Sun Jul 13 2008I've been a patient of Dr Marco Uribe since I was 17....that's a loooonnnngggg time!!!! I had severe abdominal pain for two years, very heavy menses, and severe pain during intercourse. I had been to 5 different doctors all testing me for STDs, cancer, and some just said I was "unlucky." Puwey all over them. I had one meeting with Dr Uribe and within 5 minutes of explaining my symptoms he said I had endometriosis and by the following week he had me in surgery!!! Bingo! Pain gone. I have never seen another OB/GYN since. His staff of nurses and his nurse practitioner, Julie, are all fabulous. I have referred several female friends to him who have had issues with other practioners and they are all very pleased with Dr Uribe and are all still patients of his. My mother, aunts, and cousins also go to the other physicians (Seeker and Akin) within the group. The only cons: moving further up north austin and very very long wait time!!!! But well worth it.

Tue Jul 01 2008I had my hysterectomy with Dr Phillips in 2008 and he is awesome! He did a great job and I think Seton was the best hospital experience I've ever had. He's very thorough, he called me at home when I called his office to finally schedule the procedure (after researching it for a couple of weeks). I ALWAYS felt like I could call with any question. My husband really liked him, felt like he answered all his questions. He's very fun, personable, and has a great attention to detail. If you have to get the procedure done, he's really good at it!

Sat Mar 15 2008I have been going to Dr. Phillips for 5 years. He is VERY down to earth, makes you laugh, and actually listens to what you have to say. He delivered my second child and it went much smoother than the Dr. that delivered my first. I do not know much about the other Dr's. in the group but highly recommend this one. His nurses are nice and call you back quickly. THE ONLY problem is he is such a good Dr. that he often will get called to deliveries when you are waiting. This would not be a problem if you did not have to pay to park. That could change though as they are opening a new office up north YEAH!!! FINALLY!

Sun Feb 17 2008Dr. Seeker is an amazing doctor! He delivered both of my children, as well as the children of two of my sisters and many of my friends. He is so calm and comforting. You leave his office feeling like yours is the best pregnancy ever! He spends plenty of time with his patients and never makes you feel rushed. His office staff is equally amazing, remembering your name and details of previous conversations at each visit. I was recommended to Dr. Seeker by several of my friends and I would recommend him to anyone!

Wed Oct 10 2007Dr. Seeker delivered my first baby in Feb. of this year. He is a WONDERFUL doctor! At the end of my second trimester, I was going to one of my scheduled nurse visits, not planning on seeing Dr. Seeker, but saw him in the hall, he said hello to me, using my first name, and gave me a hug. It made me feel so good to know that he remembered me by name considering how popular he is. I had a natural child birth and never once did I feel pressured into having a surgical birth. He tries his very best to be at every single one of his patient's deliveries, but as a result, you will find your self waiting a bit longer in the waiting room for office visits while he's at the hospital delivering a baby. Bring a book...or your laptop (they have free wireless).

Thu Sep 13 2007My wife and I live in Hutto so it's quite a drive to see Dr. Seeker but it's well worth it. He recently delivered our third child and he and his entire staff are nothing short of incredible. He's very personable, very compassionate, and he and his nurses went above and beyond to make my wife feel comfortable when she was pregnant with our first (she was coming off of some miscarriages). Cannot recommend him highly enough. Several of my wife's friends have switched to him and they all love him as well.

Mon Jul 23 2007Our experience with Dr. Seeker was very medical and though he was sweet, overall was not good. Initially we asked all the questions suggested in our books, and his answers seemed supportive of natural birth. But eventually it was clear that a scheduled c-section was his preference. To be fair, I probably would have had a c-section with any doctor (first pregnancy, footling breech), but Dr. Seeker gave no support for trying to avoid having a surgical birth and seemed confused that I was upset about having surgery. If you are looking for a doctor who will support your desire to have a c-section, then Dr. Seeker is a good choice. If you are looking for someone who trusts you and your body, look elsewhere.

Mon Feb 26 2007Dr. Seeker is the best doctor ever. I had been told by doctors that I would never have children. I sought out to see Dr Seeker based on a co-workers urging. I've seen him for over 10 years now and I have a wonderful little girl thanks to his patience and dedication to helping me overcome my setbacks. Also, I can't rave enough over the nurses. They are all very knowledgeable and sweet. I feel like Dr Seeker is truly a gift from God with his wisdom and caring demeanor!

Sun Jan 21 2007We are seeing Dr. Seeker for our fourth birth. Previous to this pregnancy we had a late term miscarriage that went very badly. So, we needed an OB that understood our needs and would take precautions to make us more comfortable with this pregnancy. He went above and beyond and offered us extra services for our comfort. One of my favorite things about him is that he knows us. When we see him he calls us by our first names and always hugs me. He is genuine and if you are looking for an OB that treats you like family you have found him.

Tue Jan 09 2007I have been a patient of Dr. Cowan's ever since he began his practice. He is absolutely the best Dr. I have ever been to. He is very, very gentle and I have never experience any pain from those lovely yearly exams that we all have take. Dr. Cowan is very caring and friendly. He always takes his time to answer all of your questions. Dr. Cowan has seen me through two recent pregnancies and helped me through many ups and downs with my health over the last 15 or so years. Never during either of my pregnancies did Dr. Cowan ever scold me about the amount of weight that I was gaining and I delivered two beautiful and extremely healthy little girls. (And I am only ten pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight. ) Dr. Cowan is also very selective when it comes to his nursing staff and I must say, they are outstanding! Whenever I have had a question or concern they always have called me back the same day to help me, and they are always very friendly. Everyone in his office, genuinely car... Read more

Mon Dec 18 2006I have looking for a good doctor for a long time. Dr. Seeker has been the best experience that i ever had. Just by looking at his eyes you can tell that he really care for his patients. I feel secure with him and his staff is also the best. It is very rare to find good doctors like Dr. Seeker these days.

Wed Oct 04 2006I have been going to Dr Cowan for over 8 years. He delivered both of my babies and I have recommended several friends. He sits down at every visit and asks how you are doing, he truly cares and wants to know. He explains things to you in a way that you will understand, I feel extremely comfortable with him and would recommend him to anyone. His nurses are great as well, Lori is his nurse practioner and she is wonderful. If you need a great OB/GYN, go to Dr Cowan.

Thu Jul 06 2006I just discovered Dr.Cowan in my first trimester of my second pregnancy. I am extremely picky and have already gone through many bad OB/Gyn's here in Austin! The last one missed the fact that I was carrying twins until I lost one! Now, however, I finally feel as though I am in good, watchful caring hands. Dr.Cowan takes an interest, pays close attention, respects your opinion and rarely makes you wait to see him. In my opinion, the BEST OB/Gyn in Austin!!! His nurses are wonderful as well which is important also.

Sun Jun 18 2006Several years ago, my best friend had suffered from four miscarriages in a row, and was extremely stressed out and depressed about the possiblity of remaining childless. Thinking her chances were slim, she appealed to her HMO to refer her to a specialist., but to no avail. I suggested she change insurance providers to one who would let her go to a doctor of her choosing, but she was hesitant to have to pay 20% of the bill in an 80/20 split with insurance. At her company's annual enrollment, she changed providers, and they allowed her to see a specialist, and Dr. Seeker is the doctor she chose/came highly recommended. Today, she has 3 lovely children, as on the first office visit, he found a polyp growing inside her that was acting as an IUD. He removed it upon the next office visit, and wella, she conceived!!! Great Doctor. Highly recommended. Saved my friend's DREAMS and those of her husband and children!!!

Wed Jun 14 2006Dr. Seeker is the best, very caring and will explain to you what is going on or what he will be doing. Gives you the time to get your questions answered. I'd drive miles to see him and I do.
