Affordable Pup

After researching dogs for over six months, we found our Be`Be`(formerly Lilac) at Affordable Pets in October 2010. I have had numerous dogs in the last fifty years and had never purchased a dog online. This was my first experience doing so and I do not regret it.We are totally happy and satisfied with our little female Havanese. She has had no health issues and was spayed at six months and gets groomed every four weeks. Be`Be` is a total joy and we love her to death. Sandra Nunez Slidell, LA.

Responsible breeders will not sell to customers sight unseen! Affordable Pups is, at best, a puppy broker getting puppies from puppy mills and at best is a puppy mill itself. Responsible breeders will have only a few litters a year and will typically only offer one or two breeds. They will be active in showing their dogs in conformation, competitive obedience, etc. Responsible breeders ask lots of questions to ensure a right fit, and will allow you to view the breeding premises along with the mother, and at least a picture of the father (since responsible breeders always breed to better their line of dogs, they may not own the dog that would have been the best match for their female). Affordable pups does none of these things that responsible breeders do, and are simply churning out puppy after puppy to make a quick buck. We just got Kona this week and we love him! He's so playful and adorable-everywhere we go with him, he gets compliments! He's so smart and a perfect addition to the family. We picked him up and were very impressed with the facilities, how much the employees knew about the puppies, and how much they cared about them. Matthew made sure we knew everything we had to know. Last summer, I was interested in purchasing a havanese. My parents found an online website which sold a variety of small breeds. I was hesitant about purchasing a puppy through the internet, because my family has always bought directly from the breeder. However, because of the attractive website and reasonable prices my parents and I decided to call the business to find out more information. After speaking with a very informative and courteous employee, my parents and I decided to schedule an appointment to check out the facility and a few of the havanese puppies they had on the site. The facility was well kept, sanitary and had a home like environment. The puppies were bathed, clean and playful. The site even had dog toys for customers to use in order to interact and get a feel for the puppies’ personalities. My wife and I purchased our Havanese puppy on March 8th 2011. She has been a perfect addition to our family. It all started with our visit to your facility. We were impressed with how clean it was and that there was zero kennel smell. Next was the staff, Daniel, Mike, and Matt were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They answered all our questions and even addressed things we had not thought of. Then was that when viewing the puppies, there was absolutely no pressure to hurry or to make a purchase. Since bringing Katie home she has been wonderful. She is very healthy, affectionate, and playful. It has been just over two weeks and she is almost housebroken. She already knows the commands sit and come, and is working on shake, down, and roll over. We want to thank everyone at AP for our new family member. The arrival of my little Pippa! She is a tiny 10 week old Yorkie. A great big thanks to Mike and everyone at AP.com who make it all happen! The whole experience from working one-on-one to make a puppy selection to the great instructions for her care has been wonderful. I have to admit when I picked her up at the airport I was a bit nervous with how small she was and making sure I was caring for her properly. Mike was really great with me checking in everyday until I felt more comfortable that she was adjusting well. Pippa is completely healthy, playful, and so loving to everyone she encounters. We got our Shih Tzu puppy about a month ago, and we couldn't be happier. Raider is the most loving and well behaved puppy I have ever owned. I live close to Affordable Pups, and when I went to pick up my puppy I was amazed at appearance and cleanliness of the facility. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I was so pleased with everything I even referred my sister to them the same week. The whole experience was great and we couldn't have asked for a better puppy. I highly recommend Affordable Pups!

1) Friend purchased a puppy (10 weeks old and less than 2 lbs) that died within 5 days of her receiving due to liver failure. Friend spent more than $1200 in vet bills for both URI on Sunday and then emergency care for liver shunt 3 days later. 2) In conversation with them, they blamed the death on the person that purchased as well as Banfield. Note if you choose to go with Banfield for your vet, they will not stand by health of the puppy. 3) They have sold over 8000 puppies since being in business. Quite a bit for a "non-puppy store" 4) Unless you are seeing the condition that both Mother and Puppy are living in you are most likely supporting puppy mills from their "breeders". Ask to see both or better yet, go through your local shelters and rescue groups or a local breeder. With over 4 million dogs killed each year there is no need to go through online pet stores.

I love my puppy - Lacey!! I purchased a yorkie pup from them about 9 months ago, and my husband and I couldn't be more happy with her! She's unbelievably cute, in perfect health, and has the most adorable personality! Only 3 pounds! Everywhere I go, I receive compliments are her. People always ask where we got her and I tell them Affordable Pups - they are AMAZING. I was a little hesitant about buying a puppy online, so I made the 5 hour drive to their facility. When I arrived I was extremely impressed! The entire place is gorgeous and super clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful (and cute :). When they handed me my puppy I instantly fell in love with her. Now that it has been a while, I am very interested in getting my little Lacey a playmate, and I will DEFINITELY be purchasing my next puppy from Affordable Pups. This time though, I may choose 'shipping' instead of 'local pick up'. :) Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Affordable Pups -- They're awesome!

Wow what a great place to get a pup...our puppy was soooo happy the minute we got it off the plane he sprang right into our arms! It was love at first site he appeared very healthy and well taken care of. The process went so smoothly we ordered him on a wendseday and had him the next day. Everything was as promised and our family couldn't be happier!!!

Let me begin by saying I did NOT get the puppy that I purchased in the picture on their site, not by a long shot! Even after I specifically asked to make sure because I saw another puppy with the same specs EXACTLY word for word on nextdaypets.com. Matt ASSURED me that it was the same dog that was pictured in the ad on their site. The dog I ordered was TOTALLY BLACK WITH A BIT OF WHITE ON HIS CHEST AND CHIN AND HIS EARS WERE STANDING UP-- the dog I received had gray/brown feet half way up, it's ears were floppy and it's face had lots of gray/brown on it!!! I made PDF copies of both pages to compare and the puppy I received was NEITHER of the puppies shown for sale...WTF! The ONLY reason I am not going after them for their blatant lies is that the puppy I got is a GREAT puppy... but it was sheer luck on my part in that we connected so well. I just recently bought a pup from Affordable Pup! Oh we love her so much. When I was doing my research on this website, I was a little concerned. I had read a few things that people had posted on the internet that claimed and were saying Affordable Pups wasn't a reputable company. I mean of course every company is going to have slanderers and people who trash talk them, so I def. took that into consideration. I proceeded and actually went to the website and looked up on their customer referral page and was amazed at how many customers were satisfied with their puppies they had bought from Affordable Pup! Affordable Pup is a great company and I don't regret buying our puppy from them. They are the best to work with and their employees were beyond nice to me. Thanks so much! Hey! I just bought a puppy from affordable not to long ago too! I bought a little cavapoo. Let me tell you it's one of the best dogs ever...Affordable Pups always have the cutest puppies on their website. They give great customer service, especially Addison and Matthew. They were very friendly and like to joke around a lot. I am very satisfied with my puppy and am looking to buy another one real soon :)

Hey there! Have you guys ever been to Affordablepup.com? This site is so neat! I was looking for a puppy to buy for my daughter the other day for her birthday and thought it would be easier to search online first. I wanted a puppy that would be fairly small, nothing to big. So I looked up Teacup yorkies, Teacup malteses, pomeranians, and etc. I came across this website, www.affordablepup.com. I am telling you, it's soooo cute:) They have so many little puppies on their site and they have multiple pictures of each puppy. I just couldn't get enough. You can buy the puppy right there online. So handy! One thing I loved about the site is that if had a lot of customer referrals so I could definately tell that it was not a fluke or not. They also had pictures where I could see everyone that worked there and a phone number where I could contact them if I had any questions about the puppies.
