Mon Aug 17 2009We were shown a home in Gilbert (on Balboa Dr. if the owner is reading) yesterday. The home has been on the market for nearly 2 months and will remain that way if the owner continues to allow these people to be his property management. The "AGENT" showing the property had dealt with my boyfriend on the phone and when we arrived and got out of the car, she sized me up and continued to make flirtatious remarks to him and about him directly in front of me. I wasn't exactly worried about it considering she was about 5'6, misshapen and had a gap in her teeth the size of the intersection we had crossed to get into the subdivision. Her husband, who looked like he had just been evicted from the underside of a trailer in Yuma, had a stain on his shirt that looked like infected urine and a Starbucks cup filled with, what looked like, Natural Light. He proceeded to follow us around, sitting on ledges and leaning against walls in the home (with his feet) while staring at my breasts in the most ob... Read more

Mon Aug 17 2009We were shown an amazing house by Candace with Sureway Properties. The house is located on Balboa street in Gilbert Arizona in a neighborhood we have been trying to get a place for months. Within 5 minutes Candace and her husband turned us off on our dream home. Her appearance was very unprofessional as was her speech and attitude. She had her husband with her who was filthy both in dress/smell and attitude. My girlfriend received nothing but hostile stares from Candace and her husband only stared at my girlfriends chest. Her husband sat on the railing and walls in the house smacking his dirty boots into the walls over and over again. Candace told us they don't let people in that "hurt children" while glaring at my girlfriend. While we appreciate that the company doesn't allow felons in, we cannot understand the hate we were receiving since we have no issues with our background. They tried to charge over $380.00 as a "finders fee" which is about 4 times the going rate and made ... Read more

Tue Dec 16 2008i have never in my life had a bad reputation with a rental company or landlord before I signed with Sureway. Regardless of the problem you will not be helped with anything. Even paying them rent is a chore. I am now going to court with them for not giving 30 days notice before moving out. Despite having fulfilled my 12 month lease. At some point I became tired of not having electricity in the garage or outside, pipes leaking in the laundry room, a toilet that is constantly running, drafty doors, and an A/C thats smells like smoke everytime it kicks on. Stay away from Sureway!!!

Fri Sep 05 2008This company is a real joke, they will not call you back, they do not do anything they say they will do I would never ever use this company for any reason, they should not be in business. As said before you might as well manage it yourself well put..they have their own repair company and they will pad the invoices to the owners and rip you off again and again . What ever you do AVOID this company a all cost if you can call this a company.

Mon Jul 14 2008These people will NOT return phone calls, will NOT attend to required maintenance issues, and only care if your rent is on time. I have had nothing but trouble since the day I moved into this rental. No lighting fixtures in 5 of the 7 living areas, no A/C turned on for us to move in - it was the middle of August in PHX, 30 days and 5 messages to have a broken stove replaced, the list goes on. "Avoid at all costs", just as the other reviewer says!

Sun Feb 24 2008You might as well just manage the property yourself since Sureway won't do it for you. I've never dealt with such an unresponsive company in my many years in working with property management companies. None are great, but they are down right bad. It takes many calls and emails to get anything done. When they finally come down to doing it, they do it wrong and bill inappropriately. Do your research and get references before signing up with any property management company. As for Sureway, skip them and go on to the next ones.
