It seems to me that this rating service is being used, by many in a childish manor and that's a shame. Where do I start with a vendor who is one of the very few people in the gem and jewelry industry that I trust as I do like AJS Gems? I am a repeat customer, and I've shopped personally, and other family members with AJS for a few years now. I have scrutinized many items unlike any other buyer will. These good are genuine. These are in no way synthetics. I can tell that based on microscopic imagery. If you like what's in the picture, you might find out that the picture doesn't do a stone justice. AJS Gems is very forthcoming with disclosures. I've had one time where I experienced a typo on a dimension. It was off by 1mm. I've also had cases where the stone ended up being cleaner or better than actually disclosed. For instance, I bought a zircon once described as eye clean. That was an understatement as it was almost flawless. I purchased on sapphire disclosed as being heated; I have yet to find evidence of thermal enhancements.
