By far, the singlest best, most reliable, easiest-to-use, best-looking, best-styling, best-performing, fastest, most intuitive and best practical functioning tool I have ever owned.  Oh, how I miss my G5!

I decided to come in out of the cold and bought Mac G5. I stuck in a gig of ram and man, oh, man--what a machine. This machine is first class! I suppose it has 40 gig in the HD. I did not have any memory heating problems as the others had. Hmmm! Maybe, I had a newer version.  Anyhow, this is probably the greatest machine on the market today!

Agreed. I had the same problem with memory. Third party ram was the problem. Apple's memory fixed the problem. And they came to my house to fix it.

I love my Imac G5 (had it for over a year now) and I love OS X (Panther). It's a very stable system. However, my Imac had a glitch with overheating when extra RAM was put in, and after being in the shop twice, I finally was told by a tech guy at Apple to remove the extra RAM. No problems now, but I sure miss the extra RAM memory! This is why I give it 4 stars. I love that I don't have to worry about viruses, adware, spyware, etc like the Windows Machines have. The set up is intuitive. We have a Dell machine in our home, and we've got nothing but problems with the Operating system, etc.
