    There are few and far between good things said about Austin Plumbing Supply and its owner, Bill Sullivan. I talked w/him and can understand and agree with all the negative things said about him. While I was calling to get information/help, he got angry, defensive and rude. It is truly curious why he would be in such a customer service oriented business when he doesn't know a thing about good customer service and doesn't seem to care either. If he is in it for the money, it will come back to him. I thought he was just having a bad day, but after reading many, many different reviews from at least five different sites, it can be proven that he is always this way, which is very sad for him and his customers. I am sorry I had to talk w/him, as it was a very unplesant experience and I wasn't rude to him, so there was no call for him to get rude with me. We will never refer anyone to him or his business.

    We were assured before our purchase that an item would fit. When it didn't, we were told to bring it back, but then found only it was only for store credit. We were accused of lying that it didn't fit, told that a simple fix was available to make it fit, and told that our plumber was incompetent. All untrue, of course. If you want to be treated as a valued customer, go elsewhere

    The owner calls all customers liars that return or do not agree with him. Since my unhappy and insulting venture into the DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH Austin Plumbing Supplies, I have bought almost $10,000 with of supplies for my home. I only hope this man (Sullivan?)goes out of business.

    Austin Plumbing Supply really came through for me. I chose a sink for my kitchen remodel and when they found out it was backordered through the manufacturer they searched all over the country to find me the product I needed. You do not get that kind of customer service everywhere. I would recommend this supply store to anyone. They had an outstanding selection and a friendly helpful staff. They had so much on display! It was great to be able to see a real example of what I wanted instead of just looking at online images.

    My experience at Austin Plumbing Supply was quite different than the reviews below. I had friendly knowledgeable service and my items were delivered exactly as estimated. In fact, I special ordered a tub and Austin Plumbing Supply was able to deliver it directly to my home. They had an extensive selection on display, and where helpful in finding any item that we needed. I would highly recommend them to anyone asking.

    Truly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Very nice to you when you're spending money, but try to get your items in a timely manner? Good luck. Owner called me a liar and tried to make me leave the store when I went in to figure out why I still didn't have some parts I'd ordered. I refused to leave until he gave me all the missing items and he had to refund for one part that he said they had, but couldn't produce. Never will use them again, ever.

    We had a very similar situation as hateAustinPlumbingSupply. He actually asked me to leave his store when I confronted him in the store. We eventually did a charge back with our credit card and got our money back for the items he tried to say we stole or misplaced. I wish there was more we could do to keep this man from ripping off more people. Please Do Not Shop Here.

    THE WORST EVER! I purchased a number of fixtures from this place and when I came to pick them up, they loaded them into my trunk for me and had me sign that I had received them. When I got home one was missing. When I tried to go back and get it, the owner Bill yelled at me and accused me of trying to get another fixture from them. I had already paid for it and he wouldn't even listen, all because I signed off on having received them! He literally threw the paper at me and said, "I'm not alking to you!". Rude! And no customer service! DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!!!!!!

    AVOID THIS BUSINESS. Do not expect ANY customer service, regardless of how much $$ you spend. Apparantly, based on his conduct, the owner is not concerned about retaining customers. The only thing you will get when you try to deal with him is frustrated. Check the Central Texas BBB website for a company profile/review. It is pathetic. After reading the profile/review, click on "Why Choose a BBB Member" icon and pay particular attention to #8, #11, and #16 Why the BBB allows the business to remain a BBB member is beyond me.

    Agree with your comments totally.  We purchased an item and tried to return it 11 days later.  We received only a store credit, because the store has a 48-hour return policy.  Further, the owner accused me of  trying to return a "special order" item when this was  absolutely untrue.  (Fact is, we took a second-choice color because it was the only one available).

    If I could give this place a lower rating, I would. My order took 4 weeks longer than was promised, they didn't deliver a faucet I bought but because I had already signed for the delivery, they refused to deal with me. And they refused to credit me for a part that didn't fit. Bill was rude and did not want to help resolve my problem. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

    Very bad experience. Canceled orders after payment had been made, lost items that the owner tried to accuse us or the contractor of stealing. Paid for a toilet seat that we did not get and the owner of the company tried to say that its our fault, he will be talking to our lawyer as it has become a matter of principal now. The owner is arrogant and condensending and outright rude. Overall I do not recommend doing business with this company.

    Very bad experience. Prices were not competitive at all compared to places such as Ferguson and Moore. Service was generally bad and they have a significant number of complaints with the BBB, most of which are resolved because the customer didn't pursue it further. If you really need plumbing supplies just use the internet and get discounts that are double anyone local.

    BUYER BEWARE! We made the huge mistake of ordering several fixtures, a tub, and other accessories totaling over $7000 for our bathroom remodel from this place. It took nearly three months to get the items we ordered even though we were told to expect around six weeks. It was practically impossible to get a firm delivery date on many of the items that they supposedly sell, so we had to keep postponing our project. The sales people have very little knowledge of the products they sell because they sold us the tub with an option that was not available from the manufacturer. They ended up charging us for it anyway and refused to refund it until they got all the back-ordered items we ordered in stock. This was nearly three months later and only after we had to file a report with the BBB and my credit card company!
