I own a couple of houses in the Austin area and was referred to this company by some fellow house owners. I was told to ask for Henry. My calls were answered quickly and everything that needed to get done was thoroughly explained to me and the work was done with oustanding workmanship. I have no doubt that i will refer this company to others and continue to do business with them.

It always has to happen on the coldest day in Febuary! My heater goes out and the orignal installer gives me a 6 hour window to look at the unit. Who can wait that long witn the kidos at school? So I looked on the internet and ran into these guys. it was funny to hear Diane say " How can I make you smile" and the fact that she gave me a 2 hour window and Kevin showed up with a hour to spare!! The repairs were minor and Kevin did a great job explaning how the system falied and how it needed to be fixed. Not once did he knock the other company!! My heater works again and I have a service agreement so they can start saving me money!! Great job Diane and Kevin for taking care of Me and My House!! These guys also do plumbing repairs! They need to change their name on city search it was hard to find.

I was freaking out. Ask for Henry. I joined their Club thing btw

This place is probably the absolute worst A/C and Plumbing company in Austin. My grandmother had them out just to do a regular maintenance on both the water heater and the A/C system and they ended up practically stealing over $4,000 from her!!! A company that would have the audacity to con an elderly person out of large amounts of money for things they more than likely don't even need is obviously just in for the money. Definitely NOT looking out for the interest of the customer at ALL! I have reported them to the Attorney General and the District Attorney's office and apparently I'm not the first to do so. Look out for this company they are absolutely scandalous! If I could put zero stars for the rating I would. If you need an A/C or Plumbing company in Austin I would try Christianson. I've used them for years and they're the best!

Austin Air Rescue will NOT do a thing without trying to UPSELL you in some way. They sold us on their monthly service, which they were supposed to schedule a maintenance check and never did. We called to cancel this service and the said it wasn't a problem but then continued to charge us for months after with repeated attempts to discontinue the service. We are now canceling our credit card due to these charges! Please read all of the reviews and think about why anyone would be SO excited to get online and give a positive review to a place that fixes your A/C?? Interesting how most reviews are either 1 star OR 5!! Find a friend or someone you can trust... not this kind of company in these tough times. They will do anything for a buck!

It's Friday night and Ray is heading home from work and the office calls and tells him a customer's AC unit is draining onto the floor in the house and could he please take the call. Of course, said Ray and less than 30 minutes later Ray was at my door. He showed me what was wrong and fixed it in no time at all. A word to the wise, check your AC filters at least every two months to see if they need changing. My dirty filter did not help my problem. This was our first time using Austin Air and I was so impressed I joined their club for the maintenance program! Great work Ray and Austin Air!

Well we have what you would call a "Home Warranty", but of course they did not honor our contract nor did the contractor A.........R..........S.......... So we decided to look for a second opinion and we tried Austin Drain and Air Rescue and not only did they show me why my water heater failed but they also did a whole house check and found a broken sewer line we were not aware of (they did not charge any extra) Within the day they fixed our water heater at a reasonable price and we are going to have them repair our sewer line after the kids go to school! Taking their time and showing customers all of their options is what I expect from a Great service company!I would reccommend Drain and Air Rescue to anyone whos looking for a honest opinon and workers who care about your property!

We had an on-going problem with our plumbing due to tree roots growing into our main sewage line. We worked with several different plumbing companies in Austin, but Austin Drain & Air Rescue was definitely the best! We worked with Henry and he was extremely courteous, helpful, and thorough in his work! We are so glad we chose Austin Drain & Air Rescue and are very pleased with the job they did!

I hesitate to give them a good review because then too many people will use them. These guys and gals get customer service. On the 53rd 100+ degree day in Austin Texas how many places would you suspect to be able to schedule a next day replacement of the AC unit. Yeah, they did and were courteous, prompt and clean to boot. They act like they only have 10 customers in Austin. Good for me, bad for those paying someone else to put a marginal unit in for too much money. They're the best!

We called Austin Air Rescue at 6:30 on a Sunday morning and actually got someone on the first try. I explained the problem and was told someone would be out between 9 and 11 to fix. She was upfront on the phone with diagnostic pricing. The technician actually showed up 15 minutes early. Douglas was extremely polite, thorough, and made every attempt to keep the work area clean. We have a newborn in the house and he made every attempt to work quietly and not disturb her. He diagnosed the problem quickly, showed me pricing options, and then had the system fixed within the hour. Great customer and technician service and we will definitely call again.

I must say that getting a live person on the phone at 10pm on Saturday is very rare..I was shocked and when Denise told me should would have someone out that night I could not believe it. Even though they did not have the part to fix the problem that night they did provide window units for my family. The only negative was that the technician obviously was a bit confused by what he was seeing and made several calls to get help. Pete was great though and he told us he had just graduated from school. Even though he was obviously new he did all he could to answer our questions and assure us that he would get us up and running. At 11:30 at night that type of service is invaluable!!!

All should be very wary of certain technicians for this place. They did more harm to my HVAC system than good.

It's a long story but suffice to say I was promised a compressor would be replaced under warranty the same day but when I didn't go for the three hour sales pitch to upgrade I was then told it couldn't be done until the following day. With the house in the 90s we had to spend the night at friends only to return the next morning to find a message saying they wouldn't be coming that day either. I spoke to the GM who told me the sales tech had "over promised" and had been told to tell me they were fully booked. When I asked why the rep hadn't called and why, if the GM assumed that I had been, he was calling me a day later? Reply, "I don't know." I was then told it would be impossible to find another company to do the work that day unless they were, "A one man outfit with nothing to do." When I did find another company, Longhorn A/C, who came within an hour and were great, I called Air Rescue and left a message canceling the next day appointment. I still got a message the following ... Read more

I feel like Air Rescue tried to rip me off for $2200. I had a problem with my AC and Air Rescue was the only group that could fit us in quickly. The service tech spend 3 hours trying to find a leak in the system and said he couldn't find it. But, in the same breath he said my coil is rusted out and needed to be replaced on my 2 year old Carrier 3 ton unit. He also said that I needed to pay him $450 to find the "leak" with dyes and other methods. Obviously, if the coil is "rusted out" then that's where the leak likely is, so that effort would probably be a waste of money, not to mention dyes can cause issues with the compressor. I proceeded to explain my background in construction and asked why I would want him to put dyes in my system that are notorious for causing compressors to gum up and fail. Oh, I get it, to create more business for you later maybe? It gets better. They charged me $70 for the service call. He also quoted me that the coil on a 2 year old unit was going t... Read more

I called Austin Air Rescue in response to a card my mother received. I wanted to notify them that she has a contract with another company, and ended up scheduling an appointment to have my furnace inspected. This organization is dedicated to their customers and the pricing is very fair. Chris was very knowledgeable, very informative, and very diligent. He answered every question I had, and I was very impressed with the shoe covers and mats he used to protect my home. I'm sure my mother will be using them soon as well.

When my A/C went out early Sunday night I was very pessimistic in that I would have to pay triple the charges to get someone out to fix it on a weekend or that I could get anyone out at all. After calling Mary with Austin Air Rescue Calvin the technician was at my hous less that 2 hours after making the call. Calvin was very courteous and thourough and explained exactly what was wrong with my unit and even checked other areas of the system just to make sure that what he was fixing was the only problem. Calvin did not have the right part on his truck to make the permanent fix on Sunday, however was able to make a temporary fix with what he had on the vehicle and came early Monday morning to make the permanent fix. My dealings with this company was pleasent in every step. What was most surpising and pleasing was when I got the final bill. I almost passed out...not because it was high, but because it was less than half what I expected to pay. After Calvin left the house my wife and I mad... Read more

My AC was not cooling but only on certain days. Another AC company serviced the unit several times and was unable to determine the problem. Air Rescue was prompt, efficient and extremely knowledeable. They were able to determine the problem immediately. Extremely pleased with their service and prices.

I have just purchased a new home, and after experiencing what I feel as long a/c running times and the air not being too cold over this past hot summer, I decided to give these guys a call. I got lucky in that I got a card in the mail from them. My only regret is that I did not call before the summer had started. Chris was very knowledgeable and was able to visibly show me everything that he thought was wrong with my systems. His recommendations were exactly what I was thinking after seeing everything wrong.

I called Austin Air Rescue today because we had a air flow issue in our second floor. Originally, I made an appointment for tomorrow, but they called back later to say that they had someone reschedule, and could fit me in this afternoon. Chris, the service man, was on time, polite and professional. He completed the work in the predicted amount of time and afterward, explained to me the situation. He was knowledgeable and honest, and patient with all of my questions. Since they were running a special, I saved about $40 on my total bill. In my experience, they are a great, small company. I would recommend this company to a friend, and will keep them in my contacts for future use.

Their service is very professional. I called them up for A/C maintenance. Chris showed up at right on time. Engineer is friendly and knows his stuff well. It took some time(estimate 1 hr and 30 mins) to check A/C (external and internal unit). After their service, my A/C works way better than before.

I was very pleased with the service we received last week from Air Rescue. We only needed a simple fix, but the technician took the time to show me exactly what was wrong, taught me how to prevent the event from happening again, and then showed a laminated picture price book that had the repair identified exactly. I was completely satisfied, as well as impressed with Chris's (the technician) demeanor and kindness.

The best and friendliest service you will find. I called after hours and needed someone ASAP, other companies couldn't/ wouldn't fit me in for a week, or never even returned my phone calls. These guys were at my place first thing the next morning on time.

Your technician was very knowledgeable. He took his time and answered all my questions. He was very thorough and made sure I understood what he was talking about. I also liked the fact that he wasn't pushy. Your company was certainly everything I would have liked in a service company. I have small children, so I liked the fact that he knocked instead of ringing the bell while they were asleep. Bernadine D.

Chris showed me everything. He was extremely professional and I trusted everything he said. He was very thorough when he explained the repairs and I really like the book he used. He showed me the worn parts he replaced. My father stated "this is the kind of company I want to do business with."
