If Bush is not the living proof of these experiments, than who is !?! They just should have kept him.

The problem with alien abduction is that we only have eye witness accounts to establish its truth. Sadly, eye witness accounts lack credibility. After all, for instance, it is eye witness accounts that establish that Elvis is still alive. We need some physical evidence to back up all these claims of alien medical experiments. We could use some forensic evidence to establish implants under the skin, unusual burns, landing sites and all such phenomena reported by the History Channel and other "fact" based electronic media. Not one scintilla of credible evidence exists to back up all these claims.

Five most popular names of abductees: Virgil, Bubba, Jim Bob, Billy Ray, and Cletus. Of course, they don't exclusively take rednecks, the rednecks are just what they happen to always give back...

I'll look into them if and when reliable disclosures arise during my lifetime.

I always wonder why a highly technically advanced species would be interested in anally probing gap-toothed, Twinkie-scoffing, seventeen-hound-owning hillbillies. On the other hand, if they'll take one hillbilly, why don't they take them all.

This mystery is certainly quite unexplained. While it is tempting to laugh it off,it has been too widespread over history to be simply a prank or an isolated case of one or two "weirdos".It's absurd to believe that in an infinate universe we are the only "intelligent"(and I use that term loosely) life.It is quite possible, therefore, that there COULD be more "advanced" cultures-at least we should hope so.IF aliens did abduct humans, their probings would likely be of a scientific nature-like the way our scientists experiment on animals in labs.Of course, there are many other Theories as to what explains the "Alien Abduction" phenomena:Some postulate Interdimensional beings rather than ones from "outer space" while others insist that it is some kind of psychotic or delusional episode of the victim or abductee. There's no proof of any of this. It's a mystery.I'm sure at least SOME of the people who claim to have been abducted are mentally ill,but I doubt they all are.

Never gave this much credence, then I read a book by Carl Sagan that sealed it for me. He very effectively pointed out the startling correlations between alien abductions of today and demonic possessions of the past and that the "abductions" really only exist in those peoples minds.

What was once theorised as an unexplained alien abduction, is now realised as either a psychotic episode, or a manifestation of child abuse. Or option 3, the butt of dimwit jokes.

The reason that the fat rednecks are abducted is because they are usually drunk and nobody would believe them. Makes you think.

The fact that aliens are more interested in anal probing and abducting hillbillies suggests that they are the biggest practical jokers in the universe.

Funny how they usually only abduct those, *suspenders, grass eating, rake in hand * farmers.

Memories of childhood sexual abuse returning in adulthood as vivid, terrifying, too-real flashbacks, too painful to face directly. Ever wonder why the "aliens" are so obsessed with human private parts? Why would they care? Why wouldn't they obsess over noses, eyes, ears, fingers ... ?

I love this topic, it's so hilarious!!! If there are actually aliens out there abducting people, the why do they only abduct :::really weird::: people? And on top of that, why do they always bring back the ones they take? Why not keep them? Put them in an alien terrarium and poke them with sticks. Who cares?! We'll never know what happened to them! But bringing them back...is that supposed to be like the alien's version of a refund? Give me a break! It's just plain rude! :P

While I am not certain of there being Aliens from other planets or not, I have heard several convincing theories as to their actually being some. However, I have never seen any, and therefore find it hard to grasp the concept of other types of beings actually inhabiting some far away planet. One of the people I do know, who is highly respected among his co-workers and peers, seems to think it would be arrogant of us to think that we are the only beings. However, as I have mentioned, I’m not sure at this point. So I guess my real answer thus far is, maybe there are.

Claims of alien abduction are generally unsubstantiated and false. There is an explanation for this "mystery"- the people claiming to be abducted are nuts. Do I believe that there is life out there? Absolutely! However, I'm not willing to buy into some attention-craving lunatic's unproven claim of being abducted by aliens.

Like CastleBee, I also read Streiber's books. He recounts his abduction episodes in detail. He then tries to provide all possible explanations for what he experienced. He wore me out with all the scenarios, when he obviously believed it was aliens. I appreciate his approach, but enough already! I can't say I believed him, but I also cannot say I have the answers. Intriguing....

These people need to either seek counseling, lay off the sauce, quit smoking pot or all of the above. I read both of Whitley Streiber's books on his alleged abductions several years ago and came away with the conclusion that he was not only a tad wacky but also delving into very dangerous waters. Since there was never any real evidence that he was abducted, my feeling is that this stuff was happening to him on a mental/spiritual level and one that most likely involved demonic activity.

Give me a break. This is not even worthy of discussion.

If these reports WERE true, then aliens must have a strange anal fixation . . . why the anal probe? Alien ENCOUNTERS are just slightly more believable than Alien ABDUCTIONS (i.e., Just seeing one rather than being kidnapped by one). I just don't see enough credible evidence to buy into this theory at the moment.
