Mon Jun 30 2008African Pride products smell *amazing*, and are wonderful for our hair. I use the shampoo/conditioner, hair moisturizer, leave-in, and I also like the grease and the creme conditioner(the creme leaves my hair so soft). It was around when I was a teenager, and now I am 33 turning 34. Wish I had kept it up for that long. My hair would probably be excessively long by now.

Wed Sep 08 2004I've been using All Ways Natural hair care products (from the makers of African Pride)for over 15 years with great results. I am of Caribbean descent with naturally curly hair. I used to have problems with dry frizzy hair and split ends. All the other products I tried for dry hair were too greasy and made my hair dull and lifeless. But All Ways shampoo is light and gentle enough to use every day. I love that its unscented. I follow it with All Ways conditioner which works as a detangler too. My hair has been called silky, bouncy, and even perfect at times. I trust their products completely. The only thing missing from their product line is an occasional deep cleanser to better remove hair spray buildup.

Wed Jun 23 2004I used the relaxer kit a few times and the first time I liked it but the other times, it kind of dried out my hair and it burned my scalp.

Thu Jun 03 2004My hair shows my mixed my ancestery. Which is of Native American, Brazilian and Afro- American. Dry,and thick. Ranging between fine and course textures. Before using African Pride products,on any given day, my hair could be any combination of curly, wavy and kinky. The feel and appearance varied day to day. It could be anything from brittle, dry and dull. Or soft and healthy. This product line, is a miracle for my hair. It really works.

Mon Nov 20 2000When my hairdresser accidentally cut my hair too short, my friends were telling me about this product and that it speeds the growth. I'm not sure if that's what the bottle it came in said, but when I used it I didn't notice the growth. But it did keep my hair healthy.

Fri Nov 17 2000I use it on my hair. It smells healthy and it's enriched with plenty of good vitamins like E to strengthen brittle hair, sabotaged roots and dead/split ends. So try it for yourself.

Mon Nov 13 2000It softens your hair and leaves it feeling light. It doesn't weigh down your hair or leave it with an icky feeling.

Mon Nov 13 2000African Pride is a great hair product, because it smells good and it works wonders for black people. That's why it gets a good rating.

Fri Nov 10 2000Smells very good which gets the attention. Has a lot of spices and ingredients for the hair. Always helps hair look healthy. Helps dry ends. I like it because it helps my hair become moist and not so greasy.

Wed Nov 01 2000Helps hair grow. The product smells very good and makes you feel refreshed after use. You can't really find the product in average stores, though. You have to go to a beauty supply store to buy it, not Kmart.

Wed Nov 01 2000When I had braids in my hair I used the spray to keep my hair shiny. It worked really well. I think it's an extremely reliable product.

Tue Oct 31 2000I enjoy this hair care product because it is specifically designed for African-Americans. What I enjoy most from their line of products is "Braid Sheen". I wear braids, so therefore when my hair is itching, Braid Sheen is effective. It soothes the itching and moisturizes. It also does not mess up my hairstyle.

Wed Oct 25 2000The products contain a lot of natural products, the moisturizer and some hair products double as body oil. Great for sheen or to use when flat ironing or applying heat!

Fri Oct 20 2000I have come to depend on African Pride braid spray and leave in conditioner for my haircare needs. It gets the job done with a pleasant scent and a minimum of stickiness. Unfortunately, there are a couple of not nearly as good brands with similar names that can mislead the consumer.
