A lesser team would have been devastated by that last play of the first half and come out in the second half just happy that they had at least got to see Springsteen. But the Cards (especially the defense) kept taking it to the Steelers and made it one of the most exciting championship games in history.

After several seasons of failure, they finally made it to the top. Even if they dont win the Super Bowl, its about time they got some respect after MANY predicted they wouldnt even make it pass Division playoff.

They are very good I think they will bloom this season. also check out the titans they have Bo scaife, Vince young, Chris Johnson, Albert Haynesworth, and Kyle Vanden Bosch They're probably going to the divisional title.

Just wear the maroon pants with the white jerseys, and put a maroon face mask on the helmet.Personally I would have went with a maroon helmet with these new uniforms.

Like the new uniforms...but they do look like the falcons. The old ones desperately needed an upgrade.

As ugly as the team. UPDATE: The Falcons called. They would like their jerseys back.

Solid Defense, best WR tandem in the NFL, the best RB for a passing offense since Marshall Faulk, an aging, fragile quarterback, and an abbysmal offensive line. I'm thinking that Edge or Denny Green is going to flip out sometime and throw the offensive line under a bus (they'll have to take lessons from Peyton Manning). Number 2 in the NFC West, will just miss out for the playoffs.

First off, you are right numbah... I'm not going to be that jackass that claims that it's going to be the Cardinals' year. It's probably not. However let me also say that the Cardinals and many of their players are horribly underrated. Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald statistically make up the best wide reciever duo in the NFL with a whopping 2811 recieving yards. If Kurt Warner comes back next year he'll be fine at QB... he's better than most of the other starters in the NFC... that's not much of a compliment. If not then Josh McCown in my opinion could develop into an acceptable though obviously not exciting quarterback. J.J. Arrington will eventually be a good if not possibly even great running back, assuming Arizona can fix what is the root of all of their problems on offense... their line. Their offensive line is God awful! The only real bright spot on the line is Leonard Davis, whom many feel hasn't lived up to expectations. Defensively they are surprisingly in the top 10. ... Let's move the Cardinals back to Chicago and they might do something. They won the title in Chicago in 1947. They could play at Comiskey just like the good old days! Red is not too bad.

Poor Numbah. Now Arizonians can enjoy the angst and disappointment that the Bidwell clan subjected St. Louis to for years. Don't fret, Bill Bidwell will be moving the team to Los Angeles in a few years. Maybe they should just move to Mexico -- at least they enjoy watching Neil Rackers kick all those field goals.

The old uniforms were perfect, maybe the nicest of the classic uniforms. The guy who designed the new Siegfried and Roy jumpsuits should be shot.

love the colors (red, white, black, with a splash of yellow on the logo), but have you ever seen a cardinal that looked that angry? The cardinals need a name change and uniform/mascot more reflective of AZ

Just wretched, yet again. Can anyone in their front office make a decision? Can anyone on the sidelines call a play? And can anyone on the field execute? Apparently not.

The only good thing about going to a Cards' game is that it is not hard to find a good seat in the stadium. They are usually empty by half-time. UPDATE: They still have a chance at winnning the division and making the wild card, at 5-9. Something is not right here. UPDATE: They lost to the Seahawks last night, no playoffs for Cardinals, again. UPDATE: I have two members of the Cards on my Fantasy Football Team. Fitzgerald, and the player that has scored most of the teams point so far, Neil Rackers!!!

The new uni's look really rad compared to the previous ones. The name cardinals is to boring. Redbirds, flames, sunsets, and desserts would be pretty cool. I like Arizona Sunsets.

What a huge disappointment. I had rather hoped the team might take a cue from the old Arizona Wranglers and add copper and navy blue to the cardinal red and black, but whatever the color scheme this ensemble is a disaster. The sleeve and pants striping are worse than Atlanta's, the logo above the name on the back of the jersey looks terrible, as does the red name panel on the white jersey. The numeral font is not completely offensive and the helmet is fine, but they had a chance to create something exceptional here, and they blew it. What a shame.

No team is more in need of an update. I know that they are updating the logo and uniforms for 2005 but I sure hope they are creative and get rid of the white helmets.

I love these...the red jersey witn no flare (block nember and nothing else anywhere on them) is all class. I think the logo is dignified, I'm sad it has been updated and I'm scared to see what the upcoming new uni's look like...another Bengal disaster on the horizon.

A different shade of red would help. The scowling birds head helmet logo is good. Another plus- no silly helmet stripes down the middle (a la Tennessee).

how could you not love the classics? my theory is that the play on the field has a lot to do with the rating. dont let a crappy team hide the fact that these unis are awesome. could lose the red pants with red shirts look though.

So much promise and talent, so little resulting success. Hopefully Dennis Green can make a big shoeprint on the keister of this club and get some better results. UPDATE: As long as Bidwell holds the financial strings, not even Dennis Green can shake some life into this team.

Let me be the FIRST to say that this team has the most loyal fans in the NFL. There may not be many of them, but true Cardinals fans are one-of-a-kind. They never give up hope, they don't dwell on the fact that our only football championship came in 1947 b/f the formation of the NFL. What we dwell on is the FUTURE. We're 4-6, got a great coach, and an awesome running back whom NO ONE thought he would be on his way to getting 1,000 yards as a Cardinal, including me. We have quite a future ahead of us, that much is clear. The real question here is who WOULDN't want to be a big red fan??? -Cardinals fan for LIFE. GO CARDINALS.

Arizona? How many cardinals do you think you'd see flying around in 110 degree desert? Like someone else said on this site, they should have re-booted the whole name/unis when they moved in 1987. Howzabout Sundewvils, or Phoenix CARDINALS is a great name for a baseball team. Leave it in St. Louis.

Team sucks. I thought may be they could suprise some people in getting may close to .500 but losing Shipp, and a questionable injury to their top receiver Boldin is making them look more hopeless. Must suck to be a Cardinals fan. At least the weather is nice there

Being an Arizona native, in my opinion the first mistake made was the fact that they retained the name of old without giving the new AZ team an identity for itself. Who wants a washed up team nobody else wants? This whole AZ franchise is F.U.B.A.R! Almost every game I have seen in Tempe has more fans rooting for the opposing team than the sucky cardinals. Pure idiocy.

These uniforms actually have a chance if just for one simple, but major change that would really be the uniforms alive. Change the grey face mask on the white helmet to a red face mask on the white helmet. I think they would be amazed how much better the current drab helmet would look.

The Cardinals may not have much tradition and success - but their uniforms certainly do! The white helmets with the beautiful cardinal emblem are unique and have been used since the early 60's. (If it's not broken...)The Cardinals have resisted changing their jerseys (black a popular choice nowadays) I think they have sharp uniforms that don't need to change - now for the winning to happen.

Pro football is a flashy game which means I generally prefer the flashier uniforms. As a result the uniforms worn by the Arizona Cardinals fall towards the bottom of my preference list. The red and white uniforms are just flat, boring, uninspiring and not unique. Moreover, the team's plain white helmet with the cardinal profile is simply dull. As another comment noted, this franchise should have changed its mascot and colors when the team moved from St. Louis to Arizona. Cardinals belong to St. Louis (ie the baseball team).

When did teams start wearing the same color of pants as on the tops of the socks? The Cardinals used to have a black-red-black separated stripes on the socks when they wore the cardinal red pants. But now, in similar fashion as teams like the Titans, Saints, and Bengals for example - teams are matching the socks color with the pant color and there is no real appropriate separation. This irritates me and I wonder when this trend began. One other note about the Cardinals - they are the only team left with a face mask color (gray) that does not match thier team colors.

Holy crap, these guys let Plummer go and think that a shot Emmitt Smith (who's gone for probably the year) and an average and very old Jeff Blake are going to bring them life? This team has always been awful, it seems, and there is no talent anywhere here. Maybe Ryan Leaf could come back since their penchance for losing seems never to be appeased. When a team is this lousy for this long, usually it's time to move to another city. Baghdad could use an NFL team!
