Across Country Movers

My wife and i hired Across Country Movers on a recommendation from a co worker of mine. They were open and honest about the price and promised me there would be no hidden charges and they were true to their word. They were very friendly and always laughing and worked very well together. The last movers damaged all our walls and stairs but they did not damage a thing and moved our heavy dressers down the stairs very professionally and used a few moving tricks i had never seen before. The wardrobe boxes were such a bonus for our clothes as well as the extra boxes they gave us. We were very impressed with them. Thanks again gents.

I am more than happy to rate the moving crew that did our move with a 5 out of 5, but I actually wish we could rate them higher than 5, because I would do just that!!! I have never had such a relaxing and enjoyable move and it is totally because of Across Country Movers` team!!! These fellows were good humored throughout the long day even when we started to get a little stressed because of all the boxes coming into the house. We definitely need to downsize and have a garage sale soon!!! (-: The young fellow on Across Country's team displayed such an amazing attitude and work ethic that I commended him on his fabulous attitude about work!!! About 2 weeks ago we received our delivery from our long distance move, and I wanted to take the time to submit a review on this. I had a very pleasant experience with this company. We had everything moved from BC to Ontario. Most of the delivery remained in storage with them for almost 4 months. We did get some part of the shipment when the goods arrived. We made many moves before, so were nervous as I was expecting damage after the final delivery took place. But I was pleasantly surprised. Aside for 1 very small scratch , everything arrived in a good condition. . The movers brought the items wrapped in the original wrapping conditions and took the time to take off those items in my home and place them at my request. Great job done by the movers at the delivery, can’t say enough. My representative Adam and the manager John were always there for me. If I emailed I had a response, same about calling. I had 3 guys from Across Country Movers that moved me from North Vancouver to Fredericton last month and they did a wonderful job. They were hard working and took great care of my personal belongings. I had a lot of heavy stuff, and I moved from a three story house in van to a beautiful single story dwelling. They were very careful with not scratching the walls while moving things down the stairway. I would definitely recommend them! They were also very nice and personable. The administration was great about helping fill out the forms I needed to cross us customs and everything went very smoothly. I may be calling on you again to help me move back to BC if things don't work out here. Cheers

Across Country Movers is simply GREAT! On moving day our four man crew was just in time and they were fast, efficient, careful and kind. I almost didn't know what to do with myself watching these men go to work. I did the packing so all they had to do was the actual moving, but they also packed up our electronics, wrapped the furniture and put our hanging clothes into wardrobe boxes. Until recently, we had never used a moving company for a relocation as our friends and family would lend helping hands, vehicles, and time. Since moving away from most of them, we decided hiring movers was the way to go for this move. Such a great experience moving with Across Country Movers. Movers were amazing and really made the move a breeze. This was my first big move and I couldn't be happier with the results. These 3 took care of my property as if it was their own and everything arrived intact! They took great care to package every item and ensure that it wouldn't be damaged en route. They even helped set up a dining table that was dropped off the day before. They were professional, courteous and the reason why I will be referring Across Country Movers to my friends & family. I moved from Winnipeg, MB to Sooke, BC and used a moving company before, was a little hesitant hearing all of the horror stories, and decided to go with Across Country Movers due to the overwhelming quantity of positive reviews. The guaranteed price attracted me because the last thing I wanted to deal with at my new home in BC was some surprise, exorbitant increase in the price as stated by one of the reviewers. I had received quite a few quotes, all of them lower, but had been warned numerous times that the price could double at the time of the drop, a potential nightmare. Not so with Across Country Movers. I knew where I stood right after the sales rep drew up the estimate. Overall, an easy experience that allowed me to focus on other matters pertaining to my move. Across Country Movers recently assisted us with moving my elderly mother from Vancouver to Lethbridge so she could be near us. As I was planning the move to Lethbridge I was very worried about how things would go, even when you read reviews you always have fears about how everything will work out. After careful thought and research I decided to try Across Country Movers, I couldn’t have been happier with my decision. My 70 year old mother was home with only a neighbor and the men came in introduced themselves, and got right to work. I opted to pay the extra for the full packing and they did a great job, nothing came broken. My mother was very happy. Delivery was also wonderful, this time myself and my husband were there and found the driver and his crew to be pretty professional and quick. The Move Man was great to work with. The movers were clean and curteous and took great care with valuables. They even taped up some boxes that were falling apart. They helped to make an event that is normally stressful, easy and stress-free. Thank you for a great job!

We have thought about renting a U-Haul truck and do our moving, but at the end we decided to hire professional movers (Across Country Movers) and now we're so glad we did! What would have taken us at least 4 days to do; they did in 2 days, so it was worth every penny. We moved literally across country It was a complicated move into an apartment with narrow hallways and tricky parking; they managed to make it work flawlessly and were professional and courteous the entire time. In today's times there is nothing more appreciated than good customer service and people who do what they say. I would like to thank to Across Country Movers on my recent move. All the moving crew were wonderful. They showed up on time, and they were so hardworking and efficient, not to mention cheerful and polite. They took care with all of our belongings, carefully wrapping the furnishings. We were amazed at how quickly they had the trucks loaded up and ready to go to Whitby. The whole moving experience went so much better than anticipated. They had a great attitude, and didn't complain about taking furniture to the third floor bedroom in the new house. Hey there, this is Nancy. I live in Vancouver Island ( Sooke ) and have senior parents. They used to live in Saskatoon and we were planning to come together in Sooke. Finally, at the end of this year, we made all the arrangements for them to come here. The only concern was the moving service. Because, i did not have chance to go to Saskatoon to help them because of my work, so i had to find the best company for them. I searched for a while and asked for an online quote. The next day, a couple of people called me but the most effective one was from Across Country Movers. I made all the arrangements with him and booked the pick up date. Olds, AB - Surrey, BC Movers came early morning and were very nice people. They worked fast and smooth. Then we went to scale together and my shipment was scaled in front of me. So, i didn`t have any concerns about it. After 4 days, i received my belongings. They came exactly on time and worked very clean and organized.
