knowledgable, friendly, and honest guy - essentially telling me my soil was great, and my trees are suffering from drought and other natural issues that I can’t control – nor could he help my trees beyond what I had already done. The fact that he didn’t try to sell me something I didn’t need moves me to write a great recommendation for Austin Tree Experts,. I hired Austin Tree Experts to remove two large Ash trees. They gave me a good bid, finished the work early, and their crews were considerate and tidy. I highly recommend Austin Tree Experts.

In July, 2009 I had a very large (and dead) cedar elm removed from my backyard. Multiple branches hovered over my roof and entwined with the 300+ year old oak tree. I received three bids – one from a group I’ve used before when I needed quick removal because a thunderstorm put a tree limb installation in my living room ceiling, another from an exceptionally good arborist who told me that every tree in my yard was on the brink of death……and the third from Austin Tree Experts. Micah Burns was exceptional in giving me a fair quote to remove the cedar elm (the middle bid) and included reasonable quotes for topline tree maintenance that was necessary for my lot given that in seven years the only attention they’ve received has been emergency storm care. Micah was incredibly knowledgeable and understanding of tree care and human budgets. His team worked safe and smart – even in 100+ heat. I can’t recommend them enough.

My trees look great. I filled out an online form and was contacted within 15 minutes. The price was marginally more than some others, but Keith, my arborist, had great suggestions and I felt he was more knowledgeable the the others. Keith met the crew to go over a few details. His guys obviously knew what they were doing. Watching them climb the trees was worth paying for. I approved the bid and paid through their website. Couldn't have been easier. We'll be using their fertilization program service from now on to keep our trees healthy.

Talked to Keith. He was professional and personable on the phone. He came out the next day and said they could do the work the following week. Price quote was fair and good value. The guys did an excellent job, and cleaned everything up afterwards. I have 4 acres of trees on my property, and I will definitely use them again!

I picked this service based on a flyer I received in the mail and didn't shop around much. The price I was quoted seemed fair to me based on what I had heard from other people. I liked the fact that the estimate and invoice were available on their web site for me to look at. I also liked the fact that I was able to pay online as well. The services that they did for me were trimming and ball moss removal of a large live oak tree in my back yard. The tree looks very good now and they cleaned up everything very well. I would use this company again in the future and would recommend to others.

I contracted Austin Tree Experts to work on several large pecan trees at the bungalow I recently purchased in Georgetown. Knowing nothing about taking care of pecan trees, Keith was very helpful in explaining what needed to be done and how to take care of them, provided a competitive bid and facilitated the operation seamlessly. I was impressed with Keith's knowledge and his willingness to work with me and answer my endless number of questions. The crew arrived at the scheduled time, worked all day and cleaned up everything, including the gutters. I plan on continuing working with Austin Tree Experts to maintain the health of the trees and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

The company came out and provided an estimate of their services. They arrived when they said they would and then were very prompt in scheduling their team to carry out the service. Their team showed up early without calling us on the day scheduled (which wasn't that big of a deal). They stayed for two hours and were very efficient taking the dead limbs off of a pecan tree in the back. They were good about clearing the branches off, and it looked like they had never even been there (except for where they took the limbs of the tree). We're very happy with the results and would use Austin Tree Experts again.

We have used the services of Austin Tree Experts for four years. During that period of time, they have pruned our trees, cut down trees, fertilized our trees, and sprayed for worms. All these services have been done to our satisfaction. Both Keith and Micah inspire confidence when they are on our property with their knowledge and professionalism. The work crews have been polite and thorough. We plan to continue using their services and highly recommend them to others.

Came quickly out to review site and give estimate. Reasonable price and loved the billing through the internet, really made it quick and easy. A little late for the appointment but office was quick to respond with concern. Workers were efficient and did exactly what work I asked to be done, and I was specific so they must have had good notes.Would recommend them and will use them again myself.

We have many trees on our property, and new to our home. The trees were in bad shape and in desperate need of some major pruning. They charge nothing to come out and give an estimate, and will even print out the estimate on professional letterhead while on-site. They are technical! They have the only Master Arborist in Austin. The crew were well trained and very thorough. They left no limbs behind! Earlier in the year a fly by night door-to-door tree trimming crew (Schwartz??) trimmed limbs away from the house. They left huge limbs in the back yard, and I had to break down and dispose of myself. The ATE estimate includes hauling your limbs for you. Their website offers online payments and tree history. All in all, it was very easy to work with the Austin Tree Experts. Micah, Keith & Gina were an absolute joy to work with. I can't wait for the next visit in the spring.

My entire experience with Austin Tree Experts has been excellent. They have a great website where you can create an account, request an estimate, receive a proposal and approve the work you desire. The friendly, efficient office staff contacts you and schedules the day and time for the work. I also wanted to meet with a certified arborist to find out what kind of trees I have in my yard and which work would most benefit their health. Keith, an ISA certified arborist, was professional and knowledgeable. We walked through the yard and he told me what each tree was and the work needed. He answered every question I had and gave me some good advice on how to prolong the life of a peach tree. The estimate for the work was on the website a few hours later. We hired Austin Tree Experts at our condo office complex. With over 200 trees, we needed a company that could do a good job and come in on budget. These guys did a great job. They raised the canopy and pruned the trees back from the buildings so that they still looked natural (not stubbed) - a requirement, in my book, since I am a horticulturalist. The crews were polite and worked around our owners and clients safely. They were on time and went above and beyond to make sure that we were pleased with their work. We will definitely hire them again.

The first time I made an appointment for them to come out to trim my trees they canceled 2 hours before hand. So, I figured give them another chance and re-schedule. The second appointment they didn't even bother to cancel they just didn't show up. So if you want a tree trimming company that is as punctual and serious about their appointments go ahead and use these guys. Thanks for wasting my time.

On the day that they were supposed to come, I called them to see why they hadn?t arrived. They had rescheduled the appointment without informing me. The new scheduled appointment..? One full month later! The laborers "finished" their work in four hours. What they did could have been done in two. I spent too much time cleaning up their "finished" work. They left enough twigs and debris to fill a 30 gallon trash can. Two days later the stump grinder operator came. He worked for 45 minutes, with two breaks that he needed. There were chunks of wood all over the yard that he made very little effort to clean up. As he was leaving, his truck dumped wood chips all over the street. After booking appointment online, then confirming appointment over the phone, I thought I was off to a good start with Austin Tree Experts. All seemed in order until they failed to show up for the appointment, failed to apologize, and seemed too busy to make it a priority to get someone out to reschedule right away. Be ware, I when I asked how long it would take to reschedule, it was another week--even though they missed the appointment! Huh? When I asked how long it would take before they would start any new work, it was an additional 2 weeks! These guys are in no hurry to serve their customers as the other posts claim. I would NOT recommend these guys if you have little time on your hands and need to get the job done quickly and reliably.

I requested several estimates when looking into having my trees done. Micah came out on a rainy day, right on schedule and gave me a quick estimate along with detailed information regarding what would be included. The level of professionalism that I received from all of the staff at Austin Tree Experts, in comparison, to some other companies that came out was night and day and the prices were extremely competitive. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and had answers to all of my questions. My backyard is once again my favorite place to be, my trees look a hundred times better than before! My husband and I were VERY impressed with Austin Tree Experts. They were prompt, both with the consultation and the trimming. Emily came to do the consultation and give us the quote, and she was awesome! Very knowledgeable and helpful about what needed to be done, and what didn't. She even explained what I need to do to properly train a baby magnolia my late father-in-law gave me just before he died. When the three-man crew came to actually trim the trees, they were quick and professional. They treated all the open wounds on the oaks. They cleaned up ALL of the mess. By watching, I could see that they were taking great care with which branches to remove to create, long-term, the best and healthiest tree and canopy. I totally recommend these guys!

We have a huge live oak with beautiful, low hanging branches that we enjoy for the privacy and grace they add to the back yard. However, some branches hung too low to walk under and we were concerned they might break if we had an ice storm. In addition, there were other high branches beginning to touch the roof and chimny, so we needed some professional maintenance. I don't normally write reviews, I read them. In this case, I had to take a moment and say how pleased I was with the service I got from Austin Tree Experts. I had Keith come and give me an estimate and his prices seemed very reasonable. He gave me a completel estimate for my entire back yard, even though he knew I was really just interested in 2 trees in particular. He allowed me to pick and choose which trees I wanted worked on and made some very helpful suggestions along the way. We had to reschedule a few times because of the terrible rains we've had, which was completely understandable. Once they came and 'did their majic' it was worth any rescheduling efforts. The crew was in and out before I knew it and they cleaned up every single bit and hauled it off. They trimmed my trees beautifully and did much more extensive work than I had anticipated.
