AtlanticWire

I enjoy reading The Atlantic, so I should like this app, but it doesn't do a great job of exposing most of the better content you can find on TheAtlantic.com. Since I can visit the site freely on my phone under the same exact circumstances required by this app (wifi / 3g / EDGE connection), I'm not sure what the point of AtlanticWire is or who they think will use it. The app has a couple different feeds: All Posts Breaking virtually identical to All Posts, I don't know who they think they're fooling with that Features containing drivel like SpatWatch, ClicheWatch and Breaking Ranks. I don't bother reading this on their site, seems a strange fit for mobile Atlantic 50 a fluff list that I can't imagine anyone pays much attention to save for the actual 50 people it presents. I'll probably keep this app in the hopes that they improve it in the future, but, for now, it has been relegated to my 8th home screen with all the other apps I never use.
