Aaron Brown

Have Missed Aaron Brown on CNN and it hasn't been the same at CNN since he's gone. Wherever Aaron Brown goes on TV - I'll find him and return to listening to him once again. PBS is lucky.

Seemed quite grounded, a refreshing change.

We miss Aaron greatly. I liked his style, it was slightly more relaxing than the general environment of CNN. I looked forward to his program and was very sad when he was dropped. Aaron, if you read this, you had a great program and I for one miss you.

LOVE Aaron Brown, and shame on CNN for letting him go, but heads up CBS if you are looking for a good anchor!! This guy is smart, a thinking persons news anchor. Great style and delivery, was WONDERFUL during 9-11 (I mean, can you actually see someone smarmy like Jon Stewart anchoring during a national tragedy as well as Aaron did?--NO way!). Re-assuring, comfortable, and will be missed. I also love Anderson Cooper, his replacement on CNN, they remind me of each other, quick witted, smart, clever, honest, but to let Aaron go was a HUGE mistake, that Prez of CNN is really stupid.

Aaron was smart, soothing, funny, wonderful voice. I miss him nightly or often on repeats in the early am. I think CNN should bring him back with a raise to boot not given him the boot.

I miss him! Thumbs down to CNN for letting him go. He was a class act, a thoughtful non-hyperbolic newscaster.

I like him on CNN; but I loved him back on World News Now; he was a scream. The powers that be need to let him loosen up a bit more.

In a world where TV has become so harsh, mean spirited and downright low rent, Aaron Brown is a breath of fresh air. Yes, he has an opinion, but his manner is just what is needed to deliver the news today. He does not take himself so seriously, and seems content with who he is. I am sorry that he has slipped in the pecking order at CNN, maybe they will come to thier senses and reinstate him as the #1 anchor again. He makes watching the news a pleasure

Aaron is not the typical TV anchor, which is why his fans love him...but hated by those who don't get him. I'm just sorry that they have to resort to name calling. What I see as intelligence, some might see as condescendence....what I see as thoughtful, some might see as boring...what I see as assurance, some might see as arrogance. But he's known in the business as one of the best news writers on television and if you listen to his words, just listen to his words, you'll find a heart and a human being.

He's a lousy liberal and the poster child for the liberal media. What more is there to say? All he can do now is whine another four years while the Republicans laugh in his face.

I like the carefully chosen, well reported news, presented in an index format; it provides the audience with a clear picture of what is going on in the world. Of course, Mr. Brown's objectivity and good manners are not for everyone, particularly those looking at the news for polical self-assurance.

Where do these posters come up with the notion that Aaron Brown is a dentist???? He went to college for one year, for crying out loud. Check your facts. BTW, I think he's a pretty terrific newscaster - and - he doesn't let his guests scream/shout at each other.

Just after 9/11 Aaron said, in near tears, how NYC should be thought of as America's Heartland,not the Midwest, and he went on and on and there was this lady from NYC who was saying how New Yorkers would survive this much better than those people in Kansas City [ mistaking Kansas City for Oklahoma City]. I just thought what's going on NYC wasn't attacked by the Midwest. He's a local newsman on a national network.

I like Aaron Brown, he is witty and wry, I like his show on CNN. He presents the news in a way I like to see it presented, asks the questions I would probably ask myself, has similar emotions to events that I have. I think of him as similar in type to Anderson Cooper, but a bit older (no harm intended Aaron!). I have liked him since he was on the evening news in Seattle years ago.

I used to live in Seattle, where Aaron Brown started. When I first saw him I was surprised at how boring the guy seems to be. To me he seemed outclassed by even the local news personalities. The next thing I know is that this guy made the big time and was on network news! Geez, I'm still totally perplexed as to what qualities people find in this character. He reminds me of a funeral director.

Show-off. He literally started with CNN on 9/11 so he suddenly thought he was the second coming.

Aaron Brown is the worst TV News person I've ever seen. He's biased against Bush, seems utterly unprepared every single night, and is a blowhard. If he were talking to me personally at a cocktail party, I'd excuse myself. Pathetic, but par for the course for the Clinton News Network.

I read once that he criticized Greta Van Susteren for having plastic surgery. At least she 'fessed up to it. Meanwhile, this fool is sitting on CNN with big fake teeth, fake hair and a nose job. He's unjustifiably pompous and full of himself.

First rate! One of the most even handed, wry, smart anchors. Not sure why he always seems to be working the late shift. He is not the talking heads most news use, maybe we are not ready for real reporting?

I can't see how this man made it to television. He is absolutely boring!!! I have no interest in what he asking the guests and he's too timid. I believe his talents would be better utilized behind the camera in some back office somewhere. he is not the right fit for television. I can't see how he receives any really good comments.

His delivery reminds me of the old Dick Tracy character mumbles.

If you want to watch news in a different way, in the best way possible with some fun included, you should turn your TV set on to CNN each weeknight at 10pm ET sharp to NewsNight With Aaron Brown. Those who speak negatively about Aaron Brown are the same ones who read the junk about him online before even giving him a try.
