Awful -- the worst sitcom on that ABC block (but highest rated!) -- the epitomy of Red State Comedy since Married...With Children went off the air.

Here's ABC's take on the woefully-rampant dumb-guy-has-beautiful-wife[TM] formula for writing sitcoms. There's not much creativity to be found in this sitcom either. The cast has average-or-less talent all around. Can you believe this uncreative dulldrop actually was beating the ever-brilliant Frasier in the ratings during Frasier's last year? I truly can't. Anyway, this, like so many current sitcoms, doesn't have a drop of high-concept in it.

As with any ABC SITCOM, it's verrryy UNFUNNY. How does it last beyond the pilot episode? Are there really people in America who say, Hey gather 'round the tube family. According to Jim is on. Jim Belushi is no John Belushi. I honestly can't recall ever laughing at anything he ever said or did. And we are made to believe that a women as beautiful and sexy as Courtney Thorne Smith is going to shack down with a fat hairy-bellied Neanderthal slob from Chicago. ABC comedy writers are to humor what Enron executives are to ethics.

I have never seen so much bad chemistry from a tv family in my life. The acting could be so much better from these entertainers, as they are very good normally. Jim Belushi is a wonderful actor, and I was very surprised to see him in such a trashy show. He could do so much better. :(

Good comedy. True life...with some families..I know it's like that with my aunt and uncle, he never wants to do anything.

It's everything you'd expect from an ABC sitcom: totally unoriginal and predictable. Zero depth. Characters you will grow to hate. That chick that plays Courtney Thorne Smith's sister is pretty cute, though. She's a real brat, too. I'd love to bang the 'tude right out of her.

Very good show and very funny... be still needs improvement in the story line. It's too much of the same ol' stuff just in different episodes.

Hey, it's a sitcom starring a fat slob with a cute wife! Never seen a show like this before. Only on ABC.

This show is very wonderful. The actor's are great and I got to meet Jim Belushi, Courtney Thorne-Smith and Larry Joe Campbell, and I got to have my picture taking with them. I got a chance to be at all of the tapings last season and I will support them again by go to all of the tapings again. They work very hard to put a good tv show together!!!!

I think this is hilarious! Jim Belushi is histerical, as well as the rest of the cast! If any women out there take a good look at their own husbands or boyfriends, I am sure they can find a glimmer of Jim in them. I have an absolutely wonderful husband, but I laugh so hard during this show because Jim reminds me of my husband, in some ways.

I classify this one with the Bonnie Hunt show. Another unfunny show giving Chicago actors a bad name.
