Favorite shows on ABC, are Alias and NYPD Blue. They seriously need to cancel America's Most Funniest Home Videos badly. Now, my TV show of choice on ABC, is Lost.

They are slippin' and slippin' bad. In days of old I used to be impressed by the Wide World of Sports and whatnot. Lately they've been third, maybe even fourth place for the networks in sports, who are themselves lagging behind the ESPN juggernaut. I also can't think of one solitary show that I tune in for. Not one. Way to go, Disney.

To tell you the truth, the last time I watched ABC was during the NBA Finals, and that was back in June. Other than a bit of NBA basketball, they don't really have anything else worth watching. They don't even have enough basketball. They'll air a game, maybe two on Christmas, then they won't start showing Sunday games until after the Super Bowl, they might show one or two playoff games, and then they have the NBA Finals.

Pick any station with news and you might as well turn it off. It is so prejudice toward Obama we cannot find out who or what he is. We are just suppose to be dumb and let the left tell us what to do. But we got to pay the bills and not them.

In decline and dying on the vine. I guess that competition and choice really have made life much richer for the viewing public. I look at the network listings after I have checked out what's on cable. I am not alone, I am sure.

ABC would get just one star if it weren't for Lost. Otherwise, I am not too suprised that ABC would get rid of MNF and replace it with such GARBAGE!!! such as The Bachelor and Supernanny! No self respecting man would watch that trash instead of MNF unless he was castrated.

Much like NBC, there's just not much there to draw my attention. Unlike NBC, there hasn't been anything in years to draw my attention anyway, other than Monday Night Football which is moving to ESPN. Redeeming factor: Eva Longoria is hot.

ABC has been faltering over the past years but have picked themselves up with Lost, Desperate Housewives and Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Some of their shows are crap but the new people at the executive level seem to be doing a complete overhaul of ABC's programming which is exactly what the channel needs. The place where they really need some help is their sitcoms.

I agree with pip_squeak that ABC (all the networks for that matter) has gone way downhill -- to the point where it is just plain unwatchable. Up until around five years ago, there were a lot of great shows that acutally had morals -- Step By Step, Family Matters (both of which switched to CBS in their final seasons), Full House, Home Improvement, the very short-lived Second Noah, and much more. Now, it is just pure garbage, and honest family sitcoms are gone for good from network television. I'm just glad I have cable, a satellite, and videos so I can absorb myself in quality programming of my own choice whenever I'm in the mood.

First off, any network that allows The Drew Carey Show to air for nine years deserves to be in the ratings gutter. Aside from that, ABC seems to have lost its way. There was a time for instance, when the TGIF line up was unstoppable. Full House, Family Matters and Step By Step had millions of viewers hooked. Corny sitcoms? Yes. But at least they tried to instill family values. Drew Carey was just plain unfunny. Ever since the 1999-2000 season, ABC has lacked any shows I'd even be remotely interested in. The Bachelor? Are You Hot? Gimme a break!

Terrible...Terrible...Terrible. The one good show they have, first off, is Hope & Faith. America's Funniest Home Videos is alright, but isn't the same without Bob Saget. All of their other sitcoms seem to follow the stupid-fat-guy-with-beautiful-wife formula or something else equally uncreative. Their dramas, including the patently offensive, NYPD Blue are terrible. The Wonderful World is Disney would be great--if the movies weren't butchered with edits, commercial breaks, and fullscreen presentations. Also, they too have offensive, creatively barren reality shows. Their Saturday Morning Lineup, also, is pitiful since the departure of the brilliant Buzz Lightyear of Star Command. Only Power Rangers--which is available also on ABC Family and That's So Raven--Disney--are the highlights.

The worst of the big 5(NBC, CBS, FOX and The WB) Their sitcoms are mediocre to lame with only Life with Bonnie being the exception. Some of their dramas maybe of quality, but I can't judge them because I don't watch Alias, The Practice, NYPD Blue, Threat Matrix or any others. ABC seems to kill a show before really giving it a chance. Luckily for Alias fans, they've let it continued. The positives of ABC is I do like their news, their news magazine shows(20/20 and Primetime Life) are better than any other with the exception of 60 minutes. For personal reasons I do like their soap operas. As a Disney fan I do sometimes enjoy watching The Wonderful World of Disney. ABC is not a network to just come out and grab my attention.

Ever since Disney took over this network in 1996, the level of programming in this network has gone down significantly. Disney is a company that has been in the doldrums creatively for the past 10 years. When Disney came in, they injected their vapid programming on this network which has been sliding ever since. They appeal largely to the teenybopper crowd and women over 40. Very lame programming overall.

ABC has been my choice for many years, it's one channel I always found myself coming back to. In light of the recent announcement they will be cancelling Port Charles in October, I have to say I will be one of the many people boycotting ABC! My TV very rarely left ABC, except when everyone came home for the night. I have found there isn't much on this channel anymore except garbage! I don't find the sitcoms on this show of much interest and there is getting to be to many of these reality based shows, if people want reality they can watch the news, you want comedy, go to your local walmart or mall and spend a day. Other than Port Charles and the news I have no reason to watch ABC. Come October my TV wont be seeing ABC all day like in the past!

Some Great Shows such as Bachelor, but they need to cut down on the sitcoms and show some good crime drama shows on the weeknights. Some good dramas like Alias though!

The Australian media claim that ABC are quite accurate and don't rush there info whereas CNN is regarded as to Right Wing by the Australian media who claim that they are quite inacurate and rush there information. I found this to be untrue (even though they are bouth to the right of the Australian media, even PBS).

I've been enjoying "Are You Hot?" and "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here". Both shows are too absurd to be taken seriously--which is what makes them pleasant entertainment. And "8 Simple Rules for Dating my Teenage Daughter" is one of the better sitcoms to come up the pike in the last few years.

ABC stands for "A Buncha Crap." It jump the shark with reality shows like I am a celebrity and Am I hot? These shows are cheap rip-offs of Survivor, American Idol, and Fear Factor. Who wants to see Lorenzo Lamas used his faultfinder flashlight? or Melissa Rivers putting bugs in her panes? Yuck! The only good thing about this channel is The MOLE!!!!

They're a lot better than the leftist channel NBC, they can rely on real comedy like "My Wife & Kids" & "According To Jim". I like the classic Disney movies they show on Sunday nights, too. The merge was a good thing for ABC/Disney.

Ever since the Disney purchase back in 1995, ABC has been going down in quality program. One of the worst things to happen was the over kill of the now cancelled "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire". Recently they have improved a bit for the 2002-3 TV season. Let's hope they succeed this year.

Wel, it looks like ABC might be getting a clue. They brought The Mole back, and I also like State v. There are also rumors that TGIF is coming back. If this is true, and depending on what they show, I might bring this up to a 4 star rating.
