I moved to Tampa from Lighthouse Point using American Van Lines moving services last month. I did my homework before choosing, and found that their prices were very reasonable and they could move me on short notice. The customer service rep was very helpful and easy to talk to and she took the time to explain everything to me. Moving on such short notice, I didn't have time to prepare a thing, but their movers worked quick and got me out of my apartment in less than 2 days. I was ecstatic! The unloading and unpacking is what I dreaded the most, the guys took care of that without fault. This was the easiest move I have ever had and I will definitely spread the word on a job well done.

My husband and I moved to Los Angeles, CA from Sunny Isles Beach, FL last weekend with American Van Lines and it was a very pleasing moving experience. Their support staff was cheerful and helpful throughout the entire moving process and the movers, Tim, Carlos and Jon that came to our home were no different. They managed to carefully pack our entire home in a matter of hours and once our things finally arrived to our new home they unpacked everything in the same manner. What I enjoyed most is that there were no surprises. I knew what I would be paying and I even put a little bit extra aside, because I know most moving companies always tack on little more after it is all said and done, but to my surprise there was no such thing. Thanks to American van lines our move went according to plan. We could not have been more pleased with the services rendered.

Moving is one of the most stressful experiences I have ever had to deal with, so when our family moved from Plantation to New York I was more than a little hesitant. I had used a professional moving company before and despite their promises, they always managed to break something. This time I didn’t want to deal with any moving company but I didn’t have any other option. We originally planned to call another moving company but somehow managed to get American Van Line’s numbers mixed up. This had to be one of the best mistakes I ever made because your rates where better than most of the other quotes we had gotten. The movers they sent where some of the most polite and professional guys I have ever dealt with. They handled the whole thing rather quickly and didn’t damage a single thing. Thanks to them we had a stress-free move. If we should ever need to move anytime in the future, American van lines will be the first ones we call.

With most moves, one anticipates difficulties and annoyances, however, in this instance moving was really a positive experience. Amount the many things moved they picked up a China Closet from my aunt back in Weston to be delivered here in Baltimore, Maryland. I was in disbelief that one man could actually move one piece of furniture with that size and they actually did a marvelous job! I will definitely recommend American Van Lines to anyone making a cross-country move. I look forward doing business with them again in the future.

I hired this company in June of 2007 to move me from fl to philly. I was the worst experience in my life. It took a month to get everything and when it did show up 65% of everything I owed was ruined by water, mold and mildew. Do yourself a favor, do not hire them unless you want to pay hundreds of dollars to loose everything you own. The owner is rude as well as the staff. The owners name is Anthony DiSorbo. His brother Aldo was in the moving industry but got banned as he commited fraud and scams.
