Thu Feb 24 2011He went home to be with the Lord a couple of years ago but his wonderful Radio Broadcast is still blessing others. I've learned more from his 30 min. radio show than I have sitting in some Churches for over 25 years. He packed so much bible knowledge & great information in so little time.Andrian Rodgers and the Love Worth Finding Ministries is a true diamond among all of this modern day glass which is passing itself off as bible teaching.

Mon Mar 15 2010What a Great Servant of God and he remained a great family man who was true and Scandal free all the days of his life. This Bible teacher appeared to walk what he taught(practiced what he preached). He truly represented wisdom and godly leadership in the Body of Christ. I am sure the Lord greeted him with a well done my good and faithful servant. His Bible instruction was nonsense and always lined up with the Word upon further examination. Like it or not this was one Spirit-filled Baptist Preacher whose messages were accurate and right on the straight and narrow path. There were no twist, turns, detours or manipulation with him. I never ever heard of him misusing the Bible for his own greed or gain. We should all thank Jesus for loaning this awesome man of God to us for as long as He did but I wish he had been given more years among us but good for him that Pastor Adrian Rogers has entered into his (Heavenly) rest & reward after a job well done.

Sun Jun 21 2009He is a very good teacher of the truth of the Holy Word. The Bible backs it up.

Tue Apr 15 2008Despite certain reservation regarding some theological issues, I appreciate Adrian Rogers as a genuine man of God who preached the Gospel from and with his heart. And never heard him compromising, which is a BIG plus.

Mon Apr 14 2008I thought he was very good but still a denominational teacher. I did listen to him last night on television. He actually said something you normally don't hear from a baptist. He was talking about the mystery that Paul talks about in his epistles and how no one else knew of this mystery. It was hid in God until he chose Paul to preach it. No where in the bible other than in Paul's epistles does it reveal that God would go to the gentiles. That was just a thrilling moment. Every one mixes up the word of God. Jesus went to the Jew first. They had to realize who he was and be baptized for remission of their sins but that never happened. When they rejected His message, He did something that was kept in his mind but never revealed. He has now taking his message, through Paul to the gentiles. When you separate prophesy from the mystery in the bible, it finally makes sense. Rest in peace Adrian!

Sun Dec 30 2007Pastor Rodgers died a couple of years ago. I met him once. He was truly a great man of God who faithfully preached the Word of God. I grew more under his preaching (on TV and radio) than most any other minister. He also helped steer the Southern Baptist Convention back to their conservative/fundamentalist roots (i.e., believing in the complete Word of God). Many of the SBC seminaries had started tilting liberal in their teachings, but through Dr. Rodgers' efforts (and others after him) the SBC was saved from dying as many of the mainstream denominations have done. Truly a great man...

Thu Mar 29 2007Adrian Rogers was a great preacher. He stood for morality and never backed down from Biblical convictions. I still enjoy listening to him on Oneplace.com & watching him on TV. His teaching ministry is going to continue to hang around and bless others, I believe. 5 stars, Mr. Adrian. Well done!

Tue Mar 27 2007Rogers was also awarded numerous honorary degrees, including the Litterarum Doctor degree from the California Graduate School of Theology in Glendale, California in 1979, and the Doctor of Sacred Theology degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia in 2003.

Thu Feb 08 2007No complaints here. He preaches the word of God with power and conviction. I really like how he challenges the listener with his biblical messages. He's highly recommended. Now that he's gone to be with the Lord, we won't get anything new, but the messages that he left us with were Spirit-led indeed.

Tue Nov 28 2006Well I said I love two radio/TV evangelists and one was Charles Stanley. The other is Adrian Rogers. What an insightful, spiritual man. I love listening to his sermons. I just read below that he died? I wasn't aware of that. With a heavy heart, I'm off to search the web for information on that.

Sat Oct 07 2006Truly annointed by the Holy Spirit and gifted by the creator as a teacher who "really tells it like Jesus says it is"., absent of modern day Churchianity. I know that I will meet Adrian in Glory.

Sat Sep 23 2006One of the greatest preacher/teachers ever. A true man of God.

Fri Sep 08 2006Sorry but he died many months ago. I think you should take him off the list, unless you want to bring the old-time preachers back here too.

Sat Sep 02 2006Better than most TV preachers I've seen , Adrian Rodgers is not afraid to speak up about many areas in the Bible that confront sin and evil in our cuture and goverment . Adrian also seemed eager to preach salvation and keep that central in his ministry. I think there are some areas where Adrian was wanting could be critized but at least Adrian always seemed to really care about the interest of Jesus.

Fri Apr 28 2006Political propoganda disguised as Christianity.

Wed Apr 05 2006Adrian Rodgers was a prolific teacher. His messages are balanced, accurate and can be checked against the inerrant Word of God. Unlike many of the so-called Word of Faith teachers of today, Dr. Rodgers brought the unadulterated Word of God and not his own opinions or twisted logic. His great love for the Lord Jesus Christ come across in his messages, as well as his sincerity. There was nothing phony about him. I was deeply touched by the fact that Dr. Rodgers left a good bye letter to his listeners and supporters to be released upon his death. This letter encouraged the saints of God to stand firm and carry on the work of the ministry. It was a reflection of the Apostle Paul's letter to Timothy and carried the same type of sentiment ("For I am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand..." II Tim 4:6-8). I really admire Dr. Rodgers' dedication and devotion to the Lord. To have had the presence of mind and great love for God and his people that he'd leave a farewell... Read more

Fri Mar 31 2006He was good when he was alive. Is it normal to keep people on these lists who have passed away? If it is, we should put some of the old-time preachers on - like Aimee Semple McPherson.
by great_man_of_god
Tue Mar 28 2006Soft spoken and speaks with conviction and authority . Knows his subject completely and has one purpose in mind , and that is to bring the listener to the foot of the cross where man can make a decision for Jesus Christ . I always look forward to his preaching on TV. Never miss it - God bless him .....

Tue Nov 15 2005Dr. Adrian Rogers unlike most preachers on TBN actually preaches the Gospel and is also one of the best Apologetics Teachers out there and is who I consider instead of TD Jakes to be the next Billy Graham. Adrian Rogers has by the way passed away on 11-15-05 (see www.lwf.org for more info

Wed Jul 20 2005He theology is common among his television ilk and nothing remarkable there. I do not like his waling on the poor Palestinians and his hawkish stand about going into Irag.
