Tue May 25 2010I would like to respond to this review and try to clarify a few things. We are a local, security company and pride ourselves in our excellent customer service. I am aware that this customer was dissatisfied but feel that she deliberately has misstated what occurred. First, as many of our customers do, she changed phone lines without first notifying our office. Your alarm system transmits data over your phone line. When you switch phone carriers (like to Time Warner or Vonnage) it is essential that you contact your alarm company either before this occurs or while the phone technician is at your home. This will enable our staff to make sure that we are getting alarm signals from your home after the switch. This customer did not do that which lead to the problem of being unmonitored. We have no way of knowing that your alarm panel is no longer sending signals because....it is unable to send a signal! It will show a trouble condition and at that time the customer must call and let us know.... Read more

Tue Mar 02 2010I bought a home that already had alarm system in place. I contacted this company for monitoring. This was a 3 year contract. When I changed phone companies, my alarm was left unmonitored for several days. I had to call them to come fix problem and the tech was a no show and a no call for the appointment. Then later my daughter tripped the alarm at 11pm on another day and no one called to see if we were ok. So I am done with them. I send 30 day notice to cancel and they did. I requested installer code or for them to reset my system back to default code and at first Dave said it would take a couple of days to get info then I called next day and it was 125.00 and then it was really that my contract automatically renewed for 3 yrs after initial 3 years but he let me out of it. He is so unethical. Why should I have to pay to have access to something I own outright. People will do anything for money. Stay clear of this company.
