Greg and all his team were very professional and motivated during out Christmas week move. It was a large job that included packing the entire house. They started on Sunday and moved throughout the week to move our 3600 sf house just a mile away! They were very sweet and nice to my 3 children and were always watching to make sure my lab puppy didn't get out during the move. Greg was constantly checking on how we were doing (stress wise) during the move. It was great to have him involved. Sam and Ronnie were extra careful with all our breakables and NOTHING was broken during the move! I was shocked with the amount of glasses, china and collectables that we own! They even came back and picked up the boxes a couple of weeks later after we had unpacked some of them! It was a pleasure to use them and I would recommend them to any one. Jen

Greg was a friendly, singular character and very funny guy. He and his team were punctual, quick, and did all work for a very fair price. I'd recommend Greg to anyone looking to move in the Dallas area. There's no hassles involved and I was thoroughly pleased with the job they did. I will be enlisting Greg and his team to help me move again at the end of this month. Anyone should consider him first for their moving needs.

I would recommend Around Town Movers first and foremost because of Greg's (owner) dedication to his customers as well as his business. Greg truly cares that every customer has a positive moving experience, a task that most dread. The true way to know if a business / service is one you can rely on is how someone reacts when something goes wrong. My move wasn't perfect, but Greg made sure that everything was taken care of timely and professionally. Greg and his guys were great. They are the real deal and I'd recommend them to anyone that wants to avoid the hassle usually associated with movers. They got me into my condo up FOUR flights of stairs with NO elevator in 2.5 hours. They showed up and worked hard until the job was done. Even when they "took 5" for a break, it was more like 2 minutes and they were usually doing some light work during the "break". I couldn't be happier.

Greg was very professional. Even though he was extremely busy on the day of my move he was still willing to do whatever it took to complete the job. Luckily I was in no rush so we agreed to do the move the following morning. He was kind enough to offer a discount for the inconvenience.

Showed up exactly on time. Refunded part of money because they finished the move EARLY. Can't say enough about how professional All Around Town movers is. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THEM

Greg and his guys were so friendly, courteous and helpful....they took all the stress off me. They quickly, but carefully, and efficiently emptied out my apartment and then just as quickly, but carefully, moved the boxes and furniture into my new place. They were very helpful and courteous about where to place all the items. And when I would change my mind and tell them to put it over there instead of here, never once did they grumble. I think it says a lot when the owner of a business comes along to help out his crew on a move! Greg and his guys did a wonderful job. They were so nice and careful with my things! I will definitely use All Around Town Movers in the future.

Moving is so stressful and expensive. I have heavy antiques and big furniture and last time I hauled my belongings across town, it cost me $1700 with Two Men and a Truck (but it was more like One Tired Guy and a Sloth.) I was skeptical of the reviews here, because let's face it, no moving company has good reviews because most people who don't have a complaint aren't compelled to write a review. For Greg and the All Around Town team, I will take a moment to let other folks know I was really satisfied with their service. It only took about a half hour for me to realize I had hired the right guys. After nine hours of heaving and grunting and slipping and sliding in the rain, they earned every penny I paid them. I saved almost $1000.00 with this move also. The only thing that was worse for wear was a door to my icebox didn't hang right, but I have since replaced the hinge. Best move I ever had. Thanks, Greg. Give these guys a call, people. Really honest and hardworking.

Greg and his crew were great during our move. They were on time and took extra precautions to make sure our things arrived just as we had left them. I would highly recommend Around Town Moves to my friends and family. And I would use them again

I was planning a cross-country move from Dallas to New Haven, CT leaving 9/21/09. I planned to rent a truck and drive myself, but I wanted to hire professionals to load up my furniture for me. I called Around Town Movers and talked with Greg (the owner) the week before my move, we talked over my needs, and scheduled the load-up for that Sunday. Greg stayed in touch with me during the week to make sure everything stayed on-track and he even made recommendations on the size of truck I could rent based on the amount of furniture. Greg himself and one of his movers were right on time for the Sunday appointment, and they did a great job wrapping the furniture with furniture pads and shrink wrap then loading it into the truck. They even accommodated my request for certain items to be loaded in last so that they could later be dropped off at a stop on my trip. I agree with the other review. I was looking for a mover in dallas and came across wendy's mover review and gave them a call. Out of all of the movers in dallas, they had the best price, worked with my scheduled move and met me at the other end on time and with a full moving truck. What a concept a mover in dallas that actually moves you ! Great price as well.

I used this moving company in dallas on Sunday to move some furniture across town. What a great crew! The owner was there onmy move and supervised and loaded the truch while the moving guys carried the couch and my belongings to the moving truck. I have moved alot and used several movers in Dallas, and have to say , hands down the best movers in Dallas! I would tell everyone on this site that this is THE moving company to use. They moved two other houses BEFORE me on Sunday and were still on time. Amazing! Great pricing too and free boxes :)
