This is one of my favorite movies of all times. I have watched it 20 times or more, just love it. This was the best movie with Bette Davies.

I agree with all the positive comments about this movie. The thing I like best is the timeless subject matter. You know people still act like this today. It would do well for those with huge egos like Margot to look over their shoulder every now and then to see who is trying to creep up and take their place.

I hate this movie!! I don't know why it has such a great rep, can't compare to Sunset Blvd. and definately not nearly as a great a Bette Davis performance as her W.B. films.

Brilliantly written and directed by Joseph Mankiewicz, All About Eve is one of the most intelligent movies ever. It hardly matters that most people probably won't get all the theatrical allusions; I certainly didn't. Read 'All About All About Eve' to really get behind the script. All the performances were superb. In fact, none of the performers were ever as good again, except for Marilyn Monroe, who played a small but delicious part. I particularly liked George Sanders as the supremely cynical Addison De Witt, who was pulling everybody's strings. He deserved his Oscar. It was unfortunate that Bette Davis did not receive the Oscar, but between Anne Baxter, as Eve, and the equally brilliant Gloria Swanson in Sunset Boulevard, the vote split and it went to Billie Holliday (who?). The only drawback in this movie is the last scene in Eve's rooms. It seemed tacked-on like an afterthought, and was not in keeping with the tone of the rest of the movie.

Fasten your seatbelts for a great movie! The dialogue is crisp, the acting superb. My favorite Bette Davis movie, and I have read that Bette Davis was justly proud of her achievement in this film.

Pretty good movie with a great screenplay and great performance from Bette Davis and George Sanders. There is one part for each character that makes me wanna just scream Oh what a B*tch!

Considered by me and critcs alike as one of the best movies ever made. Bette Davis is simply brilliant. Supporting actors and actresses superb. There's never going to be another film like it. Truely a classic in every sense of the word!

A very good movie. Bette DAvis plays a famous stage actress Margo Channing. Eve is a young actress want to be who claims to be a huge fan of Margo Channing she even charms her way into Margo Channings life by moving in with her as an assistant. Time goes by and we see that Eve is Not the sweet doting fan she pretends to be. It turns out that Eve wants to be an actress and we see she will stop at nothing to get what she wants. Bette Davis is great as the getting older Margo{ if you can call 40 old!}who trusted Eve and was later betrayed by her. Marilyn Monroe has a small role in the movie too. All the actors are good in their roles. A Little too long but a very good movie.

A magnificent movie on every level. A crackling script, superb acting, just unrivaled and unparalled. I recommend the book, "All about All About Eve."

Bette Davis' finest role. A must see film for fans of drama with strong female characters. Watch for a young Marily Monroe in a small part.
