I have been a double major at ACA for almost 3 years. I transferred from OTIS my Junior year to study pattern making and was very excited to learn that ACA offered a degree in it. Through my extensive studies, I have gained so much knowledge in the art of fashion design and pattern making which is the backbone of fashion. I have finished my BA in fashion design and will be done with my BS in pattern engineering in a few quarters. I am currently working full time as a freelance pattern maker for several different companies and private clients. For anybody interested in the art of pattern making and fashion design, I highly reccomend ACA based off my experiences at other design colleges because the one on one experience I get is piceless.

I am a fourth-year student at ACA in the pattern-design program, with my bachelor degree only a few months away. After I graduate, I will begin my fourth career with a set of skills that co-ordinate with what I have done for many years as a creative stitcher and fashion sewista. The environment challenges you to develop your best by competing with yourself, and not with other students. The majority of students come in as fashion design majors, but pattern design is no less creative, and there is a huge need for well-trained patterners. The meticulous and unique methods I have learned at ACA are not taught at other fashion design schools. If you want to stand out from the crowd and not be a part of it, come by the school to visit, and see how unique it is. Being a student here has been an excellent experience for me! Thank you for reading my review. Kay in Los Angeles

I love this school! My professors are all very knowledgeable experts in their fields, and the classes are small and personal. I have learned so much since coming to this school, and unlike another fashion school I transferred from, I feel like the education I receive at ACA has practical application and will help me get a job when I graduate.
