I have used this on many white pups and when used correctly it can work wonders. I did ask my holistic vet about the ingredients and he says it's perfectly safe. If you read the directions it says to stop using after a certain amount of time (don't have bottle with me but I think it's 6 months). So technically you don't keep them on the tylosin for an undetermined amount of time. My vet didn't mention it's an antibiotic so I will be researching this more. However I've seen this work very well and sell it frequently to customers who's dogs have been groomed and want to know why the stains are still there. Many come back raving, so I'm convinced.

I own a 100% pure white shih tzu. I bought the smallest size bottle since I was skepitcal. I used it for several weeks and noticed that the tear stains were improving but not drastically and they didn't stop altogether. I later did a little research on this product and discovered it had Tylosin in it, which is an antibotic. neither the bottle or website specifies exactly how much is in it. I personally would like to how much of this drug my dog was reciving. I woun't use angel eyes again as I think its ridiculous to use an antibiotic daily for a something that is soley a cosmetic problem. Espically since daily or even casual use of antibotics can create antibiotic resistance making it difficult to treat an illness when you pet ACTUALLY does need it. for me the gain is far less then the risk!

I used this stuff for months on my peekapoo, it worked a little, but not enough to be worth the cost. Save your money and buy plain fat free yogurt instead. Works miracles.

i feed my white persian kitten dry food all the time. so when i bought this product i started feeding her wet food once a day to mix the powder with. i dont feed her the whole can just half. anyhow, she loved it and ate it like crazy. i could tell the powder started to work after about 2 days and i was sooo happy!!! but..... i made the mistake one day to let her SEE me mix the powder in her food... after this, she WILL NOT eat the powder in dry or wet food... I DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! i read the reviews that say put it in peanut butter but i think thats for dogs, a cat is a very picky eater and will not eat peanut butter... any advice or anyone with the same problem??????

After trying topical cleaners on my Bichon/Poodle mix, with no results, I tried Angel's Eyes. After several weeks, the staining stopped. After the hair grew out, and was trimmed, she looked snow white! We've begun the maintenance doses, so the bottle lasts longer. She gets just a tiny bit of non-staining "crust" by her eyes. It wipes off. She doesn't squint anymore either. I sprinkle it on her kibble and and she seems to like the taste. I highly recommend this product! I was skeptical, but it WORKS!

Angel Eyes may be a bit on the expensive side, but you get what you pay for. I've paid less for eye stain removal products, but they didn't work, so it was like throwing away money. Angel Eyes does the job. Some people complained that their dogs disliked the taste. I followed a suggestion that another customer made and added it to small meat balls that I just slipped into the microwave. After Sadie got use to the taste, I can now put it on anything she eats. (Thanks to this site, I got a great suggestion). After the eye stains were gone, I was able to drop the dosage down to once a week to keep her clear. If I notice the stains reappearing, I just increase the dosage. Thanks Angel Eyes for making my little Sadie even more beautiful.

Angels' Eyes appears to be working as promised for my 2yr. old Havanese. I have been adding this product to my dogs' food for approx. one month and the staining is getting less noticable! I will continue to use this great product and would highly recommend it for any breed for which eye staining is a problem. Thank you.

I've used this product on my Bichon puppy for about nine months. I have seen a significant decrease in staining, but it still continues. I groom him every day and wash the stains with "Crystal Eye" a mild shampoo. I also clip the stained hair when it gets long enough. He looks a lot better.
