Apartment Movers

Apartment Movers was great for me. They were clear about all that needed to be done on my part and what they would do on theirs. I liked that the estimate, pricing and explanation and most importantly, the move was quickly done. I particulary liked how thorough Jon was. I would recommend MM - they eliminate the worry and stress of moving.

Incredible, Reliable and Dependable Service! I am in the relocation business. I provide relocation service for high end executives, celebrities and athletes. As part of the service, I must refer moving service providers. In the past, I have partnered with high profile, international carriers and I have almost been put out of business, because of unprofessional, sloppy and overall poor service. On every move, I was experiencing claims that were costing me my business because my service provides are an extension of my business...so their mistakes are my mistakes. I had considered removing the moving services referral from my menu of services when someone suggested I try New York Best Movers. I can say New York Best Movers saved that part of my business! I have referred New York Best Movers on 8 occasions and have not had 1 complaint!!! That is unheard of!!! I greatly appreciate their service and will use and recommend them ALWAYS

I've moved more than the average person over the last few years. I've hired many movers both in and out of New York. This was BY FAR the most professional and reasonably priced move I've ever had. The care given to my belongings was outstanding. The professionalism of the foreman and the crew was beyond anything I've experienced EVER in a move. The quote given over the phone practically matched the actual move to the dollar. The boxes were not overpriced; no extra materials were pushed on me nor were there any hidden charges. Each step of the move was explained to me and I signed for it along with the foreman. My pieces were wrapped with the utmost care. I was extremely impressed and would HIGHLY recommend this company Apartment Movers to anyone needing any moving or storage job.

These guys were the best possible company I could have chosen to move my family and I from New York City. We interviewed several companies in our residence and several others over the phone and via email. 3 van lines came out to our home to give us those estimates and their estimates were all over the map in regards of volume and pricing from 11,000 pounds all the way up to 19,000 pounds and these are the national chains including North American Van Lines and Paul Arpin being the highest in terms of weight. I emailed over their estimates to my moving coordinator at New York Best Movers Mike Lenny and he went over the paperwork and entered their inventory list into his database and came up with a weight estimate of 14,600 pounds and with the packing added the total price came to $9,000.00 when the others were all over $12,000!! The first thing that happened is that the wrong trailer was sent to my house. The 1st set of movers were not prepared to do the move in the promised time slot of 7AM-12PM. The correct movers didn't show up until 1:30 and didn't finish my move and my in-laws until 9PM. That is 7 and a half hours. I had scheduled my dish network guy to be at my new residence between 3PM-5PM. I got lucky because the dish network guy actually did stay for an extra hour out of his time to wait for the movers to do what they were supposed to have done between 7AM-12PM. I wasn't so lucky with the carpet cleaner I scheduled to be at my residence at 6:30PM which should have been more than enough time to have all mine and my in-laws stuff out of the residence. The 2nd truck that was brought to my residence couldn't fit all my stuff and my-in laws stuff. It took 5 trips to move all the stuff that I listed well in advance for the move to take place. I had a scheduled move and a quote from a list I provide - since I had and extra bag of sports equipment and few other small items - they added 70.08 to my move - It was also in cash for the whole move. I moved from the second floor to a first floor apartment - since the stairs from the second floor had a platform to change directions to get down to the ground level - they considered that two flights of stairs - 10 steps each - a single flight of stairs is usually 20 to 25 stairs. I will never use them again and have filed a complaint with Better Business. I don't recommend them for any move.

Have used this company several times and never had a problem. Service has always been great, on time and courteous.

I had the absoulute worst experience with both the movers and the Phoenix manager. First they charged me for an hour that should not have been charged for and to top off the move, one of the movers URINATED in my front yard. No joke - have two other people working in the house to verify this. DO NOT USE. Manager is also non-sympathetic and doesn't care.

Day 1: I had a move scheduled with The Apartment Movers for JulyJuly 26th from 12-4. I received a phone call from one of their drivers at 604pm stating that he would not be at the move that day, but would reschedule for the next morning at 8am. I called the number above which is not a local number, it goes to their sales office in Texas. I eventually spoke with a Supervisor who informed me that they can't guarentee a time for the move due to different variables like traffic and weather. I was also informed that the loval dispatch office here in Phoenix was not able to find the equipment that morning and that the driver that was schedule to do my move did not get started untill 330pm. I find that interesting since he was supposed to be at my apartment between 12-4. This supervisor stated that the move would be reschedule for the first thing, 7-9am, on the 27th.
