Fri Aug 05 2011We found AspDotNetStorefront in 2008 and have worked with the transitions throughout the past few years. What seems to be an excellent shopping cart platform is nothing more than a costly drain of time and resources. We have spent thousands of dollars trying to debug this product and design it for production without much success. Recently, we have gone live with the store in order to feel accomplished with a product that has cost us more than $5000 just to get in "live" mode. To our surpirse, but not really surprised, there are bugs everywhere! For example, since the migration from the ML version (2008 - to 2011) to the new Multistore version (2011) we have constant licensing issues with multistore domains. Even though we have purchased the product and all domains are licensed, depending on what network you are accessing our site from, you may experience a blank page showing only that the product "May be running unlicensed software". Now can you imagine, having a fully licensed storef... Read more

Thu Feb 17 2011Horrible shopping cart platform and the support is just as bad. A dev partner bought it from a dying company and then instead of putting all the features they developed for it to improve it and make it competitive, they make you pay extra per item. So out of the box it is garbage and plan on paying a bunch more to extend which can be very expensive. We have spent over $30,000 trying to update the cart to be competitive. There review system out of the mobile features are horrible to customize. The mobile which was advertise as the new outstanding feature does not even have mobile checkout. But the new owners do have that and make you pay a monthly fee. The front end is also done poorly in a CSS and mostly in tables. Use Magento or Znode, I have been working in both and from a really supportive community perspective Magento works really well and is beautiful out of the box.

Sat Dec 18 2010Although this shopping cart no longer starts at $299, it is a much more solid solution than it ever was. We at Compunix (www.compunix.us) have been working with this platform for over 6 years now and have successfully completed hundreds of projects ranging from simple ecommerce to complex automotive sites and social networking sites. Over the years we have also created many add-ons and pre-canned modifications that can be found at www.ecommercecartmods.com ...great ecommerce platform! When RateItAll.com started, it was running on the AspDotNetStorefront platform btw ;-)

Sun Oct 31 2010This product is terrible. We very much regret our decision to purchase this product and would bail on it if we could, but we have spent so much time and effort trying to get it to work we feel stuck with it. The admin facility is cyptic, the documentation is terrible, getting outside technical suopport is extremely costly and we are uncovering bug after bug in the new release. Trying to upgrade to MultiStore has uncovered a host of hidden issues and costs (nearly doubling the supposed purchase price). In order to do a product install, we are required to write .net code ourself!

Wed Jan 07 2009I am the CIO at a mid-sized company that uses AspDotNet Storefront for our ecommerce presence. We considered both the SAP solution and a product called NetSuite. Both were similar but were missing key features that we required for Internet transactions with our customer base. Not only was ASPDNS easy to integrate with our current accounting program, it also saved us tens of thousands of dollars AND was more flexible to our needs. Add to that, the bonus features that many other carts failed to offer and you have a top notch cart solution at a very affordable price! Check out TrucknTow.com to see what we have created.

Wed Sep 24 2008This is our first experience using ecommerce software, and we've been very pleased with the product. The features are full, and they are continually updating the product. Customer support is great, with fast turnaround, and very helpful with both technical issues and specific feature questions. Their user forums seem to cover almost every topic we've looked for. Definitely recommend!

Tue Sep 16 2008We've been running various versions of ecommerce software for about 10 years and this is far and way the best product i've used. There have been at least 10 points in the 14 months we've been using this product that i've silently said to myself "Man, i'm glad i picked this". The featureset is easily the best of any cart we've used, and they are committed to continually updating this product. They're on the ball with security and auditing their product which is fantastic. Customer support is relatively quick, and very helpful whether it be a technical issue or trying to learn the ins and outs of a feature. They also have a really good knowledgebase and user forums for those issues. This is a product I can see myself using 5 years out because i know it will mold with the industry!

Tue Jul 22 2008This cart is very flexible with lots of built in features. I decided on ASPDNSF as my shopping cart after researching many other carts. And boy am I glad with this decision! I primarily chose it because 1)it had a lot of build in features. 2)you could easily customize it 3)built on ASP technology with SQl Server backend. I wanted a solid database that could handle large volumes as my business grew. This package has exceeded my expectations! It has just about every feature you can think of. No need to code it, just flip a flag in the admin screen and viola it's there! Another strength is the online forums and their support. If you are wondering about a feature or how to implement something - just search the forums and chance are high that someone has already asked and the answer is there. For the feature set, and the price tag, this package is a steal!

Tue Jul 08 2008I have been developing a customised solution for a client who required some features that are not available out of the box in any e-commerce solution we have found. As a developer I have found AspDotNetStorefront extremely flexible in its design and have been able to integrate my customer needs seemlessly. My client has handled the design changes and customised the application to suit them without my support and they have been very happy with the result. The cleaver XML model enables design and layout changes without the need for a fully fledged programmer which has saved them money and me a lot of headaches. I'm very surprised to see poor reviews on support, I have always found both the forums and official support to be very helpful and most importantly for me "prompt". I had originally started with another solution and changed to AspDotNetStorefront due to the previous alternatives poor support. I am so happy I made the change to AspDotNetStorefront.

Mon Jun 30 2008I have been designing my own ecommerce websites since 1999. During December 2007 I was having problems with my software on my website ElectricBlanket.NET. I looked at several ecommerce platforms to switch to and eventually picked AspDotNetStorefront. The features the software offered was a huge upgrade from the other software I had been using. I liked the software so much I eventually switched my other website AssistedLiving-Store.com over to their software during May 2008. I am using the ML version on both of my websites.I have to give the software and support a 5 star rating. I have had many questions and small customizations that I wanted to do myself and they assisted me promptly with each question. The software is easy to use and the addition of google checkout to my websites has increased my sales significantly. Their integration with google checkout works real well. I have no complaints I just wish I had upgraded to their software several years ago.Thomas L. Carlson, VP... Read more

Mon Jun 09 2008ASPDotNetStoreFront is a Great Shopping Cart that is able to do anything!!!! We have 3 ASPDNSF Shopping Cart Websites for sale. Contact us at [email protected] (702)260-8811 Read on for the long winded story of how and why we have them. It stipulates in the software contract that we have to sell websites that we created and not the software by its self. So to abide by the contract we are selling websites not licenses. The buyer will be getting a VERY bare bone website with the use of the latest version of Aspdotnetstorefront shopping cart. We only have 4 Websites (Licenses) and do not intend to have any more. How did we come to own them? We bought 5 licenses total of the software and were planning on using all 5 of the licenses for different websites. Once we started working on the first site we found out that the software was very feature rich and virtually limit less with possibilities. Found out that we could do every thing we wanted to do with one license of t... Read more

Fri Aug 11 2006Aspdotnetstorefront offers the most complete set of built in ecommerce shopping cart tools including real time shipping rates, bulk importing of products via excel or xml, multi-language support, Google checkout integration, support for multiple merchant accounts including paypal pro, authorize.net, affiliate tracking support, etc. There are just too many features to list and their development team is continuously adding more and more with each update. All source code is included with your purchase allowing you to make your own customizations if youd like. Their support team is excellent and offer answers to your questions in a timely fashion. Also, you can get live help by using live support/sales chat available on their website. Overall, this application is excellent for the novice or expert user and is highly recommended for business owners who want to take their online shopping experience above and beyond the competition. www.aspdotnetstorefront.com

Thu Aug 10 2006Don Ed Hardy could not have picked a better product. We deployed all of our stores with aspdotnetstorefront, including www.edhardyshop.com, www.christianaudigier.com and www.smetshop.com. The service and support has been exemplary and the functionality is unmatched. While it does take planning to set up a successful store, they supported and assisted us in every step. The result has been a 500% increase in sales over our old online store and a dramatic jump in customer registrations. All in all, it's been a winning choice. Anyone with questions can email me directly, [email protected]. I can advise on deployment strategies, consult and assist in design consultation.

Thu Aug 10 2006Great shoppping cart with almost all the features you would need to get started with your own commerce web site for a great price (which includes the source code). If you have special business rules you have the code so you can add them. The displays for all views can be customized using XML packages that can be edited using any text editor and doesn't require having to compile the site.

Thu Aug 10 2006Don't be fooled by the reasonable price... this cart offers all the features of the other major players for THOUSANDS less. And since source code is included, you can host it on the webhost or server of your choice -- no monthly fees or contracts. Flexibility, top notch technical support, and the ability to customize the cart in any way you see fit make it the best option available at any price. I've tried most of the carts listed here, and as far as I'm
