Tue Sep 22 2009Worst patient service ever. I was left in my gown for 40 minutes waiting for the doctor and no one apologized for running behind or let me know if the doctor was planning on showing up. The receptionist is very rude and always acts like you are an inconvenience to her time. Every appointment I have had they run between half an hour to an hour late and do not respect their patient's schedules. Also the fact that you are paying for parking! I will never go back.

Mon Oct 20 2008After reading the other reviews on here I was a bit worried about my visit today, but it went great. I was a new patient and thought the staff and Dr. Reddy were all great, friendly, and knowledgable. Dr. Reddy listened to my concerns about going on birth control and other things and I didn't feel rushed at all. I will definitely go back there. One bad thing was that they don't validate parking so you will have to pay for it if you are in the garage.

Wed Sep 10 2008Yes, the doctors are nice. When you get to see them. I've never waited less than 45 mins for my appointment after arriving on time. When you call, you inevitably get a machine that tells you their office hours are from 8:30 to 4:30, and that they are closed for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30. I just missed a phone call from the nurse with important test results at 11:45, and when I called her back at 12:00, their answering service picked up (where you can't leave a message). At 2:00, their answering service was still on. That's a two hour lunch. And this is typical. The guy at the answering service had the nerve to ask me "what's the rush?" when I asked if he knew when they might be back at the office. HORRIBLE. The doctors' quick, professional, and distant service does not even come close to compensating for the atrocity of this God-forsaken office staff.

Mon Jun 30 2008The doctors are great - but the office staff s*cks to be quite frank - they do not return calls, they do not confirm appts, and its impossible to get anyone on the phone when you call. All you get is an answering machine and they speak really slow on it so it takes forever to leave a message!

Wed Apr 23 2008I have seen Dr. Kodack for years, starting when she had her practice in another city. I'm so glad she moved it here, just as I was making Austin my permanent home. She is very caring and compassionate, but also very straightforward and honest, which is what I consider the perfect balance one needs and expects in a doctor. My only disappointment is that she doesn't deliver babies, but that does ensure her availability to her patients, so I can't say that's necessarily a negative. She's wonderful! A few posters had negative experiences with the management of her office, but I can't recall ever having a negative experience with them.

Thu Mar 06 2008I went to Dr Kodack in 2002 and now my insurance lets me see her again. The nurses and assistants have been very kind and helpful - and Dr K is always great. She never rushes me through an appointment and goes out of her way to make me feel comfortable. I highly recommend the office.

Tue Feb 26 2008Dr. Kodak was wonderful but the nurses were flakey. I couldn't get anyone to call me back, a follow up appt. wasn't scheduled, I was told I would have results for a very important test right away and kept calling and calling. Never got them. It's going on 2 months later. I was told my prescription was called in when it wasn't and the doctor would call me the following day when it turns out she wouldn't even be in. It was one thing after another after another. Don't waste your time!!

Wed Feb 13 2008This is the most frustrating doctor's office I've ever had to deal with. They have the WORST customer service ever. The phone system does not allow you to leave a message during off hours (I have called for an hour at 2:30pm in the afternoon and gotten the "after hours" line). Prescriptions go unfilled, calls go unreturned. They recently rejected my BC prescription at my pharmacy, but didn't bother to contact me to tell me why. I had to leave three messages and call 5 times to get an answer. When I finally spoke to someone, they said I was four months due for an appointment, but I received no call, no reminder card. Dr. Kodack was alright, but certainly not good enough to stay and endure the terrible, unreliable, and unprofessional service the office offers.

Sun May 06 2007Dr. Kodack is great but the office is miserable. From getting prescriptions filled to leaving voicemail (that doesn't exist) for making or cancelling appointments is the most frustrating experience I've had with a doctor's office. As long as you will never need them anytime in the morning, lunch, after 4:00pm or on weekends you'll be fine. But don't try the weekend service--somehow your call can go without being returned, even though it is only used for emergencies.

Mon Sep 11 2006Dr. Kodack has been my favorite GYN that I've used in Austin. I went to her for 5 years, and she was always very reassuring, thorough, kind, and practical when it came to my treatments and regular paps. I would still be with her if I wouldn't have changed jobs and picked up insurance that doesn't cover her services. I recommend her. I haven't been to her new office, but it sounds nice. :)

Wed Sep 06 2006Dr. Kodack is very caring and sensitive to the needs of her patients. She knew I was very nervous about getting a pap smear done, and did everything she could to make me feel comfortable (which she did). Her office has recently moved close to the Heart Hospital and Central Market off of 38th Street. The office is beautifully decorated, with new furniture and decor. I would recommend her to anyone.
