I called A+ Transmission Specialists because I had a problem with my '04 Chevy Malibu. As a single parent with no disposable income the possibility of a transmission problem almost sent me to the hospital. I found out about A+ Transmission through a friend that had been using them for over two decades. My friend was right. Jim, the manager, saw to it that my transmission got fixed properly one day earlier than was promised and at a very fair price. I felt like I was investing in my cars' future, rather than paying for another auto repair. After Jim explained how a transmission works I promised to better maintain my transmission and not hope that a just fluid change will be a magic bullet and fix my problem. The decision to take my car to A+ was a very good one and I really think these guys are the best.

I had a transmission problem with my 9-years old car. I wondered if it was worth fixing. After speaking to a guy named Jim I went in for a check up. They were able to repair my transmission for less than a down payment on a new one. I was treated nicely, listened to and not talked over and got a high quality repair to boot. I would recommend this shop because of the care, professionalism and charisma of the employees. Thank you, Stevie

I wanted to take advantage of the open shop policy during the warranty work, however, Monday I was turned away because the tech called in sick. Tuesday he was at lunch and Wednesday I didnt hear from them at all. Thursday I dropped my truck off and mentioned again by phone that Id like to take advantage of the open shop policy but scheduling didnt allow it. Turns out the problem was the front diff actuator... huh? I had work done to my transmission not the front differential WTF? I still dont have an explanation as to why they were in the front differential but I have talked with several technicians who cant think of a reason. Further I had discussed my concerns with the franchise office and Dennis said he would find the answers for me but I havent heard from him since. In my opinion Manager Alex could use a g... Read more
