Tue Dec 30 2008It is ashame one customer choses to keep writing bad reviews of Dr. Agurwal. I have used him for many year, including a very complicated procedure (replacing all my metal filliings with white ones). This took numerous visits. After that, he became my ongoing dentist. I have always found him to be very respectful and hard working. It is easy to make an appointment and he will even slip you in at the last minute during emergencies. He even gave me his cell phone once because in case my dental concern acted up while he was on vacation. His cancelation policies are explained thoroughly at the initial visit and are more than reasonable. He is, in fact, the only dentist I have ever recommended to friends and colleagues. I couldn't be happier with my care.

Wed Apr 02 2008Our entire office at Dental Arts takes customer service and quality clinical care very seriously. We are able to respond to this review promptly because "fjune" advised our office that she would write a bad review on citysearch and then faxed the review to our office. I understand that things happen in our busy lives and schedules need to change and sometimes things come up. In order to provide the level of service we strive for we don't 'double book' and hardly ever run behind schedule. When a last minute change happens in our schedule it throws a wrench into our planned day. Our hygienst or the doctor (myself) doesn't have a backup patient. Our cost of doing business and our employee salaries still continue as well. This is the unfortunate fact of running a business. We appreciate that "fjune" called 3 days (more than 48 hours) in advance to inquire about rescheduling. However, our team was advised she would call back and didn't hear from her until the day before (2 days af... Read more

Wed Apr 02 2008Today when I received an email from Dr. Tarun "T-Bone" Agarwal's office stating that I was "...overdue for your preventive dental and oral health examination," I was amused. Amused because the previous day, "T-Bone" wouldn't speak to me. The cowardly lion hid behind his receptionist. As a business owner, I understand that "T-Bone" has to cover for his staff when they make mistakes. I called well-in-advance of my appointment and was not reminded of their 48 hour cancellation policy\penalty. Their policy\penalty is not detailed on their email reminders. However, his office become very policy heavy when the customer does not meet their 48 hour criteria. As a courtesy and after the receptionist advised that I was welcome to take my dollars elsewhere, I advised them of my initial review...all based in truth. Ironically, "T-Bone's" office isn't courteous enough to REMIND its customers of the penalties they will incur if they do not adhere to the policies that have been created. A si... Read more

Tue Apr 01 2008It is with great pleasure that I write this review. As a consumer, I have choices. A few months ago, I made an appointment with Dr. Agarwal's office for April 3. I called his office on Mon, Mar 31 to reschedule the appointment. The receptionist stated that the next available appointment was April 30 since Dr. Agarwal would be out of town. Needing to be seen sooner than April 30, I told her I would try to rearrange my schedule and would call back. She stated "ok" and for me to call back as soon as I could. I called the office on Wed, Mar 2 and was advised that cancelling or rescheduling an appointment requires a 48 hour notice and that I would be billed $75. Baffled why I wasn't told this on my initial call, she stated it was the office policy to bill customers for cancelling\rescheduling appointments without a proper 48 hour notice. As a long time patient of Dr. Agarwal's, it's infuriating for someone to cite policy when you're an unhappy customer. When I spoke with "Danik... Read more
