Sales person rated new A/C unit for our house - it is cool in summer and warm in winter. Very quiet except when heater is in defrost mode. This was explained prior to installation. There were some problems in getting the unit installed on our roof but were cleared within a few days. One of the problems seemed minor and acceptable to me, but the technicians worked until A/C was installed to their standards. It required installing a new platform. Technicians on subsequent visits made suggestions for add-on's but did not push or apply "scare tactics" to make extra sales. My advice to unhappy people "Don't continue shopping for anything AFTER you make a purchase"

My old unit was 13 years old and was on the verge of going out. I went to the Home Depot and set up an estimate. I ended up buying a deluxe 15 seer model. I was excited and maybe had too high of expectations. I was told I would get certain type of filter, my ceiling would be fixed (damaged from old unit), and an upgraded thermostat. They were quick to install +. However, they broke a piece out of my attic entrance and told no one. They brought the wrong filter. They brought the wrong thermostat. On top of that, the unit quit working three hours after it was installed. I tried to call someone but couldn't make contact. I finally made contact after a series of phone calls. They sent a tech out. He was a good man. He told me the unit was overwhelmed and pointed out several issues where the installers made mistakes. He got the unit running again. The second time someone came out, they brought the right filter and the right thermostat and discovered a pin hole leak the insta... Read more

The company we chose was based on the initial phone conversation. The technician arrived on time and provided everything we were promised with no additional charges. We were extremely pleased with his knowledge and would not hesitate to call upon this company again. First class

I was talked into a ac/heating system check by a guy at home depot. They offered me a good deal and since I had a problem with one of my units, I agreed to them checking it out. So the tech comes and checks out the unit and tells me the transformer is blown and some relays are bad. Then he goes to his truck and looks up the part. They wanted $281 for the transformer alone. I told him No Thanks, I may be almost deaf, but I'm not stupid. I bought a transformer that is better than the one they offered me (higher rating) for $30, and actually I could have gotten one like they offered me for less than $15. I replaced the transformer and proceded to check out the relays, which were not bad. The unit works great now, and I will never ever use this company as long as I live. It's not enough that they charge you $100+ per hour (tech wasn't there more than 15-20 minutes) they try to rip you off by getting you to pay 10 times the cost of the part. NO THANKS! They're crooks.

The entire process from salesman to install was great. A new Trane was installed. BUT when I applied for the APS electric rebate , APS denied it stating our new TRANE had an EER Rating of just 11.0 and 11.r is required. Our concern is more did we get an older model that didn't meet the standards plus we did not get the $300 rebate as promised in the bid. To date AHM-Inc. has not been able to resolve this with APS or advise us we got an older Trane 19I. This is disappointing because our entire experience with AHM had been great and communicative. Waiting on call back that is not coming so far. If resolved with APS or discover this is an older TRANE we will update this recommendation or lack of one. Very disappointed at this time about response from AHM but they did do a good job with installation and seemed above board.

Absolute worst service I have ever received from a contractor. I was sold a new Trane heat pump. It cost me $6600.00. I was told by the sales person that the unit was "whisper quiet". I asked, "It's really that quiet huh." He said, "It's so quiet that the technician has to lay his hand on it to see if it is running." This unit is much more noisey than the 25+ year old unit I had before. I actually have a hard time going to sleep at night sometimes. Their response: (if you can get them on the phone) was that the sales guy must have been talking about another model. I think not! I know what I was told. The salesman also told me that my electric bill would decrease by about 50%. I got a notice from SRP that my bill is going to increase. Again I was told that the salesman must have been talking about another model. Seems he was describing one model and sold me a different one. My install was done in April and during the install (new return in hallway) they destroyed a good portion of ... Read more

Be very careful with these people. First of all they employ folks who are not honest. If they get you home or cell number they will keep calling it, even if it's on the DO NOT CALL list. They have NO scruples. Don't get involved.

I thought it was questionable (home built in 2002) I requested part that came off of my system. I was told NO, I have to take your part with me for our inventory. "I cannot get a replacement part without turning in your part" sounds VERY QUESTIONABLE. I said your inventory has nothing to do with me. It is my part and I want it. Repairman would not replace the capacitor without being able to take the old one. Then had me sign a statement that I refused the replacement. Sounds to me like they are using used parts, or they do not trust their technicians. If it is the latter, then why should I trust them. By the way, the price quoted for the capacitor was 99.00. Checked on line was 25.00. One more thing, had service check by same company before by different tech and service was acceptable.
