These toys are non toxic and safe for our children. Plastic and lead paint scares have been hitting the headlines more and more from imported toys that do not meet USA standards. I love watching children play and use their imagination. Pretend play is the best form for children to learn story telling. As a child I did a lot of pretend playing. (lets you know how old I am) There were no video, computer or hand held electronics. Just good old fashioned play. I guess these toys take back to my childhood days. I am not saying that todays toys are bad, just that we need to give our kids a broader choice of toys. Different toys build different skills.
