ACLV Heating & Cooling - Air Conditioning Repair

January 14, 2011 Looking on the internet hoping to find a reputable HVAC service company, I found ACLV with a number of very good customer reviews. Upon reading the content of these reviews, I decided to call them and schedule a service call. The technician, Mr. Jim Tangren, arrived Friday morning Jan. 14th on time as promised, and promptly and correctly took care of the problem (Low Freon due to an extremely small leak in a 20 year old Carrier Heat Pump), at a very honest and fair service charge. I would like to add, that at no time did Jim try to exert any pressure to buy anything additional, and only advised that at anytime in the future should I need to replace my old unit, that I consider their company's competitive prices and service. I called ACLV on Wednesday for a quote, they came on time on Thursday for a bid and to make measurements, and I had the unit installed complete by Friday AM. These folks are courteous, professional, neat, and customer oriented. Their prices are far more competitive than the big companies for the same make of unit. They don't spew BS about this or that. Their energy star units qualify for the federal tax deduction to boot. I've lived in Vegas for six years and this was the most satisfying contractor experience by far to date. I recommend them without reservation.

One of the 2 units of our AC stopped working. Imagine the anxiety in a 110degrees temp looking for a company that won't rip us off. I called this company at 10AM yesterday (Saturday). Frankie showed up at around 12:30. Right away, he gave me a diagnosis-- it is our power outlet that is broken so the unit is without power. He kindly showed me which circuit breaker in the main power outlet is broken. If only he does electric work i would have asked him to fix it but they only do ACs. He DID NOT even charge me the $50 diagnosis fee. Now I just have to look for an electrician/company to fix the power surge/failure problem. I will take John's word that it is not our AC that has the problem. But if our units need to ber serviced after i get the electric problem fixed, I will definitely call ACLV, without a doubt. In this day and age, esp here in LV, it is hard to find honest people. Thank you ACLV.

I live in Michigan and own a home in Las Vegas with students when the air conditioning broke in 111 degree weather. I called who any other out - of- towner would trust. Sears wanted $7000, Home Depot $8000. Panicked, I hit the Internet and found ac lv for $3200. Next day at 9am..it was being installed! The other two? A few days. The kids says it's cooling what it's set at and I have a 10 yr warranty.  I had $3200. I did NOT have $8000! I took a gamble on a website and won!

AC For Less left me in a jam with a terrible installation. One of my units leaked all the Freon out. My warranty was never registered with AC For Less so I thought I was totally out of luck. Gerry Walked me through the warranty process and helped me get the unit fixed for a fraction of what I thought it would cost me. I'm glad someone is out there helping people that got screwed by AC For Less.

Amazing company, our air conditioning went out on a Saturday Morning, by Saturday afternoon they had diagnosed and had fixed our problem. Very professional, clean, and polite. Never pushy. Which is hard to find these days. They gave us the best price. I would highly recommend these guys to all my friends and family. Make sure you ask for Gerry he is the guy to talk to. AC Las Vegas was a God sent. Our AC went out and we were affraid we were going to have to spend an arm and a leg to replace it. AC Las Vegas saved us several hundred dollars and they even had our new AC replaced within 24 hours. I don't know what we would have done with out them.
