Mon Jan 19 2009This is by far the worst antiperspirant deodorant I have ever used. The product does not stop sweating and the fragrence does not last long at all. I usually use degree men absolute protection. After using that and then trying arm and hammer it was unbelievable how much worse it was.

Tue Nov 14 2006This is the best deodarant I've ever used. This is the only deodorant that actually lasts as long as it says it does. I prefer the "Fresh" scent over the odorless kind, simply because I'm used to deodorants having some kind of fragrance.

Tue Apr 04 2006This anti-perspirent (Arm and Hammer Advance) is by far the best I have ever used. It says 36 Hour Power and it DOES last that long. I wake up the next day, still smelling great! For the naysayers who say it does not work, look at the label! It has something like 25% of that Aluminum Zinc..... stuff in it, that is the main ingredient that prevents wetness and is what makes anti-perspirent what it is. Most other brands have something like 15% - 17% of that stuff and that's why this brand is POWERFUL! Plus it's time released. I have yet to find a stronger product. Like one other person mentioned though, it needs to be more invisible though, it says it's invisible but it leaves white marks on dark cloths. Other than that it's awesome. Oh, and it's very cheap! I get it for about $2 Canadian.

Thu Jan 19 2006Anti-perspirant review: Excellent odor and wetness protection, and does not irritate my skin. My only complaint is that if I apply it before putting on a t-shirt (my job requires that I wear black), I have to be careful since it tends to rub off on the outside of the shirt and leave a white residue (cleans off easily with wet cloth). I still recommend it, though. Deodorant review: Excellent odor protection. They used to make a scent called "Clean" and that was the best. The current ones are almost as good, but stronger smelling.

Thu Jul 03 2003I absolutely agree on the comments of the ORANGE package. I tried this because I thought it might help with the underarm odor problem I have. PFFFFT! Not only does it leave white substance on your arms and clothes, but the coverage dosen't last long at all. I can sit typing at the computer for two hours and the odor returns. Not worth it.

Thu Jul 03 2003This is by an order of magnitude the best deodorant product I have used in the past 45 years. I bought 12 of the product on a $.99 sale and did not expect what I got. It is the first deodorant I have ever used which totally eliminates perspiration odor. The only reservations I have are (a) the packaging is ugly "Arm & Hammer" NYC taxi yellow (but, on the other hand, all labeling comes off completely and easily!!) (b) the container is about twice as high as it needs to be, giving the impression you are getting a lot more product than you are (of course, you are getting exactly the number of ounces stated, duh), and (3) it contains an FD&C blue color, rather than a natural blue, assuming there is some reason that it has to be a color, rather than merely colorless and translucent. Performance wise, it is certainly better than any of the half dozen major brands, and at $0.99 for a generous quantity, it's also certainly a best buy.

Wed Apr 09 2003I bought the 36 hour deodorant and it did not protect me for more than the first 20 minutes after I applied it. Re-applying after that was unacceptable the white paste it became was terrible.

Fri Feb 07 2003I also agree with everyone that the old arm and hammer was so much better. I have a disorder where I sweat an excessive amount. With the old arm and hammer product (not the orange) I 'wetness' was cut drastically. Please bring it back!

Tue Nov 05 2002The stuff in the orange tube is terrible. Sticky and yucky. I loved the older kind. Please bring it back.

Wed Aug 28 2002I agree with all previous posters. The new orange product is shoddy and indistinguishable from the rest of the pasty junk that doesn't work. A&H did itself and its loyal consumers a diservice by discontinuing the old line of deodorant which was head and shoulders above the rest and left no residue. Ironically, they feel this new 36hr gunk with the familiar A&H orange packaging will resonate stronger with consumers. NEWS FLASH: WHO CARES ABOUT THE PACKAGING, IT DOESN'T WORK!!!!!

Mon Jun 24 2002I have tried virtually every deodorant product on the market. This one is the only one that has kept me dry no matter what I am doing. I love this product, and now I can't find it anywhere. The new Arm & Hammer product (orange package) is terrible and should be pulled immediately. Please bring back the good stuff!!!

Wed Mar 28 2001This is the only deodorant that all my family members can use without irritation. Now I can't find it in my shopping area anymore. Used to be at Publix, Cub, and Walmart. Not at any of them now. HELP!!!
