Aeromexico

Unfortunately made the mistake of booking a roundtrip flight on Aeromexico Airlines from San Antonio to Cancun, with connections in Mexico City. Uuggghhh. I had no problems getting to Cancun but Aeromexico left me stranded in Mexico City on the return home. When I got off plane from Cancun in Mexico City I checked the "Departure Boards" for status of my connection and gate number. Board said departing at 4:00 pm (40 minutes late) in Gate 62. Had over 2 hours so got a fast bite to eat. When walking to Gate 62 glanced up at Departure Boards which indicated my flight was boarding at Gate 52; it was 3:00pm. Ran to gate and just as we got there they closed doors to ramp. Refused to let us board although people were filling the ramp trying to get on board. They refused to even talk to us and all of a sudden did not understand engish. Talked to 2 supervisors who were rude and obnoxious. Was told they could get us on a flight in 2 days.... yes, 2 days. I'll pay good money to avoid AM going forward. AM customer service reps hit me up for tips (and were deeply offended when I only coughed up $10) after they pointed me to the baggage check area in Mexico City. That was the last time I'd see my bag for about 24 hours. When my bag showed up at my hotel a day after I did, approx. $330 worth of stuff was missing out of it, including a pair of sunglasses my wife gave me as a wedding present. Customer service, though "distraught" about what happened, is telling me to pound sand.

I travel frequently to Mexico to assist with my ill and aging mother. Typically a Mexicana flyer, I have had to switch to Aeromexico because of Mexicana's financial issues. This past trip, my first with Aeromexico, my luggage was opened and jewelry, along with other personal belongings, were stolen. This was a suitcase within the size restrictions as listed on Aeromexico's website, yet one that the Aeromexico attendant required me to check before boarding. Aeromexico has refused to investigate. I am flying again, as my mother's situation worsens, and wanted to bring my son to assist me. I reserved a ticket, and when he went to reserve his, the price was $500 over my ticket price. In trying to determine why, one of the reservation assistants spoke with a superior manager, and found a seat available for a price more comparable to mine. I'VE FLOWN TO MEXICO AND BACK MANY MANY TIMES. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I'D RATHER FLY MEXICANA AIRLINES AND WILL FROM NOW ON ALWAYS. AFTER SPENDING OVER $6000 ON TICKETS FOR A PARTY OF 10, THIS COMPANY IS NOT EVEN WILLING TO WORK WITH US IN REGARDS TO TRAVEL CHANGES. THEY WANT TO CHARGE US A 200 PENALTY FEE EACH FOR CHANGING TRAVEL PLANS AND ON TOP OF THAT THEY WILL BE CHARGING THE DIFFERENCE IN FLIGHT PRICE. WHAT A RIP OFF!!!! I COULD HAVE WAITED TO THE LAST MINUTE TO BUY TICKETS AND I STILL WOULD BE PAYING $200-$500 LESS EACH PASSENGER. I had a good flight from Mexico City (MMMX),with a Destination to San Francisco(KSFO). My flights were cool,first flight was AMX flight#229,from Guadalajara(MMGL), to Mexico City.And from Mexico City i had a final destination to San Francisco (KSFO),which was AMX flight #664 . I will def,fly again with Aeromexico,great ticket fares and great customer service . Aeromexico has been my favorite airline out of Mexico,i know there are other airlines who compete against Aeromexico,but Aeromexico is simply the top one in my list.

AEROMEXICO Luggage and Customer Service Sucks ! We travel from Mexico to Cdad Juarez and they just open the luggage and break them, including the TSA Locks We called Customer Service and they just say that this was a minor damage for them, even when now we can't lock the luggage in the future. That doesn't make this problem a major damage? I strontgly recommend to take care with this Airline !!!!

Pretty good. Good service, good connections. Some Gringo carriers should do as well.

I took a trip to Cancun on Aeromexico and it was great, especially the babe-A-licious stewardesses. Fares were good, flights ontime, and service great, but for a hound dog like me, I'd rather talk about the babes.

Ask frequent flyers which airline worldwide enjoys the BEST ONTIME PERFORMANCE RECORD and I'll bet you get the wrong answer. Most people are surprised when they learn that the correct answer is Aeromexico. Over the past 10 years, Aeromexico has achieved better than a 90% on-time rate. I've flown with Aeromexico about 30 times over the last 2 years, and what constantly impresses me about their operation is that the flights ALWAYS go on time -- they're like German trains! I have NEVER had a significantly late flight on Aeromexico. I'm sure they happen sometimes, but for my money, I'll stick with a PROVEN track record -- and that's Aeromexico. Service is also great. Faster checkin lines than you're probably used to with U.S. airlines, plus nice touches that tell you you're a valued customer. Like the candy as you enter the plane, or the FREE beer or margarita during your flight (none of that stupid "$4, exact change appreciated" nonsense that you get stiffed with on U.S. airlines). If you travel to or from Mexico, you will find AeroMexico to be on of the biggest airlines in Mexico that makes both, national and international flights. I would say the overall service is good. It has maintained itself on the top.

I went on AeroMexico and was surprised by their exceptional service.
