Tue Apr 20 2010My husband & I met Fran walking her little dog Bear , close to Hilton Hawaiian Village. She gave us a card & I made an appt. for the next day. Fran's massage was one of the BEST I've ever had. I have been a flight attendant for 38 years & have had lots of massages all over the world. Fran also gives a full hr. massage, not 50 mins. like the fancy spas. Her price was so reasonable that I was happy to tip her generously. I will definitely be back &recommend her to my coworkers & passengers.

Mon Sep 07 2009Is a simple place, and very lay-back... She does a great massage, believe it... In addition her little dog Bear is a plus.... Well I have been living in Hawaii since 2006, and I have tried different places, but with Fran, is different. First when you arrived there, bear is there, so you can play with her. Bear is very friendly dog. Second you get a great services... As a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner, I need at least one massage a month... I getting old and the new kids are killing me in the dojo... So I can not wait for the end of the month, and I call her and make my appoint.

Tue Mar 18 2008My wife and I recently visited Fran for an hour-long massage. We looked all over citysearch and other online search engines to find a good massage therapist at a reasonable price. We read the reviews posted for Fran and found them to be very informative. Everything said in the previous reviews is true!!! The location is a little small and low tech, but the massage was very relaxing and very sanitary. Fran was really friendly and had good local information for us (first-time Hawaii visitors). I have chronic back pain due to degeniterative disc disease and constantly feel pain along my spine and stiffness in my back muscles. After Fran's massage I actually felt less pain, and my muscles were very relaxed. I've had massages before, but they didn't really feel as thorough as this one. I definately recommend Fran for anyone looking for a great massage at a very reasonable price.

Sun Feb 17 2008We travelled from Canada for a short stay in Honolulu and then a 7-day Hawaiian cruise. We wanted to get the jet-lag out of our systems on our first day of vacation and had booked appointments with Fran before leaving Canada (the reviews from this site easily convinced us to book with her). We have had many massages before, but these were the best ever! The added hot rock massage was a special and unexpected treat. Fran made us feel at ease from the moment we met her and had a very relaxing environment . Her darling little Honey Bear (a lhasa apso dog) kept us company while Fran massaged the other half. We will definitely book Fran whenever we travel to Honolulu.

Thu Aug 30 2007I had a massage while staying at the Hilton. The service was okay, but the price was too much. I found a massage place around the corner from on the last day of our stay that was absolutely the BEST massage I have EVER had. And I have had many. The price was almost a third less then the Hilton too. I was a little put off by the look of buildings, but it is just a bit of classic Hawaii. The therapist's name was Fran Rose and her office was quite clean. I spoke to another lady at the airport who had a massage there and she said that she found the same therapist I used in a top 10 travel guide and that the lady who gave the massage has done massage for 20 years and has massaged many famous people too. I looked her up when I got home just google Aloha Healing Arts in case you want to book in advance. What a great way to relieve and prevent jet-lag.

Mon Jul 02 2007Fran has absolutly marvolous hands. I have NEVER had a better massage. She has even done work on many celebrities and I can see why they would seek her out. I whole heartedly suggest you go see her as soon as you get off the plane so jet lag will not rear it's ugly head. She is just beside the Honolulu Hilton Village just as you get into Waikiki.
