Asti Spumanti

I cannot stand the taste of Asti. I have even vomited from it. It is an incredibly sweet sparkling wine. Some people like it and I do not understand how they can. Primarily, I use French champagne as a standard for comparing sparkling white wines and Asti is nowhere near as dry as champagne. I can handle fruity whites, but this is not even fruity--just straight-up sweet!

Too sweet! If this is your first time drinking anything alcoholic then I recommend Asti, otherwise stay away. The real deal is Korbel. Bring it on! I love a good bubbly and Asti is NOT it!

I only tried this champagne once and I hated it. It was too sweet and tasted horrible, never again!

Gross! If you're gonna drink champagne then do it properly and not with this fake. Cheap and nasty!

Garbage wine. When I was fourteen years old this and caffeine pills were the girls cocktail of choice. The American equivalent of Baby Duck.

This sparkeling wine (chamnpagne) is a very good value at between $10 to $12 and only $6 or $7 on sale it is readily availble in you grocery store. It is sweeter & dryer than a brut & most extra dry Champagne, which makes it great for mixing in sweeter champagne cocktails. This sparkleing wine is a great low cost option for those on a budget & for everyday use to share with friends or family. A good $10 gift for the non swirl @ spit crowd.

I am not normally an asti drinker, I prefer a good bourbon or Irish whiskey, but I have found the Holy Grail of terrific Sunday morning sex...The recipe is 2 bottles of asti and not a bourbon or Irsih whiskey saturday night..

I love Dom. But for a cheap Sparkling Wine this stuff is OK in my book.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that I even tried this swill. If you have a very unsophisticated palette; If your favorite soda flavor is black cherry; If cost overshadows quality when you make your purchasing decisions...then I say go for it.
