He might have been one of the greatest orators, but his evil deeds out did the good ones. Unlike Martin luther King Jr. who spoke the words of peace and good message through his entire life, Hitler was just good and after he received the power, he became a monster and turned against those what who gave him the power, killing and persecuting the innocent! We know this is all know this is the truth. This man is the worst in the history of men I have known to have lived!

The fact that, as some people have previously stated, this man is one of the most evil men this century has ever seen should rate him higher not lower. This is not a list of likeable people, or people you want over for sunday dinner, it's a list of importance. And this man should be remembered by all as a reminder of how easy it is to incite hatred against others, and use that hatred to eradicate a culture. Ok this is part of the reason why I am not on here any more. Adolf Hitler is at the top of the list for 20th Century leaders. Any one who worships this evil piece of crap amazes me, here is a guy who had probably the greatest war machine the world had ever seen, with some of the best military minds and mostly, thanks to Hitler, he looses the war. He doesn't just loose the war, his country is bombed back to the stone age and then proving to be the coward he really was, he kills himself. He led his people into a war that they did not want or need and then he even turns on them because he blames them for the defeat. This is the number one leader of the 20th Century. Hitler was perhaps the most infamous of modern villians, though Mao and Stalin caused as much or more misery with their brands of utopian genocide. His goal was a perfect society and to achieve it he planned to exterminate or reduce to slavery the vast majority of humans on earth. He had particularly deadly animosity towards Jews, socialists*, liberals, Gypsys, the handicapped and sexual minorities, and he believed that the world should be run strictly by and for the benefit of "Aryans". Never one to allow pseudo science to get in the way of his plans, when he felt the need for military help from the Japanese, he declared them, "Aryans of The East". *His cynical inclusion of the word, "socialist" in the nazi party's name was typical of his propaganda minister's BIG LIE technique.

It is my belief that Adolf Hitler is important to history and one of the most influential men. Now don't take this information and just think I'm some e-Nazi because this is all raw truth. Without this man ever coming to power you could wipe two countries of the map of today. Adolf Hitler was one of the worst human beings who ever lived. Because of him thousands and thousands of people died. So many people were killed that they had to bury them in ditches. Hitler believed that only Germans should live. He wanted everybody else to be killed. Thank God that he did not succeed. It was a great day when that bastard died. Many great soldiers lost their lives fighting against him. They were great heroes.

In a world where moral hypocrisy is on the rise, I could not help but rate him a 5. I am not a fan of him but he influenced alot of people. He did alot of bad stuff, but some of his actions were exaggerated and some things he did were intentionally/unintentionally misunderstood. Israel and America hate him alot, as do many others, but they have done bad things like him or even worse. The Zionists in Palestine took many lessons from him and terrorized Palestinians. Just when I thought I rated every Hitler entry at Rateitall! What could I possibly add to the thousands of postings here? After all is said and done, Americans will simply plead ignorance for voting in an incompetent putz in 2008, and for the most part, I’ll accept that. Not so much with the German people. Many of them knew the Nazi party was anti Semitic and still supported them. That never sat right with me.

Adolf Hitler was bar far the greatest speaker in recent history, quite possibly of all time. I don't speak German well, but you don't need to speak his language to realize how great he was at speaking it. Just listen to one of his speeches and the sheer emotion in every word. Not to mention the fact that he turned a 50 man political party into the sole party of Germany through his speeches.

Hitler is easily the greatest orator of all time. Hitler went from being a poor Austrian peasant, the son of an abusive customs officer and his grossly under aged wife to the the German Chancellery. All of this thanks to his remarkable ability to manipulate and subsequentely control those around him due to his prodigious oratory skills (and a hell of a lot of wily stratagems and countermines). During the 12 years of his leadership there were  roughly 25 million military casualties and 41 million civilian deaths. His own country lost 11 percent of it's population. That's not a successful record.

Greatness doesn't mean good or bad. It means how great they were in their time. And Hitler was very great. He was a horrible man, but great he was.

I hate to give the guy 4 stars,  but if its a rating on Orators he deserves it.  He had a high IQ and was insane,  a dangerous combination.  That said,  he knew what people wanted to hear,  and he knew how to say  it, with confidence and a forcefullness that many at the time found convincing.

Hating Jews was just part of Hitler's military plan to bring back the glory to Germany. In order to wage war, Hitler must have funds to support this and the Jews are the perfect source for this. He believes that the Jews were the reason for his misfortune and for Germany’s poverty. It is just but right for him to take back what is due for Germany and as a penalty for the sufferings he will take it all back including those owned by the Jews. To finally escape to this inhumane act the only recourse was to eradicate them.

All those who cannot even concede that he was a great orator basically have their opinions swayed by other facts, merging the conclusion into a mush - "He was a bad man so he can't be a great orator." These are the types of people who cannot think objectively and are susceptible to propaganda.

Hm, while i was reading "Mein Kampf" i realize that he was nothink special as writer. In some opinions he was write and told the truth,in other he was just a funny guy.     Hitler(and maybe Stalin too) was the last real politician, he believed in a vision and he wasn't a manager of big companies like the modern ones.      He made Germany from a poor country,too a big powerfull nation, that's why German people loved him.    But... he send the kids of Germany to a war and finally he destroyed  what he built. Is he important in history? Begrudgingly, yes. But Adolf Hitler stands as a testament of what happens when inhumanity, enflamed with deadly hatred and seething racial bigotry, finds its way to power. We should always remember this disturbed, bestial figure of history in hopes that another one like him will never attain power.

It's interesting that it's much easier to rate this guy on the list of "Most Evil". It seems kinda awkward comparing Hitler to inventors and such. But, was he important? Hell, yes. Hitler was an evil men that could convert the entire civilized nation into gang of the cold-blooded killers. There, who were opposing the new politics, were killed as well.
